      Thank you! I've still got a lot to learn as far as making videos goes, but I enjoy the process, and people in the Silhouette community are so kind.

    Hi Brenda! Thanks so much for your detailed videos. I've learned so much from you even after using my Silhouette for years. There aren't many content creators who use Silhouette and I believe it to be superior to Cricut. I watched tons of videos just trying to find one for Silhouette using HTVRont's Sublimation HTV. They were all Cricut until I found yours. It's just so disappointing. Anyway, your content is awesome and I'm so relieved to have found you. Thank you for your excellent videos and for sharing your knowledge and love of crafting with us!

    I have tried it and it really works well. I did three designs on fabric remnants, and it does not wash out.
    I haven’t done an intricate design like that. I’m still in the learning phase.

      I always thought the extra steps were silly because printable HTV is a thing, but man... the colors!! There really is no comparison. My grandbaby stole the shirt as soon as he saw it. 😂

    I really love that htv for sublimation. You need to try as well the one for dark color.

      It's already in my Amazon cart!! 😂I really can't believe how nice the colors turned out on this.

    Thank you so much for this video, I've been wondering how this worked!
    Have you, by any chance, also tried the DTF kit? (With DTF printable foil and powder) That one is also supposed to help with sublimating designs onto cotton fabric. I've been wondering if there's any difference in results with these methods.

    • @silhouettesuccess
      @silhouettesuccess  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have tried the DTF kits and I was not able to get decent results. I was probably doing something wrong, but it always felt thick and rubbery, and the colors weren't great. I know a lot of people were saying this was the best way, but I swear... I could not get it.😅

    I think printable vinyl with eco solvent ink is better for the feel. When I use the sublimation HTV It feels like like a thick patch. The only thing good about using the sublimation vinyl is you don't have to use transfer paper

    What is “despeckle” in the trace panel used for, or do you have a video you can link that goes into detail about this? I never see anyone in videos using it, but I always mess with it just to see what happens. LOL. I can’t really tell what it’s doing. Thanks in advance. ❤

      It eliminates "noise" in the trace. It helps to get rid of little random bits that you don't want to trace.

    I used it for the first time last night, but I used a "vintage" print that was too light in areas, so it didn't turn out well. Do you know if I can layer another piece of the HTVRont Sub HTV for Darks over it?

    • @silhouettesuccess
      @silhouettesuccess  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That might work, I'm not sure. You can heat the HTV up from behind and remove it to start over. That might be a better option, as it wouldn't be as thick. Just be sure to place the vinyl in the same spot, because there might be some leftover glue.

    While I love the convenience of the htvront sublimation
    Paper , I find that the material is really heavy for the t shirts other garments that I have been sublimating.
    My question is is there any option for light weight sublimation htv something that is thinner and not so stiff .

    • @silhouettesuccess
      @silhouettesuccess  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have gone back to using printable HTV for that same reason. It's simple to use, and I've never had any problems with it peeling or fading. It feels a lot nicer than sublimation htv.

      @@silhouettesuccess have you ever had any issues where the sublimated cut isn't matching the htv cut

    • @silhouettesuccess
      @silhouettesuccess  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @VernonDavis-wm9fc yes. Check all of your printer settings. Make sure they match the settings in the software. The printer should be set to print actual size, and the print bleed should be off.
