Cats are easily the best class. It can do 999+999 damage with feline frenzy if: 1. You have max armor/weapon 2. 30+ food dmg stat 3. Scratch claws 4. And then you can just spam that attack. Absolutely destroys
I once watched my Lvl. 22 Laid-Back Cat get unusually focused while "In a good mood and full of energy!" and then my player character (thief at the time) help him attack the monster. Something like 630 damage, folded the boss like laundry. Would highly recommend
Chef's solo healing is alright but group healing is unreliable and there is NO revival. The attack power isn't anything special unless you're willing to hurt friendship, and that's ONLY if there's few targets. Hitting multiple targets? Up to 4, hurts friendship, and is very weak when hitting many targets. It's OK at best. Imp's Sweet Whispers is insanely good, especially with Horse Whispering. Good if the player uses it might work, maybe just Great, even if lacking in raw offensive power if there's more than one enemy. Also, Charm is easy to control in regards to AI, they use it on low-MP characters. So if you're a physical attacker you can use Horse Whisper and they'll give you free Hyper, and you can use MP Sprinkles or the Safe Spot (Not even the stat buffs from it but just making a Mii unable to be targeted by the Imp) to keep examples like healers safe. Tank is also great with Cautious because they can wait until the end of the turn for a powered up attack... When they're already usually going last. ...The Elf definitely goes in The Best. Sure, they can't revive, but they have solid magic AND physical damage, they can HALF all damage for a teammate for the rest of the battle (except for a part in the switch final boss that removes that buff) such as, you know, a Cleric, they have solid group healing, they're a top tier. 9:23 Dancing Arrow has 100% dance chance, though. It just doesn't work against strong enough enemies because balancing. 10:20 The WHAT? Thief is SUPER weak, they're a defensive class! You already rated Scientist, Scientist has so much more spread damage. POPSTAR has more spread damage with the Out Of Tunes! 10:25 Ultimate turns, single usage Princess is like Scientist but in return for some damage, they can lower the defense of multiple enemies, which makes their damage higher anyway... They're also one of two classes whose Horse Whispering gives the rest of the party the absolutely broken "Good Mood" status that powers them up a lot in offense, defense, and healing of HP/MP. Along with automatically using basically the same move that lowers defense of multiple opponents. The main issue with Princess is the lack of group damage early on, but Ultimate Royal Wave? Destruction. Great! tier. Cleric is Best because Giga Resurrection works 100% of the time and revives and heals for over half HP. It's insane. I'll @ you all I want, fiend. Flower's held back by the AI being especially incompetent and not healing half the time. Look, I get it, Cleric's so much better, Cleric's broken, yes. But on their own? Flower has good group damage with Hurricane, has a Revive unlike a certain bad healing class that you rated so high, and has reliable group healing and solo healing. But the main thing that gets Flower up to "Good only if the player uses it..." tier, 2 tiers up, is the Horse Whispering. Remember how Princess's was really good? Well, that recovered all MP. Fine, I guess, but ultimately it won't get you out of a jam. Flower? Revives and recovers all HP in exchange for not recovering MP and not lowering opponent's guard. You can revive 3 dead party members if you keep your protagonist alive while fully healing them and making them super powerful and defensive and also more able to heal your HP as well as anyone's MP. (Or anyone's HP for that matter in case they get hurt a lot.) Plus, Princess's guard lowering Horse Whispering isn't as useful with an Imp or a Princess (unavoidable) on the team because they have seperate skills for that anyway. Princess works really well with Horse Whispering Flower, actually, since they can heal your and their own MP by a lot in one turn and can have already lowered multiple opponent's guards. Also, Flower has good magic defense @_@ Cat does SO good. Along with working with Horse Whispering Flower, they just do so much damage. There's no reason not to have one, they just make things a breeze by doing 1998 damage to every enemy in one turn. 18:10 in what world are the MAJORITY of people choosing a boring ol' sword over a dress, a frying pan, and a stick? Popstar seems really common for people to choose for the first part. 18:14 forgot chef wh... VAMPIRE BEHIND THIEF!?! Also you just completely ignored Scorching Breath as a multi-target move. OK so, Thief's a solid defensive class, OK. Vampire makes people just not die, will get up on their own, and has great (but strangely acting) magic/physical damage. Vampire's great, one of the best.
"Energetic helps with giving other players more turns" ... What? No it doesn't The only things Energetic does is having a chance to survive a deadly blow with 1HP, cheer others on which gives them MP and the rather weak 3% chance of dealing slightly more damage from auto attacks while damaging yourself. Also it seems you're kinda uninformed when it comes to stats. For example, the Imp is the second tankiest magic class after Vampire. Or how the Elf's magic damage is actually pretty low, what makes the Elf good is the Barrier it can give to others. (it has naturally higher physical attack even iirc.)
Yeah being able the HALF the damage your whole team receives is invaluable, it's by far the BEST class to use with the mc as I dont think the ai uses forest agis much unless your low on hp
I'd say the Flower's underrated, I have one in my party and she's able to do over 500 damage with hurricane, granted she's laid back and unusually focused to do that, but still, that's 500+ damage to every enemy on the battle field. And the group healing is good, being able too heal 100+ health to me and my allies.
I’m on my second playthrough right now but on my first I was a warrior and I was cool (personality) the entire time. I think cool is better because you can protect your teamates and then when you’re getting attacked you can dodge attacks and then deal extra damage.
The princess job is pretty good. All of its magic attacks are really high power, Escort is a basically a free 20% dodge from physical attacks + friendship boost, Blindfold is like the acientist mask, And its other moves are good debuffs. 8/10 overall 🎀
Personalities that I would prefer- Warrior-Kind Can already tank hits really well for the team and can protect other members about to be hit. Mage-Cautious Hits even harder, protects itself with barrier and possibly heal with hidden HP bananas if it runs out. Cleric-Stubborn Tanks hits more often and strikes again for chip damage like you said. Thief-Air-headed Puts down enemy's guards and makes their normally meh attacks a bit stronger. Pop Star-Energetic Heals even more MP for big classes like Mage or Cleric and is a good combination with Cheer On, which doesn't heal too much MP. Chef-Laid-back Already tanks hits well so this makes it a tanky wall and a good offensive class with this. Cat-Stubborn Agreed with the damage output and getting another attack in but also because of its defences being boosted. Imp-Stubborn Correct for it being frail, but brace for impact would make it tanky and would act again for more magic damage. Scientist-Cautious Makes normal attacks or magic attacks boosted in power than it normally would considering Scientist is an all-rounded class. Tank-Kind Fully agree with this one. Princess-Cool Helps avoids attacks as it is quite frail at the beginning. Flower-Laid-back Deals more damage with its range or magic attacks.
Miitopia is one of my FAVOURITE games ever, i got it on the 3ds when it came out and i absolutely loved it, i played through the game multiple times, about like 9. I think Warrior Scientist and Cleric and Mage are the best classes.
