i have to agree here. i just got back in and my princess (who i put on my main team as i wanted to create a "story"), whom i was expecting great things from, totally threw for no reason. she was the second strongest on the team and the first one dead 💀
That and the chef. In your hands the chef is esentially an unstoppable beast that can tank anything and dish out an insane amount of damage for an offensive support class and keep your team alive easily. In the AI hands tho... oooooooh mama
I personally really like the princess but understand your criticisms. I never noticed the ai issue because I always play as the princess. It’s much easier when you can control the royal dance
i feel like the princess shouldve been higher because i had to change one of my party members jobs, a pop star, to a princess because pop star just wasnt cutting it and i saw HUGE improvements from said party member.
True cuz every job is good but the AI just butchers everything My Elf rarely uses forest Aegis or any multi hit attack and always goes for healing which sucks cuz I also bring cleric in my teams

Of course, personalities also come into play, with things like Stubborn Tanks making everyone hate them, and Cool Princesses being nearly immune to physical damage. There's technically 98 classes if you count each class and personality combination separately.
i do, but it doesnt heal in percentages and heals in plain numbers so when it's a higher level and can do the maestro it eventually wont heal as much as cleric would, and for feast it always takes an extra turn and panacea heals everyone in a turn
pop star as a player is a little cracked. encore + the safe spot is literally a 2 mp heal spell that heals 200+ hp and 50+ mp to an ally. and like you said, it has everything else it needs in its versatile kit. the horse whispering literally full heals, makes enemies dance, and HYPES UP YOUR TEAM. i have no clue why i see pop star in low tiers in some tier list
Pop star as a player is absolutely underrated (Encore alone is busted, and Love and Peace is incredible and totally unique) but it is pretty abysmal when the AI is in control. Be prepared for them to spam Love Song in minor battles, take their sweet time to use Love and Peace to end a quarrel, and just generally struggle to provide either the damage or the level of support that other classes can. It isn't the worst class, but its AI has notable problems that make people rate it low overall.
Actually you can get vampire mid game, not post! Given you did everything right. Basically your main character should be atleast level 19 or 20 then you have to progress through the eerie road jewel quest for the tower. Then if you have atleast one other quest done and over with before that, the vampire guest mii will appear and you can do the vampire quest.
Chef will always be my go-to Job. It does kinda suck not having a revive, but I feel it makes up for that with its pretty consistent early damage despite being another healer class (plus I just like food lol)
I always use the flower with my mii because my favorite pokemon type is grass. and Horse whispering with the flower is OP. Fully heals and revives everyone as well as making them happy
Your comment reminds me of the idea of having every character be a pokemon with the main character being ditto, the best pokemon for the flower role is sunflora
@@dropthehatantonycraft7516 I don't use legendaries for the party, I tend to use them for the other main characters, the three elf sisters for example are the lake trio whilst the genie is one of the forces of nature, besides: Ditto's gimmick is taking on different appearances whilst Mew's most well known for learning every TM
I think Princess would be a much better job on the AI if they spammed High Tea or cologne, since that's what I tended to do as the Princess. Tea is probably one of the best MP recovery moves in the game, especially since it builds relationships.
in my opinion, you should always have a princess OR a scientist on the team. because i chose those ones specifically, you can probably tell why, but i'll tell you anyway. blindfold and safety mask.
