Upon seeing this video, I was very critical and thought there are hundreds of videos like this out there. Why do I need to watch this one? I am so glad I watched this video. I didn’t know how to load my printer and I have an Epson with the top feed. And I didn’t know I could just cut it out and not have to use my cricket which I am brand new and don’t even know how to use yet. I give this video two thumbs up.

Hi, to be able to print HTV, does the printer has to be inkjet and do I need a different type of ink or can I use the ink it brings with the printer? Because I would just like to use my printer how I normally use it to print and just buy the HTV paper just like that but, I’m wondering if it will work once I try to use a heat press, would the image automatically transfer to anything like shirts or anything else?
No you will need sublimation ink and you need to check your printer is compatible.
U should be able to use ink that comes with the inkjet printer; i did

I wish I could feel this design after pressing. I’ve always hated the crunchy feel when using stuff like this. Is it soft or stiff feeling?
It has a feeling pretty similar to HTV in my opinion. I hope that helps! 😊

I understand that we should avoid fabric softeners, but can we use vinegar when wash instead of fabric softener?
That’s a great question! Vinegar should be okay, but you may want to do a small test run with it first. 😊

So after selling these shirts to someone they wouldn't be able to wash it with bleach used fabric softener or dry it if they want it to last long

He is using a regular ink jet printer. It's not sublimation ink.
Hi!!! My problem with using this was when i had several pieces and it wasn't just one solid design. It made for peeling and placing it down in my shirt. AWFUL. i didn't even think of a heat transfer sheet! Do you know if I'm able to use an old one or do you buy them new from somewhere?? Thank you in advance! (Hi Michael!!! 💕)
As long as the heat transfer mask is still relatively clean and sticky enough then you can definitely use it. You can also reuse the sticky carrier sheets from HTV. 😊

What type of heat tranfer mask are you using? I have used a making tape kind and it pulled most fo the ink off my image after i pressed it
I found a printable heat transfer from (Donkey Craft vinyl) which it is a vinyl trust me i love it PLEASE TRY AND DO A REVIEW ON IT😊

I am SO OBSESSED with making it my goal to get a @starcraftvinyl SOLO cutting machine. It has to be the most awesome cutting machine I have ever seen!! Apparently, the software is absolutely awesome as well!
Here's to hoping my 'someday' goal of getting myself a StarCraft Solo will be SOONer rather than LATEr! It's all Mr. Crafty Pants' fault for showing it so much in his tutorials!! I have been rrsearching it since I first seen him use a SOLO!! lol

WHY CAN’T I FIND ANYWHERE TO BUY THESE ANYMORE 😢 the dark printable transfers are the only sheets I’ve used for years. Even when I’ve had cheaper options to buy I still bought these because of how amazing they hold up. I’m so sad literally nowhere I’ve looked has them for sale. HELP!

There are so many people who have asked this question but are you using Sublimation Ink or can you use sublimation ink on these transfers??
Inkjet ink is not going to be successful. Sublimation ink is recommended.

This has been exactly what I was looking. I'm just starting out and did not want to spend all kinds of money on a special printer and ink if I did not need to. You explained everything so well and even wasted a shirt to show what would happen. The most important part you were so easy to listen to and follow.😊
Thanks so much for sharing!! Do you know what I can do to stop my prints from fading ? When I print an image in to my Tshirts, the whole background of my image becomes the same color of my Tshirts, and my print isn’t showing up vibrant as the print
I have used DTV products many times & I got a few complaints about color bleeding through the image or the image falls off prior to washing it, any suggestions what I could be doing wrong?

I want to make some t shirts. Can I use that ink?
Also I have a regular hp envy inkjet printer with regular printing ink, can I use that ink?
I’ve never run into this issue before, but when trying to download the file first there is no preview and then it tells me it 112M and too large to scan for virus. Is this file actually 112M ?
I am so disappointed ~ I was all set to give it a try and all the dark heat transfers are sold out with no known date as to when they will have more. This is written on June 30, 2024

What if you are using the cricut press?
You can absolutely use a Cricut EasyPress, just make sure you’re applying adequate pressure for the type of material. Extra firm pressure for the Heat Transfers for light materials and medium to firm pressure for the Heat Transfers for dark materials. Hope that helps! 😊
Does the sublimation process work on either of these transfers?
That’s a good question! We haven’t tried sublimating on these materials, but that sounds like something Mr. Crafty Pants would love to try. 😊 You can always print directly on them with inkjet printer ink if not.
Would love to see you try the sun ink on it & a wash test to see how long they last.
