    My mom talked a Coney Dog stand out of their sauce recipe on the last day before they sold the business. I don't know if it was a total or partial replacement for hamburger, but it used ground beef heart in there.

    Those are the ingredients to Clare and Carl's sauce. My x-husband used to work for Carl Warren who owned Clare and Carl's at their home and was given the recipe years ago. It's the sauce I always make.

    I don't know where you learned to cook but you brown beef before adding other ingredients and DRAIN the meat. This is so greasy 🤢

    • @jennifervalenze7476
      @jennifervalenze7476  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually I did everything by the recipe the hamburger is to be lean hamburger I’m sorry your recipe turned out greasy I’m not sure what you used for hamburger I have been told by some that have tried the recipe they loved it again i am sorry it didn’t work for you this recipe is from 1927 and a few restaurants use it.

      Not for Michigan sauce, and if you want a nice meaty spaghetti sauce don't brown the sausage or hamburger, just cook it in the sauce - try it before you knock it

      Check any recipe on TH-cam for hotdog chili sauce or Michigan Sauce and all of the recipies are the same except some boil in water instead of tomato sauce!!! I had 3 Michigans from Clare and Carls' last Sunday and all the dates she stated were spot on and their sauce is to die for!!! And no, it's not greasy at all if you use a high quality ground beef!!!