So. I've been playing this game since it came out for 3ds, I have done more than 10 playthroughs, and have a VERY vast knowledge of the game. I do agree on some things, but not on others. I'll drop my ranking and explanations (as the player controlling the jobs, not the AI!!). Note: I never use snacks, sprinklers nor the safe spot because I find the game to be more fun like that, so the rankings won't take those into account. 14. Thief: There are no bad jobs in the game. Except this one. I'm pretty sure there's 4 main classes in the game: Tank (Warrior, Tank, Vampire), Glass-Cannon (Mage, Cat, Scientist), Healer (Cleric, Chef, Flower) and Support (Pop-Star, Thief, Imp, Princess, Elf). For a Support, Thief is pretty horrible. It can set up the electric trap and the big electric trap, but it gets pretty underwhelming pretty quickly, and costs 1 turn. Then, it's quite fast, so maybe it could be an offensive Support... but it barely does decent damage compared to other jobs. It can take a lot of hits, but why would that even be useful when your Supporting capabilities are just trash? So, we've got a support job that can't support adequately, nor do proper damage. Stealing HP Bananas from enemies is the ONLY nish this job has. 13. Pop-Star: Sigh... this job is decent, but easily surpassed by others (mostly Princess). Pop-Stars are probably the most versatile Miis in the game. Problem comes when you do a ton of things, but in a very little scale. You can heal yourself (and your teammates with RNG)? Nice! Good luck getting 10HP for your teammates. Same story for MP. You can distract enemies indefinitely? Nice, good luck getting that first 30% chance when the Princess has a 70% chance. You can revive everyone? Nice, good luck getting that 50/50. Like the thief, it can also take hits, but it does very little damage. Only reason is higher is because Pop-Stars can actually be useful supports. Also, Encore is REALLY good, and the only real reason you want to use one. 12. Flower: In a nutshell, Flower is a Pop-Star that can heal. It doesn't get as many support skills, but enraging can be pretty nice, and Hurricane is VERY strong. Only reason it's not higher is because the Flower is quite limited, bot being able to do much more, on top of not being a very good healer (it heals very little even when highly invested in magic. Like what you said in the video, Cleric is the way to go for that reason. No 50/50 revival either). 11. Mage: Please don't burn me alive. In my experience, Mages are good, but have two major flaws. The first one and less important, is that they don't take hits at all. I said it's not that important because of Barrier, which helps with this weakness. Now, the other flaw singlehandedly made me put the Mage this low. It burns through MP SO QUICKLY. Normally, with MP candies, sprinklers and the Safe Spot that wouldn't be a problem. However, since that's not the case, running a Mage requieres a shit ton of support and it's not that viable. It hits like a truck, but that's not enough. It would be a different story if Mages didn't require of magic to actually function. Cat would be pretty low if it weren't for that 10. Chef: Chef (alongside with Imp) is my favourite job. They pack a punch, and resist a lot of attacks. Their healing is really decent, too. The two main problems are that it doesn't take magic hits well at all, which can't really be helped, and that in spite of being a healer, it can't revive. Not much more to say for this one 9: Princess: From here on out are the best jobs in the game. This has to be one of my favourite jobs to use, too. Princesses' support is amazing, especially Regal Dance. You can cheese pretty much every non-boss battle with that skill. Then, they have the perfume skill, which is broken. Being able to hit for double damage for some turns to enemies and bosses is broken. Best part is, for every ally supporting your Dance or your Parfume, it gains a 10% chance of hitting, and both have a 70% chance of hitting each foe individually. This makes it possible to basically win from turn 1 almost every time just by spamming Regal Dance. Princess has one of the worst resistances in the game, but being able to avoid attacks like the Thief makes up for it. At least someone makes a good use of it, right, Thief? :D Princesses also do a lot of damage, and can recover MP (although only a little, so not that good) 8. Cleric: The best healer in the game. It heals for a LOT of HP, can revive with 100% of accuracy, has a strong magic attack, and a nasty 50/50 1HKO move. Only disadvantage is low defense, which can be compensated with an Elf using Barriers, or any other Class that can revive, such as Warriors. 7. Tank: they're the worst Tank class in the game, and yet, they're up here. I feel like saying anything would be repeating what you said, because I would say the same things. Tanks can be monsters and lifesavers, you just have to level them up and have some patience. 6. Cat: Cats can dish the most amount of damage in 1 turn. They can also heal themselves, cure status for themselves, heal teammate's MP by a decent amount, and are surprisingly good at taking hits. Like the Mage, they BURN through MP, but this can be compensated by using their normal attack or some inferior skills. Difference is, Mages using Flare, no matter how boosted and supported, won't do much damage. Cats with their initial single target skill or basic attack, boosted by their first skill or some supporting teammates, can DESTROY enemies. This is what makes the Cat so good. 5: Scientist: for me, top 5 is the 5 best jobs in the game and by quite the margin. Scientists are just Mages but with a lot of support capabilities. They burn through MP relatively quickly, but they can self restore it. They also take hits poorly, but not as poorly as the Mage does, and can for once use their normal attack. It wont do tons of damage, but at least it does decent enough damage to be useful. Mages feel like they attack with a leaf or something with how physically weak they are 4. Warrior: Warrior is your typical RPG class. Basically what you said. Excellent offense, excellent defense, they have low MP but it doesn't burn thaaaat quickly, can slap disrupted teammates, and for a Tank, it surprisingly has a reviving move. ONLY downside is that they have low magic, resulting in weakness to magic attacks, but one weakness is nothing compared to every positive aspect. 