I completely disagree, chef's feast is very unreliable. It's single target healing is alright his damage is also good. But the biggest problem is the quarrels they can make. AND THEY CANT EVEN REVIVE! Then the elf... Ok listen, as a npc, they are already strong. But as player controlled,. THEY ARE INSANE, you can shield your entire team for just 12 MP. 12! It's damage can be insane, hail of arrows can be so strong with the right amount of magic! Her healing might be a little bit underwhelming late game because it doesn't get a stronger variation, but it's still pretty strong. Let's also not forget you can PERMANENTLY stall a monster with dancing arrow! It has an 100% dancing chance no matter how strong! The ONLY exception is bosses, you can't stall them at all, but then you can still shield your entire team. I think a player controlled elf could be top 3, very close to scientist, but i don't really know which one is stronger. Sigh... Thief... Never thought i had to say this, but the only thing they are good for, is outspeeding rare boings. Their damage is good but not that great in comparison with some other abilities. Their skills are a little but underwhelming, especially when they are crowded. And that especially is their weakness, their main attack is multi target, but their abilities (kind of) not. You got the multi strike (i forgot name), but it hits limited targets. On top of that, his main attack decreases in damage! He also cannot assist during his attack from behind skill (i also forgot name (wow i really hate this job)). I would rate pop star over thief 100% Now for the princess, i DO agree scientist is much stronger then princess, but you really underrated princess. She can deal MASSIVE damage under the right circumstances and she has very good support abilities. The fact that she can completely avoid damage + getting more friendship makes her so much more insane, definitely "Great" tier deserved I completely agree on cleric, i just wanted to clarify that making a cleric stubborn also makes the "bluff" ability less of a issue, because stubborn Miis don't reject their own support
I'm putting the chef one tier down because he just annoys everyone everytime, no one can have a good relationship with him even if he's called papyrus and has a kind nature.
But Imp isn't squishy at all? It has good HP, Magic and Defense. All stats that have to do with bulk. Taking out Magic since that is also used for attack so it's only stats that are 100% bulk, Imp has either a better HP or defense stat than the following: Mage (both) Cleric (both) Thief (HP, but it's only a 5 point difference for defense) Pop Star (Defense) Chef (HP) Cat (both) Scientist (both) Tank (HP, though to be fair it is a small difference) Princess (both) Flower (Defense) Vampire (Defense) Elf (HP) Notice that the only job not mentioned here is Warrior, which has the 2nd best HP and 4th best defense. Speaking of placements, this is how Imp places in the three stats I mentioned, these may not be 100% accurate but it's at least close: HP - 5th Defense - 6th Magic - 4th That's all in the top half. Not to mention, in the magic category. Both Mage and Cleric are above it, both of which I've already established above have a worse HP and Defense stat than Imp, by a large margin too. So Imp is effectively the 2nd best at taking Magic attacks, only beating by Vampire. In fact, I would say that Imp is the 2nd or 3rd bulkiest class in the game. Vampire coming out as a clear top and it's a bit of a tossup between Imp and Warrior. Maybe Flower as well, but I'm thinking not.
Oops, my mistake. I must've misread Pop Star's HP and thought Warrior had more. And yes, Flower is pretty bad all things considered. It's only really good early since it gets its upgraded heal before level 10 but once Cleric and Chef get their better heals they outclass Flower in almost every way, the only real use it gets after that is being able to take hits but other jobs can do that and more. Not to mention that the Flower AI heals way less than it should, so that's another thing it has worse than the other healers
Bro tip for AI Tanks: Use Cautious. The extra MP candy lowers the maintenance costs if you have a good stash, the downside of preparation is a moot point that turns the trade off into a one sided buff, and I swear it causes them to use quarrel causing moves less but I can't confirm that one.
@Domenico gabriele😶😶 Sadly, AI and stats seem to agree with the general opinion; tho i guess depending on the team, it could be pretty useful. On the other hand, many main Elf, especially for boss battles. Did you have the right gear ?
Heres my list (please respect my opinion, and I am an OFFENSE BASED PERSON SO SOME WILL BE LOWER THEN OTHERS) 14. Flower When I used this post-game, it was so bad. Some of the jobs skills is good but it's not good as chef or cleric. I suggest you NOT USE IT IN YOUR PLAYTHROUGHS!!! I never played my 2 playthroughs with it, and I am glad. 13. Tank I have never used it in my playthroughs but I've seen it. It uses a lot of MP which is not my absolute thing. It ruins friendships too with human cannonball. Not my favourite, but not as bad as flower. 12. Princess I have never use this as much either. But it's probably the worst support class if I was honest. It's not my type of class tbh. But I really like how they are focused on MP Boosts and their attacks are okay. Not my thing 11.Chef I'm an offense type of person so I had to put this low. I like how the healing is good, I've used it, but for attacks, It's just flambe and spicy ass dishes to ruin friendships. It's a 50/50 10. Warrior It's not my type, but it's actually really good. I have used warriors but just not my type. I'm not the person who uses Warriors. Sorry😢 9.Vampire. I know this is a good class, but I don't use it as much. I don't use vampires even though their probably one of the best offense classes. Look I had to put this SOMEWHERE. 8.Thief I actually have a thief on my main team and it's really AMAZING! Some down sides are they just do the sneak attack even though I need them. It's probably one of the best supports in game. 7.Cleric A suggested job to use for your teammates. Absolutely amazing and is the best healer job in game. I use it. It's amazing that I had to put it in the top 7. But since I am an offense based person, this is the lowest of the top 7. 6. Mage My first job I've ever used. It's a really good job as an attacker and I love it. The downside is their low health and I sometimes die. Really good and it's recommended 5. Popstar I love this job. This is the 2ND best support job yet. It can get rid of arguements,distract enemies,and actually this job can revive people! This is a go-to go in the beginning of the game 4. Scientest One of the best magic users yet. I specialize this job and it's a recommended job. Amazing attacks as well and some good healing too. 3. Elf Best support in game. Amazing. A good mp booster and defense with Forest aegis. Like the magic attacks too 2. Cat Best Offense job in game. Nobody cant disagree. 1. Imp An imp? Why? Is good only if you carry a pop star with you, you can cause all the quarrels that you want abs deal massive amounts of damage in the meantime and it doesn't matter BC the pop star is gonna spam love and peace as early as it's their turn, the only thing it's do not start a quarrel with the popstar themselves as they cannot use love and peace on themselves which means you will have to deal with the quarrel the traditional way (joining them in a inn) which might be pretty annoying qng time consuming, otger thdn thdt, providing you can easily manage tge quarreks and chhise whi you want to havr them with, thr amounts of damage you hit are big, id say at warriors level
Imp only good if the player uses it? My 5 year old brain was carried most of the time by and AI imp, they had great damage and was really good on my team. I’ve never used it myself so I don’t know if performance is better with an actual person but the AI isn’t to be underestimated

