I don't understand makeup companies' decisions sometimes. Like, why on earth would Essence make those eyeliners sooo chunky?!? Also, why would Milani change their eyeshadow formula in the first place, and then when everyone hated the formula, they just keep making palettes using it?? It makes no sense. I still have the Soft & Sultry palette, and it's so nice!

I think this product came out last year, but I can not remember if I bought it this year or last year, but I hated the Wet N Wild skin tint foundation. A lot of people seemed to love it. I do not have very large pores for someone my age and not too many lined a f wrinkles, but that stuff just settled into any texture I had, to the point that it looked like I had little dots on my face. It also would be gone an hour after I tried it. I decided to stick with my Purlisse BB cream instead. I tried a lot of stuff from Revolution this year that I loved. But some if it, wasn't the best. I didn't try the products that you did though. I was shocked about them putting those essential oils in the blush. WtF? And that pearl primer seemed like it had something going for it, but those pear chunks were just ridiculous. I agree about the Milani eyeshadows. Their color stories are beautiful, but the shadow quality is horrible. I could barely work with it and every look I tried came out looking like crap. I tried four Gilded palettes and just gave up.

It is SO good to hear someone describe the potential downside of hyaluronic acid--thank you! I'm a very dry-skinned gal in a very cold and dry climate; hyaluronic acid in any but the tiniest amounts will turn me into the Cryptkeeper in record time. A special thank you, then, for mentioning that the L'Oreal mattes contain HA; I'd been interested in one shade, but now know to save the $$ and skip the purchase. Awesome video.

I also regretted my purchase of the Danessa Myricks blurring balm powder. I have mature, combo skin, and it looked awful. Also your description of the Maybelline plastic blocks- Barbie accessory plastic- was hysterical and I knew exactly what you meant.
Hahaha I was hoping you guys would get the reference! I haven't seen that type of plastic used for anything in my adult life but I remember toys being made out of it! 😂😂😂
I think the only product I was surprised by was as the Lorac palette. Makeup Revolution has let me down so many times I don’t even give it a second thought now.
And L’Oréal, the lipstick floral scents have to go!! I had a color I loved but I COULDNT stand the smell even for a minutes. I felt like I could taste it
Seems like the Maybelline shadow blocks are being dragged by every influencer I watch. Love the Kaja bentos but wasn’t even tempted by the Maybelline blocks.
lol I just watched Zabrena's worst makeup of 2022 and she also mentioned those shadow blocks. Must be absolute crap for influencers to be so unanimous in their dislike
I love the WTFoundation. I have such dry skin and I use a little bit and it’s perfect. I think people are using way too much and looking for more coverage. It smells good to me and this is my favorite moisturizer now.
Omg I LOVE the Danessa Myricks balm! I have to have good skin prep, and if I do it melts into my skin so beautifully! Blurs my lines and pores nicely. I use my fingers to apply. It’s definitely a product I wouldn’t think everyone would like. I also love the Jones Road WTF! I wasn’t expecting a lot of coverage, but I liked the level of it. It works great with my skin, I do not use much. It wears well on me. Mine hasn’t gotten weirdly oily either. I don’t know why these 2 liked me, but I’ll take it!
I enjoyed this one, too, Jen! I got a chuckle out of you having a "rejects" bin where you keep cast-off products for the year! (I'd hate to be a product in that bin!) Having watched a few of these "Worst Of" videos this week, it's interesting to see the number of product repeats in this series (just like in the "Best Of" series!) Several of my my favorite content creators loved - and hated! - the same products this year!
That was GREAT Jen. I loved it. I had not tried any of those products. I have most of the Kaja eye shadows and love them, the other ones looked so tiny in the pans and the colors did not look great. You are a doll and look so pretty. I will miss seeing you daily. Thanks for being so generous wit your time. Your home looks so warm and lovely, even looking down the driveway. I hope you and yours have the best and most blessed holiday!