3. Imp: By far the best starting class and my go-to most of the time. It doesn't have a single weakness. It can self-heal both HP (which can be further recovered if previously whispered) and MP. There's times where I've recovered all of my health using whisper + HP steal on a boss. Whispering is 100% accurate, although it only targets one foe. This, though, makes it ideal for bosses. It's magic attacks are not that amazing, but comboed with whisper can literally BREAK. Then, you can make your teammates HYPER, yes, HYPER with a skill, and force them to attack multiple times with the pitchfork. Imagine a team of Imp, Warrior, Cleric and Cat. Just make Warrior and Cat hyper, whisper into the boss, and start pinching them while the cleric heals any damage. You would think that with that broken synergy, Imps would have low resistance, but not at all, they have a TON of HP, and really good Magic and Defense, making for an extremely hard to kill class. Their only real flaw is their low attack, so they can't really normal attack, but forcing a stronger teammate to attack in your place when there's nothing better to do makes up for it. There's just nothing bad to this class, you just have to know how to exploit it properly. 2. Vampire: Broken. Can revive themselves, give that power to teammates, does insane magic damage, really good spread damage with normal attack, infinite thorns, Bite (which synergizes with Princess perfume or Imp whisper), takes hits INCREDIBLY good... they're the perfect class. If Imp had no weakness, Vampire creates those weaknesses for the foes. 1. Imp: fking broken pls ban. Honestly, pretty decent, but kinda underwhelming. Like Pop-Star, but with less versatility but much better effects. Decent damage output. Mid tier. Then you get the barrier ability (most broken in the game by far btw), counter arrow, and discover you can do the same thing that the Princess does cheesing enemies. Once an enemy (non-boss) gets hit by a dancing arrow, as long as you spam the move, the enemy will forever be dancing in an eternal loop of dancing agony. Not good against bosses, which makes the Princess better for that tactic, as they can hit every target, but oh well. Having an Elf on the party automatically halves the damage taken (Barrier), gives extra healing (I assume people are not that idiotic to not have a proper healer at least), and restores some MP, a very rare thing in the game. It only needs reviving. If Scientist, Warrior and Imp are A tier, and Vampire is S tier, Elf is DLC tier because it's so broken. Those are my thoughts as an expert Miitopia player. Also, English is not my native language, so for anyone reading this, which I doubt will happen, that's the reason I didn't use many skill names. I don't know how they're called in English and just guessing would confuse anyone, so sorry about that💀 Also, if you read till here, you have my most sincere appreciation. You are a true chad
Listen I love this, i have also been playing since the 3ds and done like 6-7 playthroughs altogether, and also do not use snacks or sprinkles. I think my biggest mistake with this ranking was taking AI into account and your ranking kinda had me realise that some jobs should have been ranked higher such as the princess I do actually agree with a lot you have said and i do appreciate you taking the time to write your list, the only thing i really disagree on is thief being last, Im not exactly sure if its fair to assume that the thief is a support role, like it definitely does tick all of the boxes of being support but it mainly supports itself rather than anyone else, I mainly ranked it higher up because it is very hard for it to get taken out, backflip, traps, and sneak attacks prevent it from getting hit other than that though I really love your list.
I actually love the Thief job, but I understand why you hate it. Personally, I like hitting more than one target. Running into battles with slimes can end on the first or second turn depending on how strong your Thief is. And its Horse Whispering move has a chance to steal food items as well.
As a Cleric Enjoyer, I find the flower slander a bit rude. The best way to think of flower is an offensive version of the cleric, they have great healing and the power to revive teammates, with the offensive capabilities and an AOE attack. Flower is definitely worse than allot of jobs but in no way is it worse than tank.
If you do see this comment though, you should make an follow up video explaining the best team layout for these jobs, and how to optimize their damage / what jobs to put on the AI
ATE THAT i should stop replying to everyone’s comments. i go on youtube for like a day every month lol i totally agree. idk what it’s called i think it’s an aoe attack idk what is stands for but when it hits all enemies, is just so useful. although bluster is crap hurricane is actually alright!!!! it is so fun to play as main character as it. i kinda feel like if chef is a 50/50 split of attacking and defence, flower is a 60/60 (i know that dosent make sense i hope u understand) it also deserves extra points for its cute little flower gear :3
the cat goes insane if you have a scientist on the same team to ignite weapons. ive gotten tons of kills from the cat using its basic attack and the scientist igniting its lil paws. good job Eminem the Cat.