trust me elf is way higher up. first of all dancing arrow is not too bad for an 8 mp attack that can stunlock enemies. enchanted arrows are decent, but hail of arrows is better all around as it hits more, does more damage for a cost of 5 mp more if im correct (enchanted=18,hail of arrows=23). none of the second page moves are bad for me. forest aegis is OP as it can reduce damage by half to ANY team member. forest blessing is good for boss rushes to conserve mp sprinkles, this helped me alot in tower of despair. and healing melody acts as a backup panacea as i have a cleric. easily the best job in miitopia
In my opinion, with the personalities, any healer should be stubborn as it’s good except from its “refuse healing” quirk, but obviously it can’t refuse healing from itself. Magical attackers should be laidback because it can save mp and do half damage but also use the same amount of mp for double damage. And any physical attacker should be energetic or cool, but that’s just my opinion
Honestly I'd put pop star in the best or at least good if players use it because late game, the love song can absolutely make things much easier. Love song makes all mii's have the same friendship level to you as the highest friendship level in that group.
I personally don't think there is an objectively best class in the game. Every class is strong in their own ways, yet some are stronger than others. Here's my personal list, and I'd love to have a debate if someone disagrees with me on it. (My pick for) The Best: Vampire Great: Chef, Mage, Warrior, cleric, scientist Only if player uses it, it's good: Cat, Elf, Tank, popstar, princess, imp Mediocre: Popstar Worst: Flower The reason Vampire is my pick for the best job is: JESUS CHRIST THAT MAGIC STAT JESUS CHRIST THAT ATTACK STAT JESUS CHRIST THAT DEFENCE STAT JESUS CHRIST WHENEVER PHSYICALLY ATTACKED IT DEALS HALF THE DAMAGE BACK JESUS CHRIST THEY CAN REVIVE AT RANDOM AT 1HP, IF USED CORRECTLY IT CAN STALL FOR AS MANY ROUNDS AS YOU NEED JESUS CHRIST THEY CAN DO THE SAMD TO OTHER TEAMMATES WITH ENTHRALL JESUS CHRIST THEIR MAIN ATTACK IS SPREAD SO THEIR GREAT FOR GRINDING JESUS CHRIST THEY CAN DO A (un)RELIABLE SMALL HEAL THAT DOES CHIP DAMAGE WHENEVER YOU NEED TO alright done