Just a FYI, those BH quads were in the works before Makeup Revolution acquired them. MR and BH actually released a statement regarding those quads and the Nude Ego launch. That was all BH cosmetics. The Nude Ego formula was much better than the quads from the reviews I watched on them. Makeup Revolution had also stated that they have no intention of changing the BH formula.
Oh I'm so glad to hear that! Interesting that those were BH...I wonder if they actually changed their formula before being acquired, possibly due to money troubles? Hmm...I'm definitely going to try their next launch and see if it's better!
I had the exact same experience with the Yummy Skin. Loved the texture so I was surprised when it found every bit of dryness on my face. It turned into a totally different product on my face no matter how well I prepped my skin.
I am not surprised you hated the Danessa Myricks since you have super dry skin. I have the oiliest of oily skin and I LOVE it as a primer to keep my oils at bay. I only need the tiniest amount and then I can actually go all day without having to use blotting sheets or more powder. To me it is a holy grail mattifying product but I totally get why anyone with combo or dry skin would hate it!
That’s interesting because I thought it wasn’t a product recommended for oily skin because it’s a balm. I have combo/oily skin and didn’t buy it even though it sounded awesome.
Love a good makeup dragging! lol Maybelline eyeshadow has been disappointing for...decades? lol I have Cover Girl eyeshadow from the 2000s that while not amazing, weren't THAT bad. I like Maybelline for lipsticks and mascara, but I remain salty they got rid of their nail polish line and stay with those dusty crusty shadows. I think my most disappointing product this year was the About Face fluid eye paint --- looks super pigmented in photos, but on me sheered into nothing on the eye. As always Jen, thanks so much for your great and fun content 😊
Agreed! I don't buy Maybelline (I only buy cruelty free starting this year) but remember their eye shadows were never my favorites in my younger years.
I live in a dry climate during wintertime and I always apply my Hyaluronic acid over damp skin. I literally put the HA over my wet face and then my moisturizer on top. Makeup Revolution sure needs some help! Also, L’Oreal please update those scented lip products. So gross, I never buy their lipsticks due to that awful smell and taste. Merry Christmas 🎄 Jen and blessings to you and your family over this holiday season.
For the second packaging, I would be glad it's not yet in my local Sephora in Canada. The Lash Princess mascara smudged on me so much even the waterproof version. I really do start hating makeup revolution after finding them copying someone else's packaging.
Danessa Myricks brand is one I always have an issue with. It never works for me but the yummy skin balm knocks it out of the park for me. My skin looks amazing is this! I had to get a back up! Not a fan of back ups for beauty products but it’s that good. One of the best beauty items of 2022.
Re the L'Oreal Colour Riche lipsticks, I also used to wear these back in the 90s and early 00s. They were decent drugstore lipsticks. I stopped for 2 reasons: the packaging and the scent/flavor. I realized that the packaging allowed people to open the product and possibly sample it and then put it back. I didn't want to buy a lipstick that other people might have put on their lips. Also, I have a strong preference for unscented and unflavored lip products. Revlon removed the scent from their Super Lustrous lipsticks some time back, maybe in the early 00s, and the SL lipsticks are packaged securely so that you can see the color, but you can't sample them. I started buying the SL products instead.
I am glad I did not spend my money on these products. Thank you for your honest reviews. I do like the "what they were thinking" makeup that didn't make sense. I like to see some series on those, but hopefully not offending anybody. Just an honest opinion and ways to help us be a conscious consumer. Thank you again for a great review.
Lollll Simihaze was on everyone’s naughty list. I think that whole line was disrespectful. Charging that amount for that small amount of product not to mention the packaging and quality.
So funny you mentioned this,as another person in the comments said something similar. This makes me wonder if Danessa Myricks will take this feedback and maybe make an eye primer in a similar formula as the skin balm?? Or another version of the balm that would better suit mature and/or dry skin?
I own the universal as well as the tinted shade and love both. I use the universal as my primer on my tzone. I'm combo oily skin and it really works to control my oils throughout the day.