Idk why ppl like popstar, I'm sorry but, all they do is, "love me" or one of those useless moves that just boost things that no one needs, if that's just for me, I'm just really unlucky.
My main team is Imp, Mage, Scientist, and Flower While in boss battles, my scientist goes out first, he is pretty good, same with my mage. I use the flower as my healer, and my job is the imp. I honestly agree with all of these rankings, the imp may be good, but some attacks aren’t too good compared to other jobs. And of course, if one of my team members gets sick, i use my Cat as a back up 😎 also the Elf job really is the best.
I personally have Elf as my Mii’s main job because my Mii’s personality is Laid-Back, and it can seriously help out when it comes to healing and major damage. The less damage shield can also be for all so I can agree that it’s one of the best jobs in Miitopia imo.
Overall pretty nice list. I’m a bit shocked to see the Cleric so low, considering how essential it can be for postgame areas as well as its really good AI (in my opinion, anyway).
When I’m grinding for money, my team contains some of your worst jobs. I bring my cleric, chef, pop star, and princess. The cleric is super high level with healing capabilities and good damage (aura and righteous anger). The chef is probably the most easily replaceable, but I like to bring him because he has great relationships with all the other miis. The pop star can end any arguments that the chef causes with spicy food (plus my princess happens to be stubborn and my cleric is kind, so they can both make people mad.). This way I don’t have to worry much about rearranging the rooms if an argument breaks out. As for the princess, they can replenish MP. Not only that, but my preferred grinding spot has twergulls, so they can protect the team from their teasing. Is it a perfect strategy? Maybe not, but it works for me.
popstar in my opinion is hands down the best for the player in my opinion. they're incredibly bulky, and play a more technical role rather than strictly offense, defense or support. popstar can literally play any role your party may be lacking at any point in any battle and has gotten me out of so many pinches. yeah its horrible for the ai, but i have to disagree with it being bad in any sense of the way
I used to think popstar wasn’t that good but just meh but when I used them with me as elf/tank, a scientist and a thief, it shined as it was able to allow me to always forest aegis or attack faster as tank, copy my 99 lvl relationship and revive anyone who goes down, granted it is inconsistent but they can survive with impressive defenses
Cat, Mage, Vampire, and Elf. Huh, 2 of my main 5 are in there(PopStar, Scientist, and Thief are my other 3 high lv Miis). The moment I found out Cats could self heal AND restore Ally MP i was always making it my Hero mii’s end game job
I just got Miitopia on my birthday and i originally wanted to give my main Mii (who's also an OC) a thief job at the start of the game but accidentaly picked chef instead and got frustrated about it, what's worse is that i'd had to restart the game for that (which is the only reset option) but that'd cost the fair amount of miis i got before playing. Now i mind it less because it helps my teammates get closer with her by feeding them. Besides, is there anything better than lending out a helping hand?
It isn’t compared to other jobs tho, lategame the tank is better but it’s outclassed by most other roles and requires a very specific team to facilitate and mitigate its quirks which is hard to set up and isn’t worth the investment when there are better roles. But the tank is still quite good if you know what ur doing and have the right set-up
i think princess should be higher it’s ai is alright and is good as main character flower should be higher. hurricane is powerful idc what anyone sais lol also mega flower bed does get all miis to full hp, ok the cleric CAN heal more but what is the point if it just overrides full health? i totally agree with chef tbh! it lacks a decent attack, that dosent cause quarrels tank is also good lols i like it a lot! i think it’s a good job but i still think it needs to do more damage lol, or more defence stat thief should be lower imo.. it does little to no damage and the fact it is the fastest job isn’t really a big deal in my opinion. speed dosent really effect gameplay tbh 😭 i loveee imp! i would also place it mid. charm is actually great. and demonic whisper is so op. wicked pitchforks can do iinsane damage if at the right moment idrk about cleric. it’s good but so boring like you said scientist opinion is valid but as playing in as main character it’s 5 skills get boring lolz. i usually don’t have a problem with its mp tho tbh pop star is agreeable angelic voice is amazing. it’s damage skills are bad though, and it’s ai is trashhhhh warrior is a good main character role. i cba to write anymore. i agree with the last ones cool vid
id swap chef with tank, cus it needs mp to attack at all and the ai is very likely to use the moves that cause quarrels which isnt ideal meanwhile chef is basically a more offensive claric, swapping the ability to revive for more offensive moves
Past the early game, the MP cost is trivial, and the quarrel mechanic is laughably unpunishing, especially with the switch version dumping outing tickets in bulk into your inventory
