Hey everyone! We’re Cole & Charisma. Since the start of our relationship we've gotten a lot of questions about how we make things work as not only an interracial couple, but an interabled one as well. There are certainly differences, and despite them we have a great time, all the time! On this channel, you’ll find travel vlogs, Q&As, couple challenges, how-to/educational videos and more. We started this channel to bring people into our lives so we can answer some questions about how we navigate the world. We’ll show you behind-the-scenes stuff people typically don't see, and hopefully raise awareness surrounding accessibility and dating in a wheelchair. You'll quickly see in our episodes that we're all about positivity, inclusion, and keeping a great attitude no matter your circumstances, so if that's what you're into, you're in the right place!

Yes, because I heard that quick Cole shade talking into the shoe! My DH and I have been together 23 years and that is how we talk especially when shopping :)
That's good that you are wanting him to be independent! It will help him exercise his muscles and keep him from being stiff or contracted in his arms and wrist etc

Chicken tenders & macaroni is an awesome combination! Charisma doesn't know what's good, haha! I loved that hat on Cole! I think the only reason the pants & shirt didn't look hipster was because they were baggy.

I was introduced to this channel by a friend of mine because I’m in a similar situation. My boyfriend was recently paralyzed (T6) due to a botched scoliosis surgery and he’s a paraplegic now. I’m able bodied and we’re trying to figure out how to make it work. Watching your videos is really inspirational to us because you’ve shown us that there’s so many ways to adapt your lifestyle to do what you want with whatever abilities you have. So thank you for opening our eyes and also teaching us different modifications you can make to your car and house to better suit a wheelchair. Plus you guys are super cute and give great advice!

I'm with Charisma. My husband is almost mixing disgusting things together like cabbage and rice. Then he rolls his eyes when I tell him he should eat one or the other 😝
I agree with Cole. The foods can be eaten together as long as the person (Cole) enjoys the combo.
@@lefthandedRN Cabbage and rice are two of the main ingredients in polish gołąbki, aka cabbage rolls. The stuffing is usually rice and ground meat with a bit of tomato sauce and spices, and it's all wrapped tightly in boiled cabbage leaves and boiled in tomato sauce. You can use another grain like barley, but usually it's rice. So for anyone who grew up with that, rice and cabbage are actually a really obvious and traditional combination to eat together. And I'm pretty sure polish people aren't the only ones who have cabbage and rice dishes!

So, first...Vans, yes!!! You can't beat Vans. Love the burgundy ones. The shirt is not hipster AT ALL. Also, you can do craft beer every once in a while, but don't get hooked on the trend. You all make my day as always!!

A guide to the hipster shirt:
- beginner: small-print button up (buttoned all the way up).
- intermediate: Plaid button up (can be reminiscent of other aesthetics. mild "lumberjack" look ok. consider bowtie to cement your hipster status)
- advanced: any shirt with strong hipster vibes elsewhere in your look.

Chicken tenders and macaroni go together because the chicken tenders are the main and the macaroni is the side. Sushi and a pulled pork sandwich don't go together because they're both mains.

I feel that vans are kind of a staple type shoe. They go with practically everything.

Funny thing I had chicken tenders, Mac and Cheese with a salad yesterday for lunch. Nothing wrong with the combo and not a mix! it’s a comfort meal. Cole is looking sharp and was a nice look...and loved the Vans in fact I want a pair.

Fried Chicken with mac & cheese is a definite thing and not wrong at all. Foodie tastes are unique to the individual. However, there are times where certain pairings could be considered inappropriate, like when the meal has a definite theme to it. So sushi and pulled pork can be okay for a combo at a whim, but not okay at a meal designed for seafood. That's my two cents.
The hipster look would have been better if you'd gotten Cole skinny jeans. Getting them on him might have been a struggle tho. ;-) The shoes nicely matched the tubes on his wheelchair too. And the second hat with the design on it would have totally rocked.