Hello Jen I haven’t purchased any new makeup this year. But good to know what’s not to buy! And too funny on reviews!😂 Keep them Christmas vlogs coming 🎄🎅😊👍
The glowy pearls were probably inspired by Guerlain’ as meteorites makeup base which used to come with a white shimmer version but it’s has been discontinued. Guerlain kept the pink version.
I am sooooo happy you reviewed the Jones Road WTF foundation. I have been thinking about purchasing the WTF after trying the L'Oreal balm foundation. L'Oreals balm didn't work for me and I have been trying the KVD Balm but need to work with that a few more times before making a decision about it. I might just stick with my MISSHA CC cream, I love it.
I am a Jones Road fan too, but I have very dry skin. Most people who give it a bad review have combination or oily skin, so keep that in mind. If you have a Credo Beauty shop near you, they can give you a sample.
@@GenXVictoria i actually really like the WTF. I have fair, normal/ dry skin and prefer a low coverage, dewy look. Its perfect for me. I'm almost out and want more but don't want to spend that much on foundation so I'm looking for a drugstore dupe
Your review is so brutal! You are my makeup influencer whi is trust worthy. Thank you for saving me for wasting my money. Looking forward for your recommendations. More power!😍
I was curious about the Pacifica skin tint. I have their Alight foundation, and I love the shades and ethical formulation, but it’s too full coverage for me. I guess I need one on a medium coverage formula.
Wow! You've done it again! You HEAR us!! Jones Road foundation is just gross. I love some of her earlier products (e.g., color corrector stick is perfection!), but like you said, with this foundation we were all like WTF, Bobbi??? 😆 And cinnamon oil in a blush? Are you kidding?! That was just dumb! Thanks as always for your honesty and integrity. I don't know how you manage it, but I so look forward to each Vlogmas installment. I see a new video, grab a cuppa coffee, and indulge! ❤
I had to give up on all things Revolution because experience has shown it to be trash product, or I'm allergic to it. Seeing them make your worst of list was no surprise. 😬 I was so sad when it was announced they bought BH.
The Danessa Myricks balm looks amazing on me!!!! 😍 Until the next day when my skin is broken out. 😩. I’ve been using it as eye primer and it works very well that way thankfully. I have the clear universal shade. I bought it because Benefit discontinued my HG primer balm Dr. Feelgood. I was hoping it would replace it but it does not. It absolutely has the same lovely effect though but Dr. Feelgood did not break me out. Thanks for all the warnings! Sadly I won’t be buying any BH till I hear differently. The strange thing is for almost the entire year the BH display has been sitting empty in my Ulta!
I have oily mature skin and I love the danessa myricks primer! It's hard to find mattifying products that actually work, but also doesn't dehydrate my mature skin.
I always enjoy your posts. I especially enjoy REAL reviews because not everything is worth our hard earned $$$$ and we need to be able to hear honest opinions. While I know everyone is different , and not all things perform equally , it’s always helpful to get as much info as we can
I'm not sure if you mentioned this in your video and I'm sorry if you did and I missed it -but what eyeshadow are you wearing? It makes your blue eyes pop and is stunning. I want to go out and buy it like right now, lol.
Why in the world did they put cinnamon oil and ginger in blushes??? I watched your video and CRINGED at the thought of how much those products must have hurt your skin! Thanks for the videos...I learn so much!
I tried a mini of that danessa skin blur liberally yesterday and it's terrible on my skin too. Thank God I got a decent size little tin of it before I decided to buy it. Hard pass for me.
The driving portion of your opening intro reminds me of a tv show opening song I would used to watch as a kid. I can’t quite put it down to which show. But very nostalgic!
@@emilycline9985 I was thinking of that too. I looked it up on YT and noticed the driving scene is very short. But it probably is Who’s the Boss as it was also based in CT, I believe.
I have a quick question about ELF Camo Powder. I've been having a HARD time finding my perfect shade. I'm a similar tone as Allie Glines & when I use the more fair shades I look WAY TOO light then after some time it's kinda gives my complexion a green hue. Then, when I use the 1 that has a more rose undertone I look WAY TOO red. U got any advice??
