I absolutely believe both Marc and Steven are in love with Layla and she's in love with both of them. Imagine you're in a relationship with a DID system, would you want your husband's alters to love and be in a relationshp with someone else? It's best for everyone if they are all together.

Steven is absolutely precious! Oscar did a fantastic job portraying both characters, but Steven is the best. I don’t think we’re getting a season 2, which is incredibly disappointing because I think they could really explore some very dark storylines with Jake, juxtaposing that with our lovable Steven and practical Marc, but I hope that he at least pops up in other places because Oscar is way too good to not get to explore these characters further.
Second season has been teased despite the limited series contract; Given that Jake was simply introduced instead of given the last scene with a sense of finality. Disney/Marvel called the episode the “season finale” instead of “series finale” Here’s to hoping!
The fact that Oscar Issac played Steven so well that you can immediately tell who's Steven even if both Steven and Marc are kept in the same room without letting them speak, PROVES how much of a great actor he is. ❤
In the comics.I doubt he'll ever be his favorite considering his character in the MCU. Besides,they made him Mr.Knight in the MCU,I can kinda see him being set up as Khonshu's apostle priest like in the Mackay's run.

This brilliant series really flew under the radar, which is a pity. The first few episodes have quite a bit of foreshadowing that rewards repeated viewings. Its writing is very clever.