I don't think your opinion is invalid, but I disagree with this list. Here's what I think differently about: 1. The Elf. Easily goes in "The Best!", because it has target one, target all, heal all, and restoration/damage reduction moves. Forest Aegis is Mage's Barrier for low MP, Heal All is Panacea for low MP, Dancing Arrow is a guaranteed Stunner that works on all stunnable enemies, counter arrow is very useful, and Hail of Arrows is Giga Lightning for less than half the MP of the Mage. 2. The Thief. Yes, it gets decent damage on all enemies, but all in all, it's only good if the player uses them. Rock Rain and Whirlwind/Phantom Blades are RNG Based, and Trap & Giga Trap are all right, but cost a lot of MP. They're mid. 3. The Princess is actually pretty good, having MP-powered attacks that are very powerful and Escort & High Tea are versatile moves that don't fail you at a high level.
Cleric as laid-back is very good because they can do better with higher healing, I have a laid back cleric and it is a good combo with possibly revives. The only downside is that sometimes they do less healing which can be annoying but over all it’s very good
I thought i'd come back to see how well this video held up, I was very mean the first time I reacted to this. But now I'm just here to offer up some criticism. Not trying to force you to change your opinion or anything like that, you can enjoy this game in whatever way you want. So I think the first issue is the outline of the tier list itself. Putting player and ai jobs in the same tier list is not really fair. Horse whispering and skills are a big difference. So just making a tier for player good only is a bit odd. Because you could argue that job that's only good with the player is still better than a job that's good on both. So the most accurate move would have been making 2 tier lists or choosing to rank just player or just AI. I'm not gonna go in-depth with every job, even though it seems a lot of weird choices were made (no offense). I would just like to prove that Elf is better than scientist. Because you really downplayed it, unfortunately. Let's go over stats first. Scientist has better HP, MP, Magic, and speed. So that's a point for Scientist. Now it's time to go over skills. What does Scientist has over Elf? Scientist has a healing move that restores MP and HP at the same time, it has safety mask, it has absorb, and it has ignite. Cure.exe is great, and so is safety mask. But it's other advantages are not important. Absorb never happens. And ignite just buffs basic attack a little. It doesn't matter much in the grand scheme of things. So that's 3 advantages. Elf has a way to stun-lock enemies, skipping their turn. Elf can halve all damage for the whole team with a total of 12 mp. That's just the most broken skill in the game. Elf has an AOE heal, while Scientist can only heal one person. Not to mention Elf also has forest blessing. So that trumps Cure.exe. Counter arrow completely stops a basic attack, while scientist has a move that stops status effects. That's better I will admit, but forest aegis is just a way better skill than anything Scientist have. On top of the fact that it has many other ways to support the team that Scientist just doesn't really do as good. Black Hole is better damage but it also costs more MP to balance it out. Another big thing to note is that it can solo the Tower of Despair. You cannot do that with Scientist. Which is another point in it's favor. Scientist may be better for AI, but that doesn't mean it's better than Elf overall. No matter what Scientist does, player or AI. It cannot solo the towers like Elf can on player. Elf as the player is better than Scientist player and AI combined. That doesn't mean you have to use it, it just means it's the better job. You can like Scientist more, but it's not better. And that's okay.
elf is NOT overrated. forest aegis is the most broken ability ingame halving damage trivializes any boss in the game, elf has good enough mana replenishment and healing that you could solo dark sun with it on the 3ds
Well I have a tip for bad relationship in millTopia this solution is switch exclusive put both of mill You want to get better relationship in a room then give them outing tickets till they have a good relationship I’m pretty sure you can grind outing ticket by getting on the game and then closing it then getting on it again repeat
In my opinion, I would think Chef would be more higher than the Cleric. It’s probably because Maestro Cooking is more decent than Giga Panacea even though Chef is the only healing job to not have a skill to resurrect.
tank does not have the highest amount of HP flower and vampire has the most amount of HP on level 50 so it would be obvious the thief job is actually the worst job in miitopia because it has a very bad magic stats and you think flowers are the worst to job it's literally pretty good and I use the job and you destroy opinions on that
this tierlist is a crime: the essay. miitopia is a very easy jrpg to introduce children the wonderful world of jrpgs! its stat balancing is awful and nintendo doesn't know how to make good classes not completely outclass bad ones. but, that's not for me to judge. and while i understand not liking certain jobs, it's also very difficult to see from different points of view if you've played a lot of the game yourself. first off, let's start with flower. which is definitely the most overhated job while not really being deserved. while yes, the flower ai is complete garbage, that is the most of its flaws. generally, the flower is supposed to be really good early game that you replace it with your cleric, with the cost of its ai being unfathomably awful. constantly spams flower power when it learns it and it doesn't know how to use its own healing moves. however, if you're in control, it is the best healer in the game without a doubt, at least in the early game. it learns a revive move earlier than cleric and costs less mp, it learns its equivalent of mega cure at level 8, but most of all it can actually deal damage when it doesn't have any healing to do. it's genuinely a great job that got a bad rep for something that should've never happened in the first place. thief, ooooh how much thief deserves to be hated. while it's a very cool job in terms of style, it doesn't have much going for it. it's supposed to be an aoe attacking specialty but because of that, you just canNOT control anything with the thief and its gameplay feels like absolute garbage. the primary quirk of the other aoe basic attack users is that pop star is a support and shouldn't use it often, flower is a healer and should use it if aoe needs to be used, and vampire learns THREE DIFFERENT AOE ATTACKS, while still actually being really good. thief is meant to be fairly high damage but at that point, just use warrior spin slash or tank laser, they're both phenomenal options for aoe while also being physical beasts. i'm not done but remind me to come back and finish this i'm tired
I am a Laid-back Mage in my game. One of Laid-back's quirks does not activate if whoever has it is player-controlled. A well-buffed Laid-back Mage can reach the damage cap with one Tower of Flame if the circumstances are just right: 1) Best weapon (Legendary Wand) 2) Level 50 (level cap) 3) Buffed up Magic stat with food (idk how much, but say +50) 4) Unusually focused/Chirpy activates 5) Another party member has placed them in a good mood with either Praise or another method (buffing any attack) Hard to pull off, but it is glorious when it happens. An ex-friend said Laid-back is the worst. Said ex-friend has changed her tune regarding levelling up in one area in Greenhorne in the 4-year gap between 3DS Miitopia and Switch Miitopia, so I believe it would be a matter of time before praising Laid-back as one of the best, despite saying it was one of the worst before. Her indecisiveness, and many other reasons, as why we're no longer friends, to put it mildly. I get that Laid-back can be hit or miss, but really now? You're just gonna dismiss it before giving it a chance? Good on us for giving that personality a chance.
The princess has a lot of good attacks later on though, and imp is really good towards late-game