I got the makeup revolution contour palette you showed, and even ignoring the colors, I found that it was extremely powdery with a lot of fall-out and looked muddy on my face
Thanks, Jen! I always appreciate your thoughts on products. You've helped me many times in the decision making process of whether to try something or not. I just got my first Moira palette and single eyeshadows a couple weeks ago, and wow! they are amazing! And I decided to skip several of the things you talked about today when I was on the fence about them. Looking forward to all the fun new things you try out in 2023! Happy Holidays!
Hi Jen, thanks for sharing your thoughts I'm glad you tried the Pacifica skin timt because I was going to try it and after your review I decided not to so it saved me money. You and a handful of other beautiful people have helped me save money on my purchases by reviewing,by sharing your thoughts, and when sales come along again greatful and thankful to have found your channel 🥰😊🤗 I hope your day goes well ❤️
Loreal colour riche lip products have been my favorites for a while and I will probably now try the one you mentioned in this video because I happen to live in Florida. Thank you so much for your excellent explanation regarding HA. This was my first video of yours I've seen but now I am subscribed.
You’re not bad. We need to hear the truth about these things. Even if it’s their truth. It still might be the same for us and save us some money. These companies do the most to separate us from our money. We need a balance. Personally I don’t like to watch people that love everything. It seems insincere plus I’m petty af 😈.
Makeup is very personal, I know that what works for one person may not work for another. I have not tried some of the products that you mentioned but the Maybelline stacks are horrible and pricey for 3 shades! I purchased 2 and they were so disappointing! Thank you for sharing 🎄💜
The only products that I tried with Hyaluronic Acid is Colourpop's Pretty Fresh Tinted Moisturizer, Foundation, Concealer and Powder. I love how it wears on my skin and makes my skin feel so nice and smooth and not caked on.
I'm actually going to miss it too! I really feel like I've gotten into a groove. I didn't think I'd be able to post every day but somehow I did it. In the past I never planned out my videos, I would just make one when inspiration struck. But for Vlogmas I actually sat down and came up with a list of video ideas and that planning really helped me so much. I'm going to keep doing that, so hopefully I can post more often during the rest of the year. Instead of 2-3 videos maybe I'll be able to do 4...it's definitely a goal!
Nope, me either I already spent a fortune on makeup, hyped by many, bur was so bad. Now I'm more picky, I have to be and I'm not just listening to one person. Matter of fact I've Unsubscribed to almost all makeup influencers. And I'll continue to do so If I find the ones I kept are costing me money on overhyped junk
I wish product reviews weren't incentivized because you can never trust those, and they're likely to be misleading. Why would Lorac & BH do that? Why change a fantastic formula?
If they’re incentivized like get the product for free in exchange for an honest review type of thing. I feel like it can go either way - you get people that are going to be honest no matter what, you get people who aren’t as particular about things because they didn’t spend their own money on it, and you get people who are scared if they say something bad they won’t get any more free products so just give it a raving review. I think it’s usually pretty easy to pick those out though, like when I go through reviews and see “Influenster reviews,” I still look at them but if they’re just saying how great it is without any real details but basic things like - so smoothing, Poreless, blurring, etc. - then I move onto the next review. It’s the reviews that seem to give real details that I trust more like they’ll say what their skin type is and how it worked on it, if it seemed drying or hydrating on the skin, if it transferred, how other products went over it, how it wore well throughout the day, etc. Like they really took time to pay attention to how it wears and really tested it out. Ya know?
I'll never understand why some youtubers say the milani and maybelline eyeshadows are good and work for them. While I'm over here thinking, you're so lying! Lol. I appreciate that you actually keep it real with us and tell how products perform. I'm keeping in mind that all of us has different opinions and skin types , needs, etc. Merry Christmas to you and your family Jen! 🎄🎄
I don't understand Maybelline. I love Nudes of New York. I couldn't believe this was a drugstore eyeshadow palette. I still use it. They hit the jackpot so why would they change their formula? You had a formula that worked. So disappointing.