As much as I disagree with most of this video, I understand where you're coming from. For me my list is: 1:Mage 2:Princess 3:Cleric 4:Chef 5:Scientist 6:Pop Star 7:Vampire 8:Cat 9:Thief 10:Elf 11:Imp 12:Warrior 13:Tank 14:Flower I understand your points for Princess to me it's just the best supporting job to me. It basically has everything. A status block via Blindfold, an attack block via escort attacking moves via Royal and Double Royal Wave, AOE moves via Ultimate Royal Wave, supporting moves via Dance and Cologne and an MP heal via high tea. All of these come in handy and there's never a time when at least one of these won't help you. Chef, while yes, not having a revive, I don't think really needs one. Chef's basically a 3 in 1 job. It's a Cleric with it's healing moves, a Warrior via the attacking moves it has via Flambe and the Spicy dishes, and a Pop Star with the bulk ith has. And while it may seem hypocritical to bash Tank for annoying everyone on the team, Chef can't really be bashed for Spicy Dish since it can just be used on the same mii after it already became pissed since after that, it becomes a very powerful magic attack for 3 MP with BASICALLY NO DRAWBACK. As for Elf, I get why people always rank it at the very top, I simply do not see it. Yes, Forest Aegis is an incredible skill and Hail of Arrows is a pretty good AOE attack. Everything else is just Fab Fairy abilities or random nothing abilities. I feel like people simply just look at Forest Aegis and Hail or Arrow and automatically rank it as the best in the game, which isn't always true. For Vampire, I don't have much speaking room since I only ever got to around level 25 but I can see why it would be that good but I can't really speak that much for it since I don't really use it. For Cleric, I believe it should be higher for a reason you stated in the video. Without it, you whole team completely falls apart. It has the only guaranteed revive in the entire game with Giga Res. Calm might seem useless on the outside but in certain situations it is an absolute lifesaver.
elf is universally the best job in the game, this isn’t just a rare take its a pretty common consensus in the community. I agree with vampire but only because I think its a WORSE mage if anything, succeeding in idle play / grinding instead of damage output.

I swear the AI Clerics sometimes know when using Righteous Anger will kill, because I've seen the "Begone!" text show up followed by the enemy ceasing to exist wayyy more frequently than what seems like a simple 50/50.
My team is a mage(me) scientist a cat and a cleric for replace ment usually imp cause of relationships my mage is fully powered up with everything and same with everyone else. Ik this is random but all of my miis are friends but yeah oh and relatoonships are very high likecat max with one my horse lunar is at highest with the mage because horseplay
Here is my probably VERY controversial list. 14. Tank Yeah I can’t stand this one. The MP and speed are huge issues (mainly the MP though). The damage and defense is good, but man the AI I can’t stand. Always uses human cannonball and wild shot, but I hardly see it use things like Laser and Hot Shot. 13. Princess This one is fine I guess. It has some neat moves but so do most of the jobs in the game. Maybe there is a nice setup, but man I really can’t find a way to find this jobs full potential. 12. Flower I will admit, I loved this job on my first play through, but I gotta except the fact that it isn’t the best when I could use other jobs like cleric. This one is pretty fun though. 11. Scientist Another job I couldn’t really get attached to. It seems this is mainly a support job…but it has a lot of auto moves and a lack of MP which is probably an even worse issue than with the Tank. Although it has some pretty cool moves. 10. Thief I wish big booby trap could withstand multiple attacks 😞. Anyways, I gotta say this AI is either one of the best or worst in my battles. I don’t know why which is a big reason for it being #10 on my list. I do love it though and use it in a lot of my runs. 9. Chef Flambé is underrated, but it isn’t anything special. Anyways I actually like the balance between attack and healing moves. Monster Dinner (for me anyways) seems to hit often and it is the only way I defeat those Iron Generals at level 30-35 with a standard set of jobs. 8. Vampire TOO. MANY. AOE. ATTACKS. This is an infuriating job because you get nearly no useful moves for like 10 levels after the first AOE you get. They don’t even give a DOT or anything they just are all the same. Although I gotta admit it’s revival moves are very helpful. 7. Warrior Very helpful job for all stages of the game. Has great offensive and defensive moves early on. Gets several powerful moves in the middle, and strong moves and a revival move in the late game. Just a great all around job. 6. Imp Why is this job so high up my list? Well I love setting up insane attacks with this thing. Using sweet whispers and then butt jabbing a hyper warrior or cat is just amazing. You can also heal and gain MP a good amount without needing help from the AI, but these moves are really amplified with the AI. Also one of the more unique jobs in general. If you couldn’t tell this is my favorite job. 5. Pop Star Really solid job. This thing can make the TANK work of all things. Honestly isn’t a bad combo, but then you remember you could use this with warrior and cat and the enemies are in big trouble. Even Chef is helped somewhat because of the pop star’s ability to break up quarrels. Although the AI is worst the worst in the game, this thing is great with so many different jobs it is crazy. 4. Cleric Yeah this is the best healer in the game. Not to mention it has probably the best AI in game as well. I always use this job. No denying it’s overwhelming support and insanely powerful instakill. 3. Mage Very standard job, but it is really strong. It is like the warrior where it gets a lot of great moves in all stages of the game, but it is a balance of better and worse. A very notable thing is that they have no support except “sleep tight” which I didn’t even use until I decided I wanted to see it in action. Honestly the only down side of Mage. Everything else is really good. 2. Cat Similar to Mage, but has more attack and a few supporting moves to boot. You guys also watched the video right? The cat did like 8k damage TOO THE FINAL BOSS. 1. Elf Do I need to explain myself?