Sure, they can't revive, but they have solid magic AND physical damage, they can HALF all damage for a teammate for the rest of the battle (except for a part in the switch final boss that removes that buff) such as, you know, a Cleric, they have solid group healing, they're a top tier.

Princess is like Scientist but in return for some damage, they can lower the defense of multiple enemies, which makes their damage higher anyway... They're also one of two classes whose Horse Whispering gives the rest of the party the absolutely broken "Good Mood" status that powers them up a lot in offense, defense, and healing of HP/MP. Along with automatically using basically the same move that lowers defense of multiple opponents. The main issue with Princess is the lack of group damage early on, but Ultimate Royal Wave? Destruction. Great! tier.
Cleric is Best because Giga Resurrection works 100% of the time and revives and heals for over half HP. It's insane.
I'll @ you all I want, fiend. Flower's held back by the AI being especially incompetent and not healing half the time. Look, I get it, Cleric's so much better, Cleric's broken, yes. But on their own? Flower has good group damage with Hurricane, has a Revive unlike a certain bad healing class that you rated so high, and has reliable group healing and solo healing. But the main thing that gets Flower up to "Good only if the player uses it..." tier, 2 tiers up, is the Horse Whispering. Remember how Princess's was really good? Well, that recovered all MP. Fine, I guess, but ultimately it won't get you out of a jam. Flower? Revives and recovers all HP in exchange for not recovering MP and not lowering opponent's guard. You can revive 3 dead party members if you keep your protagonist alive while fully healing them and making them super powerful and defensive and also more able to heal your HP as well as anyone's MP. (Or anyone's HP for that matter in case they get hurt a lot.) Plus, Princess's guard lowering Horse Whispering isn't as useful with an Imp or a Princess (unavoidable) on the team because they have seperate skills for that anyway. Princess works really well with Horse Whispering Flower, actually, since they can heal your and their own MP by a lot in one turn and can have already lowered multiple opponent's guards. Also, Flower has good magic defense @_@
Cat does SO good. Along with working with Horse Whispering Flower, they just do so much damage. There's no reason not to have one, they just make things a breeze by doing 1998 damage to every enemy in one turn.

wh... VAMPIRE BEHIND THIEF!?! Also you just completely ignored Scorching Breath as a multi-target move. OK so, Thief's a solid defensive class, OK. Vampire makes people just not die, will get up on their own, and has great (but strangely acting) magic/physical damage. Vampire's great, one of the best.

I think the Cool personality fits the warrior more. It can dodge enemy attacks, increase their damage, and skip a negative status from an enemy.

The only things Energetic does is having a chance to survive a deadly blow with 1HP, cheer others on which gives them MP and the rather weak 3% chance of dealing slightly more damage from auto attacks while damaging yourself.
Also it seems you're kinda uninformed when it comes to stats. For example, the Imp is the second tankiest magic class after Vampire. Or how the Elf's magic damage is actually pretty low, what makes the Elf good is the Barrier it can give to others. (it has naturally higher physical attack even iirc.)
Energetic at least on switch gets the 3% chance of dealing slightly more damage from player or auto attacks while damaging your self

Yeah being able the HALF the damage your whole team receives is invaluable, it's by far the BEST class to use with the mc as I dont think the ai uses forest agis much unless your low on hp
I'd say the Flower's underrated, I have one in my party and she's able to do over 500 damage with hurricane, granted she's laid back and unusually focused to do that, but still, that's 500+ damage to every enemy on the battle field. And the group healing is good, being able too heal 100+ health to me and my allies.

I’m on my second playthrough right now but on my first I was a warrior and I was cool (personality) the entire time. I think cool is better because you can protect your teamates and then when you’re getting attacked you can dodge attacks and then deal extra damage.