I agree! That palette was great and I was hoping they would make more versions of it. That was years ago and they haven't done another palette since! 🤔
@@JenPhelps I bought it before I started watching beauty TH-cam. The only makeup I used then was drugstore and it was usually Covergirl. I stepped out of my comfort zone to buy that palette. It was great. I've done a declutter recently and that survived my declutter.
‘Why do companies change formulas’ is a good question. One makeup specialist told me that as countries make stricter requirement, such as the EU, they have to reformulate, which is why Chanel changed SO many of their formulas. Don’t know if this is true, many be Jen knows.
Great video! You can add the new Revlon Colorstay Suede Ink lipstick to the list for me...I was so excited about this one but talke about dry...Wow...it was pretty awful. It's always disappointing when you're looking forward to a release and it turns out so bad.
The Loreal lipsticks you showed did the same to me and we have very high humidity....I only bought one to try thankfully. They had a crayon type releae about a year ago and I put that in the bin as it was the same drying horribleness. Their regular bullet lipsticks are fine
Groan, I tried Milani's Dayz of Disco palette, and I'd say skip it. Milani does complexion like a pro, but their eyeshadows are just not it anymore. And yes, those Maybelline shadow blocks are no bueno.
I especially liked when you spoke about products that are suppose to be good for dry skin (your skin type). I have dry and sensitive skin. Like the WTFoundation. Very helpful. You really took one for the team with the Revolution products. So much unreliability! As far as L’Oreal lip products, I want to like the smell and always have, but I just don’t. I want to scrape it off my lips after 3 minutes.
I was so disappointed with the Lorac Amor Unzipped palette that I returned it. I almost never return makeup because I know it's going to get trashed but it was awful. The girl at Ulta who was returning it even swatched it and said oh wow that's not good, lol. Such a disappointment because the colors were beautiful!
Love the video!! U had me cracking up!! Wtf 🤣That foundation was horrible for me...I tried it so many diff ways and I jus couldn't get it to work for my skin...I'm normal to dry skin 41 so I thought it would be a new fav but nope nothing but disappointment....lmao 💞
I have oily skin and I adore the Yummy Skin Balm Powder. I had an allergic reaction to a new sunscreen, so I didn't wear makeup for a week while my skin recovered. First day back to makeup, I used the Yummy Balm and it looked horrendous! Clung to every post-reaction dry patch. Now that my skin has recovered entirely and sloughed off the dry patches, it's back to being beautiful again on me! It's definitely a product that only works for certain people!
So many times I picked up those Maybelline ColorBlocks and was intrigued by the packaging. So glad I never bought them, just couldn’t find any good reviews.
I was going to try the DM and the Jones Road foundation product, but I am not spending the money on something that is that horrible. We both have the same skin tone and type. Have you tried the pencils from Jones Road? The concealer ones? Those look good
I was also sooo disappointed with the amor pallet. The original unzipped is my number 1 favorite too. I’m glad it wasn’t just me that had that experience
20:15 that's odd. I haven't used those specific lipsticks but I do love the ones hyaluronic acid from Revlon, the Ultra HD gel lip color. It's not transfer proof, it's not matte but the hyaluronic acid is actually what makes them sooo comfy to wear, they feel high end. I live in the desert and can wear them during the dry/hot summer months and all year round without any discomfort. You'll love them bc of what you say about your lips.
thank you very informative and a few of the products you showed I tried and yuck.... maybelline eyeshadow box - awful. Oh well live and learn. Have a wonderful day holiday season. Merry Christmas

jen have a merry Christmas and happy new year also a brilliant 2023 you deserve it all the joy and happiness you bring through out the year with your video's xx
I felt the same way about the jones road but I kept at it and now I wear it everyday. I do blend it well with my fingers and I usually set it with powder. I think its because all make up winds up kind of dry by the end of the day and this doesn't. At the end of the day your skin still feels like it's freshly moisturized. Bobbi Brown is 65 and I think she meant it for women her age.
You know Revolution said that first release was an already planned release from BH before they took over. They claim that it is BH's formula. I know there have been some BH palettes that seem to have a lesser formula than others. Maybe that was the case with this release idk. I really hope we see something better from BH in the future bc some of their stuff was so good.