I think the problem with these Tierlists are the fluctuating performances between player and AI controlled. Cause no way AI controlled Pop Star is anywhere near 5, probably even bottom tier

If you don't want your miis to get mad at each other, don't pick tank since the first two skills, wild shot and human cannonball both cause miis to get mad at the tank
I dunno, chef is... actually quite good in my opinion. Healing wise it heals more than the cleric on average, it hits hard (5th highest attack stat), tanks like a mf and while yes, miis will get mad at you, spicy dinner does a METRIC F*CK TON of damage to single targets and can be helpful against multiple targets as well, also the healing can quickly get rid of the downside since miis that are mad at you will rapidly calm down. I see your point tho, chef is great if YOU are using it, for NPCs tho... eeeeh, not quite, it becomes unreliable in those jobs.
I know you said its your opinion so keep that in mind I understand your concerns with the Princess Job. And its not at all the best if given to AI, and may not have that good of defence, but your criticism to its magic stat only being useful for Royal wave is missing the fact that all Royal wave variants are the only attacking skills the princess learns, and they are really good magic moves. I feel like you did the princess job dirty. When your MP runs out, Sprinkles, candy, and the skill High Tea are all there to keep your MP high enough to continue using Royal wave. Regal dance and Eau de cologne are really great for debuffing the enemies to use Royal wave on, and for your allies to attack them and do more damage. and finally, Escort gives you a 20% chance of being rescued by a friend and taking 0 damage, it costs 0 MP, and acts almost like an extra personality trait. I’d say thats a pretty stacked job and I rate it 8/10 for MC, and 5/10 for AI Allies because they can be frustrating at times. But overall, it didn’t deserve to be trashed on like that and overlooked. But I understand that we all have different experiences with the jobs. My 2 worst job choices fit more atleast for me and my many experiences with them aswell as their overall abilities. 1. Popstar Distracting enemies, restoring friendships, Reviving and healing MP and HP, and multi attacking boomerang- like microphone are pretty good, the first skill you can actually use to attack with also unfortunately damages your friends. and the 2nd (also only other) attack is learned way later so you are stuck with very limited attacks and 100% NEED to rely on your (hopefully) much stronger allies to get the job done. The distracting, friendship restoring, healing skills are the only main pros this job really even has (plus the fashionable outfits). For MC I give this a 5/10. For AI Allies I give this a 2/10. could be better (way better) 2. Tank The tank, even though its very bulky and can deal good damage, relies way to heavily on its MP stat, and if it runs out, its basically useless. When you first get the job, you can only attack twice before your MP runs out at the default (No food boost) of 4 MP. It doesnt have an MP boosting move like the Imp or Princess, so you better hope you and your friends have MP candies, MP boosting moves from others, or sprinkles left over. its early attack skills hurt not only the enemy, but ALSO your friend’s health and friendships. Its really good later game though, but its really difficult early on. For MC use I give it a 4/10. for AI Allies I give it a 2/10. Its just meh. While these are opinions, its really true to how the jobs work. The Princess job deserved to be way higher on your tier list because Its Pros outweighed the cons by a longshot. But please dont take this to heart. I would also love to hear feedback replying to this comment from anyone to read your thoughts. Also if I sounded rude in any way, I deeply apologize ❤️
It's alright man, I like your thoughts as well, the thing with making a job tier list is that there is no real answer because all of them are pretty much excellent and flawed in their own way. As well as I should have talked more on AI on other jobs rather than the princess.