The princess job is pretty good. All of its magic attacks are really high power, Escort is a basically a free 20% dodge from physical attacks + friendship boost, Blindfold is like the acientist mask, And its other moves are good debuffs. 8/10 overall 🎀
Personalities that I would prefer-
Warrior-Kind
Can already tank hits really well for the team and can protect other members about to be hit.
Mage-Cautious
Hits even harder, protects itself with barrier and possibly heal with hidden HP bananas if it runs out.
Cleric-Stubborn
Tanks hits more often and strikes again for chip damage like you said.
Thief-Air-headed
Puts down enemy's guards and makes their normally meh attacks a bit stronger.
Pop Star-Energetic
Heals even more MP for big classes like Mage or Cleric and is a good combination with Cheer On, which doesn't heal too much MP.
Chef-Laid-back
Already tanks hits well so this makes it a tanky wall and a good offensive class with this.
Cat-Stubborn
Agreed with the damage output and getting another attack in but also because of its defences being boosted.
Imp-Stubborn
Correct for it being frail, but brace for impact would make it tanky and would act again for more magic damage.
Scientist-Cautious
Makes normal attacks or magic attacks boosted in power than it normally would considering Scientist is an all-rounded class.
Tank-Kind
Fully agree with this one.
Princess-Cool
Helps avoids attacks as it is quite frail at the beginning.
Flower-Laid-back
Deals more damage with its range or magic attacks.

Miitopia is one of my FAVOURITE games ever, i got it on the 3ds when it came out and i absolutely loved it, i played through the game multiple times, about like 9.
I think Warrior Scientist and Cleric and Mage are the best classes.
I completely disagree, chef's feast is very unreliable. It's single target healing is alright his damage is also good. But the biggest problem is the quarrels they can make. AND THEY CANT EVEN REVIVE!
Then the elf... Ok listen, as a npc, they are already strong. But as player controlled,. THEY ARE INSANE, you can shield your entire team for just 12 MP. 12! It's damage can be insane, hail of arrows can be so strong with the right amount of magic! Her healing might be a little bit underwhelming late game because it doesn't get a stronger variation, but it's still pretty strong. Let's also not forget you can PERMANENTLY stall a monster with dancing arrow! It has an 100% dancing chance no matter how strong! The ONLY exception is bosses, you can't stall them at all, but then you can still shield your entire team. I think a player controlled elf could be top 3, very close to scientist, but i don't really know which one is stronger.
Sigh... Thief... Never thought i had to say this, but the only thing they are good for, is outspeeding rare boings. Their damage is good but not that great in comparison with some other abilities. Their skills are a little but underwhelming, especially when they are crowded. And that especially is their weakness, their main attack is multi target, but their abilities (kind of) not. You got the multi strike (i forgot name), but it hits limited targets. On top of that, his main attack decreases in damage! He also cannot assist during his attack from behind skill (i also forgot name (wow i really hate this job)). I would rate pop star over thief 100%
Now for the princess, i DO agree scientist is much stronger then princess, but you really underrated princess. She can deal MASSIVE damage under the right circumstances and she has very good support abilities. The fact that she can completely avoid damage + getting more friendship makes her so much more insane, definitely "Great" tier deserved

I'm putting the chef one tier down because he just annoys everyone everytime, no one can have a good relationship with him even if he's called papyrus and has a kind nature.
But Imp isn't squishy at all? It has good HP, Magic and Defense. All stats that have to do with bulk. Taking out Magic since that is also used for attack so it's only stats that are 100% bulk, Imp has either a better HP or defense stat than the following:
Mage (both)
Cleric (both)
Thief (HP, but it's only a 5 point difference for defense)
Pop Star (Defense)
Chef (HP)
Cat (both)
Scientist (both)
Tank (HP, though to be fair it is a small difference)
Princess (both)
Flower (Defense)
Vampire (Defense)
Elf (HP)
Notice that the only job not mentioned here is Warrior, which has the 2nd best HP and 4th best defense. Speaking of placements, this is how Imp places in the three stats I mentioned, these may not be 100% accurate but it's at least close:
HP - 5th
Defense - 6th
Magic - 4th
That's all in the top half. Not to mention, in the magic category. Both Mage and Cleric are above it, both of which I've already established above have a worse HP and Defense stat than Imp, by a large margin too. So Imp is effectively the 2nd best at taking Magic attacks, only beating by Vampire. In fact, I would say that Imp is the 2nd or 3rd bulkiest class in the game. Vampire coming out as a clear top and it's a bit of a tossup between Imp and Warrior. Maybe Flower as well, but I'm thinking not.

The thing about the warrior is actually inaccurate, the Warrior has the 3rd best hp, second being Pop Star, and First being Vampire.
Oops, my mistake. I must've misread Pop Star's HP and thought Warrior had more.
And yes, Flower is pretty bad all things considered. It's only really good early since it gets its upgraded heal before level 10 but once Cleric and Chef get their better heals they outclass Flower in almost every way, the only real use it gets after that is being able to take hits but other jobs can do that and more.
Not to mention that the Flower AI heals way less than it should, so that's another thing it has worse than the other healers
The flower's only good stat is hp, everything else is mediocre at best.
Mate vampire is the most well rounded characters in the game having a max hp of like.. 300 and absolute ridiculous defence
Bro tip for AI Tanks: Use Cautious. The extra MP candy lowers the maintenance costs if you have a good stash, the downside of preparation is a moot point that turns the trade off into a one sided buff, and I swear it causes them to use quarrel causing moves less but I can't confirm that one.