Yes that's right. BH has had lesser formulas. But it has been said over and over the formula is not changing. Revolution owns alot of brands people are unaware of
Stumbled on this video on accident, and you officially have a new follower! Super direct and I love that, also a perk is that you mentioned being in your 40s (you don't look like it). I don’t want the vlogmas to end! It is cheerful and uplifting. Thanks for adding more fun to my holiday!
I was also super let down by the Milani gilded flora palette. All washed into the same tone and the fallout was real. 🤦♀️
I just discovered Milani and was eyeballing the pallets, luckily I passed.
I think the only product I was surprised by was as the Lorac palette. Makeup Revolution has let me down so many times I don’t even give it a second thought now.
And L’Oréal, the lipstick floral scents have to go!! I had a color I loved but I COULDNT stand the smell even for a minutes. I felt like I could taste it
Yes I can taste them too...yuck!
I love when the elf shows up in different places in the intro. You never know where he'll turn up. 😍
Haha nope! We aren't as creative as some parents are but my son still likes looking for him in the morning. :)
Cool. You are so observant!😊
@@JenPhelpsI love elf on a shelf! My son used to love it and it reminds me of how happy he was looking for it every morning!
Ours sat in one place the whole season because I completely forgot about him!😂😢
Elf on a rod.🤭
I love your vlogmas intros! So cute.
Seems like the Maybelline shadow blocks are being dragged by every influencer I watch. Love the Kaja bentos but wasn’t even tempted by the Maybelline blocks.
Maybelline eyeshadows have never been my favorite but I was hoping maybe they'd gotten better!
lol I just watched Zabrena's worst makeup of 2022 and she also mentioned those shadow blocks. Must be absolute crap for influencers to be so unanimous in their dislike
I love the WTFoundation. I have such dry skin and I use a little bit and it’s perfect. I think people are using way too much and looking for more coverage. It smells good to me and this is my favorite moisturizer now.
What kind of foundation? I have extremely dry skin in dry climate.
@@rockymtgal8, 13:46 its called WTF foundation.
You're making me want to try it!!
@@rockymtgal8 I use the smallest amount and it works for me, like a pea size amount.
That's awesome that they worked for you!! I really wanted to love them!
You are so consistent. We love you and your content! 💯
I got that Unzipped Amore too. So disappointing! I think I used it a couple of times and decluttered.
They already stated BH was not changing quality. Let's not forget every company has their duds
Best TH-cam Vlogmas of the Year for me, Jen. Hands down. I appreciate you more than you will ever know. Love you. Merry Christmas.
Aw thank you Julie! Merry Christmas! 🎄
It's great to know why something doesn't work. I'm glad you did this.
I appreciate you so much !
I love the SL lipsticks! Those are really nice!
The Danessa Myricks balm looks dreadful on most of my skin so it's now my primer for eyeshadow 😀 Ironically, it works really well on my eyelids.
Ooh I'll have to try that!
You're blues are standing out, beautiful. Eye look is great on you!!
Loreal had slim lipsticks like that in the late 80's and they were great. Too bad these are a miss.
I appreciate your candid non-drama honesty.
Hello Jen
I haven’t purchased any new makeup this year.
But good to know what’s not to buy!
And too funny on reviews!😂
Keep them Christmas vlogs coming 🎄🎅😊👍
Funny, I’m 60 and LOVED the What the Foundation! It blurred my skin and lasted well, but I did set it with a makeup spray.
I was curious about the Pacifica skin tint. I have their Alight foundation, and I love the shades and ethical formulation, but it’s too full coverage for me. I guess I need one on a medium coverage formula.
You look beautiful today, Jen. Thanks so much for your updates and tips.
Me too! I was so afraid they would ruin it. :(
I've had reactions to Revolution mascara, eyeliner, and concealer - I'm glad it's not just me! I was starting to feel gaslit...
Somehow I missed this day of Vlogmas last year. OMG I cannot believe how gorgeous you look in this video. ♥️
🤪 LOL "The 'F' in WTF should be changed to another word!"