What I never understood about the healing items is that... well, you can literally just put the teammate in the safe spot on their turn for free, then take them out immediately. There's no downside. Maybe if you could use an item without using up your turn, they'd be valuable
Starting out my miitopia game, my starter team consisted of Chef (me), Warrior, Mage, and Popstar, and I ended up rolling with it up until the lategame, and I was doing pretty good. I even managed to take on the Tower of Dread. (Mind you this was on the 3DS release)

7:03 as someone who mains the scientist, MP has never been a problem to me, whenever it gets low I just use sprinkles, and I’ve never been in the situation where I need more and don’t have any more And I’ve never had any problems with dying as it either
Tank is funny because I think as AI it’s arguably the worst class in the game and inarguably the worst dps class in the game. But as the PLAYER it’s arguably the 2nd best dps class only behind vampire. Late game mp for normal attacks isn’t much of a problem and it always moving last can be a good thing if you have the right team set up. Plus it pairs EXTREMELY well with pop star(which imo is by far the best ai class) with it ending all quarrels and regening mp + buffing tank’s already absurd damage The imp and elf are the same thing to a lesser degree. Imp wants to spam charm and whisper (absolutely broken offensive skills) and elf wants to spam aegis (nothing needs to be said about that skill). The ai barely does these things-
I think the scientist mage and warrior is a bit too high. All of them are BROKEN early game but get power crept hard by other towers I find stronger later on (mainly talking about the stupid bat). They still serve their purpose but I prefer classes that still have noticeable places late game like cleric and ESPECIALLY popstar which I think is arguably the best class in the game (enemy debuff, quarrel cancel, teamwide damage buffs, aoe damage, ridiculous support buffs, encore, a self heal that leads to a team heal due to the ridiculous support buffs, team wide mp regen, and a revive for some stupid reason) none of this is as broken as forest aegis, but quite literally all of pop star’s skills are incredible at worst so unlike most of the supports in this game the ai can actually work with it

looking way too much into it not to say anything but thief + cool personality + warning (on any team member) basically gives thief 3 different ways to avoid attacks, and when its an AOE attack that it cant dodge it usually bounces back anyway.
Princess and Cleric being shafted here I 100% agree with, although to me Cleric would place at #3 and Princess at #2, both being the best in their specific job category: cleric for healers and princess for support. Scientist being Mage 2 I agree with as well, although I personally prefer mage over scientist, and vampire I can't comment on since I don't really use it.
how is cat, scientist, vampire and mage have worse movesets than princess, princess is literally "ohooho royal wave" while vampire literally has the power to be immortal, cat can do the highest damage in the game and mage can get great supporting moves + AOE + barrier. scientist is mage but a little worse, yes but its more unique than just blatently reusing other moves (im talking to you princess). cleric barley gets any good moves (instakill doesn't count because its not consistant) i do agree with princess being higher than tank and flower but no higher than 12th. there is no room for a princess on an optimal team because the best team would be elf, mage, cleric and vampire.
It's annoying being one of the people who brought the game back when it was new on the 3ds only for it to have that big update in later releases. Why can't I have the horse or the advanced mii creation makeup stuff? I've seen the crazy things people have made with that makeup feature and I'm jealous I can't make or download any of those miis... It isn't worth buying the game when I already have it but it kinda feels like the OG players all got scammed :')
i run mage, chef, scientist, warrior probably not as good as the traditional cat + cleric setup but chef and warrior are bulkier (i run scientist over elf because i don't want to grind elf levels on my main mii and i think CPU scientist is a smidge better than CPU elf)
Tank. All I have to say is, if you go for a no food run, then tank is the only Clas- er I mean Job, that can’t use their new skills when they unlock them… due to… a lack of max MP. A speed of 0 that never grows when you level up, it makes it even worse. Also, with some meh magic, and the fact magic attacks are common in the late game, it makes it all the worse. But hey, this is based on your opinions.

i have to agree here. i just got back in and my princess (who i put on my main team as i wanted to create a "story"), whom i was expecting great things from, totally threw for no reason. she was the second strongest on the team and the first one dead 💀
As someone who has an AI princess, they aren’t the worst. They are actually pretty good, my only complaint is that they use Ultimate Royal Wave more.