When I used this post-game, it was so bad. Some of the jobs skills is good but it's not good as chef or cleric. I suggest you NOT USE IT IN YOUR PLAYTHROUGHS!!! I never played my 2 playthroughs with it, and I am glad.
13. Tank
I have never used it in my playthroughs but I've seen it. It uses a lot of MP which is not my absolute thing. It ruins friendships too with human cannonball. Not my favourite, but not as bad as flower.
12. Princess
I have never use this as much either. But it's probably the worst support class if I was honest. It's not my type of class tbh. But I really like how they are focused on MP Boosts and their attacks are okay. Not my thing
11.Chef
I'm an offense type of person so I had to put this low. I like how the healing is good, I've used it, but for attacks, It's just flambe and spicy ass dishes to ruin friendships. It's a 50/50
10. Warrior
It's not my type, but it's actually really good. I have used warriors but just not my type. I'm not the person who uses Warriors. Sorry😢
9.Vampire.
I know this is a good class, but I don't use it as much. I don't use vampires even though their probably one of the best offense classes. Look I had to put this SOMEWHERE.
8.Thief
I actually have a thief on my main team and it's really AMAZING! Some down sides are they just do the sneak attack even though I need them. It's probably one of the best supports in game.
7.Cleric
A suggested job to use for your teammates. Absolutely amazing and is the best healer job in game. I use it. It's amazing that I had to put it in the top 7. But since I am an offense based person, this is the lowest of the top 7.
6. Mage
My first job I've ever used. It's a really good job as an attacker and I love it. The downside is their low health and I sometimes die. Really good and it's recommended
5. Popstar
I love this job. This is the 2ND best support job yet. It can get rid of arguements,distract enemies,and actually this job can revive people! This is a go-to go in the beginning of the game
4. Scientest
One of the best magic users yet. I specialize this job and it's a recommended job. Amazing attacks as well and some good healing too.
3. Elf
Best support in game. Amazing. A good mp booster and defense with Forest aegis. Like the magic attacks too
2. Cat
Best Offense job in game. Nobody cant disagree.
1. Imp

As someone that has a tank as my main I can say the tank is pretty bad but WHEN YOU HAVE THE PLAYER AS THE TANK it’s pretty good!
Is good only if you carry a pop star with you, you can cause all the quarrels that you want abs deal massive amounts of damage in the meantime and it doesn't matter BC the pop star is gonna spam love and peace as early as it's their turn, the only thing it's do not start a quarrel with the popstar themselves as they cannot use love and peace on themselves which means you will have to deal with the quarrel the traditional way (joining them in a inn) which might be pretty annoying qng time consuming, otger thdn thdt, providing you can easily manage tge quarreks and chhise whi you want to havr them with, thr amounts of damage you hit are big, id say at warriors level
Imp only good if the player uses it? My 5 year old brain was carried most of the time by and AI imp, they had great damage and was really good on my team. I’ve never used it myself so I don’t know if performance is better with an actual person but the AI isn’t to be underestimated

Warrior is thé best
trust me elf is way higher up. first of all dancing arrow is not too bad for an 8 mp attack that can stunlock enemies. enchanted arrows are decent, but hail of arrows is better all around as it hits more, does more damage for a cost of 5 mp more if im correct (enchanted=18,hail of arrows=23). none of the second page moves are bad for me. forest aegis is OP as it can reduce damage by half to ANY team member. forest blessing is good for boss rushes to conserve mp sprinkles, this helped me alot in tower of despair. and healing melody acts as a backup panacea as i have a cleric. easily the best job in miitopia
Plus, with horse whispering against a boss does literally up to 1200 damage.
In my opinion, with the personalities, any healer should be stubborn as it’s good except from its “refuse healing” quirk, but obviously it can’t refuse healing from itself. Magical attackers should be laidback because it can save mp and do half damage but also use the same amount of mp for double damage. And any physical attacker should be energetic or cool, but that’s just my opinion
Honestly I'd put pop star in the best or at least good if players use it because late game, the love song can absolutely make things much easier. Love song makes all mii's have the same friendship level to you as the highest friendship level in that group.

I don't think your opinion is invalid, but I disagree with this list. Here's what I think differently about:
1. The Elf. Easily goes in "The Best!", because it has target one, target all, heal all, and restoration/damage reduction moves. Forest Aegis is Mage's Barrier for low MP, Heal All is Panacea for low MP, Dancing Arrow is a guaranteed Stunner that works on all stunnable enemies, counter arrow is very useful, and Hail of Arrows is Giga Lightning for less than half the MP of the Mage.
2. The Thief. Yes, it gets decent damage on all enemies, but all in all, it's only good if the player uses them. Rock Rain and Whirlwind/Phantom Blades are RNG Based, and Trap & Giga Trap are all right, but cost a lot of MP. They're mid.
3. The Princess is actually pretty good, having MP-powered attacks that are very powerful and Escort & High Tea are versatile moves that don't fail you at a high level.