While I know everyone is different , and not all things perform equally , it’s always helpful to get as much info as we can
Good evening, Jen! Excited to watch! 😊💙💚💜🤎
Hi Christa! Wow you're early!! 🥰🥰💗💗
Me too! I can't figure out what it reminds me of but it definitely reminds me of an 80's show.
Is it Who's The Boss? I'm pretty sure part of that intro was a drive (admittedly, I haven't watched re-runs of WTB in a couple of decades).
Have you tried color correcting before applying concealer? Maybe that could help cancel out the weird undertones in the product.
@@kellygreengables3936 No I haven't actually. TY!!
Jane was started by Milani people. The Jane eyeshadows were good. They need to go back to *that* eyeshadow formula.
Spot on!!! 👏🏼 unfortunately a few of these products I bought and was disappointed as well.
I don't know why I'm such a bad person, but I enjoy watching bad makeup even more than good makeup!!
You’re not bad. We need to hear the truth about these things. Even if it’s their truth. It still might be the same for us and save us some money. These companies do the most to separate us from our money. We need a balance. Personally I don’t like to watch people that love everything. It seems insincere plus I’m petty af 😈.
@@TracyD2 🤣petty is a lot of fun.
You have become my favorite beauty TH-camr. I’m going to be really sad when Vlogmas is over as I look forward to your daily videos!
Thanks to you and other people i watch, I didn't get these! Thank you for helping those of us who can't afford to buy bad make up! ❤
Nope, me either
I already spent a fortune on makeup, hyped by many, bur was so bad. Now I'm more picky, I have to be and I'm not just listening to one person. Matter of fact I've Unsubscribed to almost all makeup influencers. And I'll continue to do so If I find the ones I kept are costing me money on overhyped junk
Lorac shadows’ low quality breaks my heart too. They had my favorite shadow formula, and I recently decluttered my old palettes. ☹️
Yes those were dry too!
I love the Danessa Blur Balm. I have oily skin, and it looks great on me. It certainly isn't for everyone though.
Please tell me what lipstick you are wearing?? It is beautiful!
Thank you! I'm wearing the Thrive Lip Liner in Kackie with lip balm on top. 😊
You are hilarious when you are so sassy!
I was going to try the DM and the Jones Road foundation product, but I am not spending the money on something that is that horrible. We both have the same skin tone and type. Have you tried the pencils from Jones Road? The concealer ones? Those look good
The Revolution Primer is hilarious. What were they thinking? Your comments were hilarious. Thanks, Jen! Blessings!
Haha thanks Lyn! It was such a crazy product! 😂
I was also sooo disappointed with the amor pallet. The original unzipped is my number 1 favorite too. I’m glad it wasn’t just me that had that experience
I took that balm powder back! I have very dry skin but that just did nothing for me!
Again saving us heaps of money, love your work Jen 🥰
The Revolution Blush Tints are still on their website. I have one of the XX Revolution Blush Tints and I love it. No irritation and I love the way it looks and wears. Sorry that they didn't work for you!
Love your videos! What lip color are you wearing? It’s gorgeous on you!
Aw thank you! It's the Thrive lipliner in Kackie with lip balm on top. :)
That makeup look is very flattering on you 👌🏾
omg YES !!!! I picked up the essence liner too - i was so let down ! :(
jen have a merry Christmas and happy new year also a brilliant 2023 you deserve it all the joy and happiness you bring through out the year with your video's xx
Makeup revolution makes me mad because they create too many throw away products. Such a waste. Anyway Jen your hair looks really pretty.
I saw the Pacifica skin tint in store and I thought oh how cute! But I KNEW, it's probably not even good 😕 lol glad I didn't get it
You know Revolution said that first release was an already planned release from BH before they took over.
I am 37 so when I watch these youttube videos I feel that most of the stars are much younger so I question if the products would work for me. Can't wait to see some more.
Hi Fatimah! Thank you so much, and welcome! :)
I had the same thoughts on the Maybelline eyeshadow.