Cleric as laid-back is very good because they can do better with higher healing, I have a laid back cleric and it is a good combo with possibly revives. The only downside is that sometimes they do less healing which can be annoying but over all it’s very good

my personal setup is me scientist, cat vampire, and cleric
I thought i'd come back to see how well this video held up, I was very mean the first time I reacted to this. But now I'm just here to offer up some criticism. Not trying to force you to change your opinion or anything like that, you can enjoy this game in whatever way you want.
So I think the first issue is the outline of the tier list itself. Putting player and ai jobs in the same tier list is not really fair. Horse whispering and skills are a big difference. So just making a tier for player good only is a bit odd. Because you could argue that job that's only good with the player is still better than a job that's good on both. So the most accurate move would have been making 2 tier lists or choosing to rank just player or just AI.
I'm not gonna go in-depth with every job, even though it seems a lot of weird choices were made (no offense). I would just like to prove that Elf is better than scientist. Because you really downplayed it, unfortunately. Let's go over stats first. Scientist has better HP, MP, Magic, and speed. So that's a point for Scientist. Now it's time to go over skills. What does Scientist has over Elf? Scientist has a healing move that restores MP and HP at the same time, it has safety mask, it has absorb, and it has ignite. Cure.exe is great, and so is safety mask. But it's other advantages are not important. Absorb never happens. And ignite just buffs basic attack a little. It doesn't matter much in the grand scheme of things. So that's 3 advantages. Elf has a way to stun-lock enemies, skipping their turn. Elf can halve all damage for the whole team with a total of 12 mp. That's just the most broken skill in the game. Elf has an AOE heal, while Scientist can only heal one person. Not to mention Elf also has forest blessing. So that trumps Cure.exe. Counter arrow completely stops a basic attack, while scientist has a move that stops status effects. That's better I will admit, but forest aegis is just a way better skill than anything Scientist have. On top of the fact that it has many other ways to support the team that Scientist just doesn't really do as good. Black Hole is better damage but it also costs more MP to balance it out. Another big thing to note is that it can solo the Tower of Despair. You cannot do that with Scientist. Which is another point in it's favor. Scientist may be better for AI, but that doesn't mean it's better than Elf overall. No matter what Scientist does, player or AI. It cannot solo the towers like Elf can on player. Elf as the player is better than Scientist player and AI combined.
That doesn't mean you have to use it, it just means it's the better job. You can like Scientist more, but it's not better. And that's okay.

elf is NOT overrated. forest aegis is the most broken ability ingame halving damage trivializes any boss in the game, elf has good enough mana replenishment and healing that you could solo dark sun with it on the 3ds
And said shield NEVER DISPELS EVEN ON DEATH, the only way you can remove the forest barrier is Barrier sprinkles.

Yeah, I had to do that a lot when I used Tank. I still tried to keep outing tickets for relationship building.
In my opinion, I would think Chef would be more higher than the Cleric. It’s probably because Maestro Cooking is more decent than Giga Panacea even though Chef is the only healing job to not have a skill to resurrect.
That makes sense. Chief is supposed to be versatile, not something to undermine another class.

tank does not have the highest amount of HP flower and vampire has the most amount of HP on level 50 so it would be obvious
the thief job is actually the worst job in miitopia because it has a very bad magic stats

this tierlist is a crime: the essay.
miitopia is a very easy jrpg to introduce children the wonderful world of jrpgs! its stat balancing is awful and nintendo doesn't know how to make good classes not completely outclass bad ones. but, that's not for me to judge. and while i understand not liking certain jobs, it's also very difficult to see from different points of view if you've played a lot of the game yourself.
first off, let's start with flower. which is definitely the most overhated job while not really being deserved. while yes, the flower ai is complete garbage, that is the most of its flaws. generally, the flower is supposed to be really good early game that you replace it with your cleric, with the cost of its ai being unfathomably awful. constantly spams flower power when it learns it and it doesn't know how to use its own healing moves. however, if you're in control, it is the best healer in the game without a doubt, at least in the early game. it learns a revive move earlier than cleric and costs less mp, it learns its equivalent of mega cure at level 8, but most of all it can actually deal damage when it doesn't have any healing to do. it's genuinely a great job that got a bad rep for something that should've never happened in the first place.
thief, ooooh how much thief deserves to be hated. while it's a very cool job in terms of style, it doesn't have much going for it. it's supposed to be an aoe attacking specialty but because of that, you just canNOT control anything with the thief and its gameplay feels like absolute garbage. the primary quirk of the other aoe basic attack users is that pop star is a support and shouldn't use it often, flower is a healer and should use it if aoe needs to be used, and vampire learns THREE DIFFERENT AOE ATTACKS, while still actually being really good. thief is meant to be fairly high damage but at that point, just use warrior spin slash or tank laser, they're both phenomenal options for aoe while also being physical beasts.

I am a Laid-back Mage in my game. One of Laid-back's quirks does not activate if whoever has it is player-controlled.
A well-buffed Laid-back Mage can reach the damage cap with one Tower of Flame if the circumstances are just right:
1) Best weapon (Legendary Wand)
2) Level 50 (level cap)
3) Buffed up Magic stat with food (idk how much, but say +50)
4) Unusually focused/Chirpy activates
5) Another party member has placed them in a good mood with either Praise or another method (buffing any attack)
Hard to pull off, but it is glorious when it happens. An ex-friend said Laid-back is the worst. Said ex-friend has changed her tune regarding levelling up in one area in Greenhorne in the 4-year gap between 3DS Miitopia and Switch Miitopia, so I believe it would be a matter of time before praising Laid-back as one of the best, despite saying it was one of the worst before.
Her indecisiveness, and many other reasons, as why we're no longer friends, to put it mildly.
I get that Laid-back can be hit or miss, but really now? You're just gonna dismiss it before giving it a chance? Good on us for giving that personality a chance.
The mage is pretty useless without any MP
Most of the classes are and if you have a member who generates MP its not a major problem

Cool allows for dodging and weak spot attacks so I think so. I don't remember the downside to it though