Of course, personalities also come into play, with things like Stubborn Tanks making everyone hate them, and Cool Princesses being nearly immune to physical damage. There's technically 98 classes if you count each class and personality combination separately.

i do, but it doesnt heal in percentages and heals in plain numbers so when it's a higher level and can do the maestro it eventually wont heal as much as cleric would, and for feast it always takes an extra turn and panacea heals everyone in a turn

pop star as a player is a little cracked. encore + the safe spot is literally a 2 mp heal spell that heals 200+ hp and 50+ mp to an ally. and like you said, it has everything else it needs in its versatile kit. the horse whispering literally full heals, makes enemies dance, and HYPES UP YOUR TEAM. i have no clue why i see pop star in low tiers in some tier list
Pop star as a player is absolutely underrated (Encore alone is busted, and Love and Peace is incredible and totally unique) but it is pretty abysmal when the AI is in control. Be prepared for them to spam Love Song in minor battles, take their sweet time to use Love and Peace to end a quarrel, and just generally struggle to provide either the damage or the level of support that other classes can. It isn't the worst class, but its AI has notable problems that make people rate it low overall.

Actually you can get vampire mid game, not post! Given you did everything right. Basically your main character should be atleast level 19 or 20 then you have to progress through the eerie road jewel quest for the tower. Then if you have atleast one other quest done and over with before that, the vampire guest mii will appear and you can do the vampire quest.

Princess is top tier not for teammates though, then it kinda sucks. Its a fantastic support also fun or at least to me anyways
I think Princess would be a much better job on the AI if they spammed High Tea or cologne, since that's what I tended to do as the Princess. Tea is probably one of the best MP recovery moves in the game, especially since it builds relationships.
in my opinion, you should always have a princess OR a scientist on the team. because i chose those ones specifically, you can probably tell why, but i'll tell you anyway. blindfold and safety mask.
So. I've been playing this game since it came out for 3ds, I have done more than 10 playthroughs, and have a VERY vast knowledge of the game. I do agree on some things, but not on others. I'll drop my ranking and explanations (as the player controlling the jobs, not the AI!!). Note: I never use snacks, sprinklers nor the safe spot because I find the game to be more fun like that, so the rankings won't take those into account.
14. Thief: There are no bad jobs in the game. Except this one. I'm pretty sure there's 4 main classes in the game: Tank (Warrior, Tank, Vampire), Glass-Cannon (Mage, Cat, Scientist), Healer (Cleric, Chef, Flower) and Support (Pop-Star, Thief, Imp, Princess, Elf). For a Support, Thief is pretty horrible. It can set up the electric trap and the big electric trap, but it gets pretty underwhelming pretty quickly, and costs 1 turn. Then, it's quite fast, so maybe it could be an offensive Support... but it barely does decent damage compared to other jobs. It can take a lot of hits, but why would that even be useful when your Supporting capabilities are just trash? So, we've got a support job that can't support adequately, nor do proper damage. Stealing HP Bananas from enemies is the ONLY nish this job has.
13. Pop-Star: Sigh... this job is decent, but easily surpassed by others (mostly Princess). Pop-Stars are probably the most versatile Miis in the game. Problem comes when you do a ton of things, but in a very little scale. You can heal yourself (and your teammates with RNG)? Nice! Good luck getting 10HP for your teammates. Same story for MP. You can distract enemies indefinitely? Nice, good luck getting that first 30% chance when the Princess has a 70% chance. You can revive everyone? Nice, good luck getting that 50/50. Like the thief, it can also take hits, but it does very little damage. Only reason is higher is because Pop-Stars can actually be useful supports. Also, Encore is REALLY good, and the only real reason you want to use one.
12. Flower: In a nutshell, Flower is a Pop-Star that can heal. It doesn't get as many support skills, but enraging can be pretty nice, and Hurricane is VERY strong. Only reason it's not higher is because the Flower is quite limited, bot being able to do much more, on top of not being a very good healer (it heals very little even when highly invested in magic. Like what you said in the video, Cleric is the way to go for that reason. No 50/50 revival either).
11. Mage: Please don't burn me alive. In my experience, Mages are good, but have two major flaws. The first one and less important, is that they don't take hits at all. I said it's not that important because of Barrier, which helps with this weakness. Now, the other flaw singlehandedly made me put the Mage this low. It burns through MP SO QUICKLY. Normally, with MP candies, sprinklers and the Safe Spot that wouldn't be a problem. However, since that's not the case, running a Mage requieres a shit ton of support and it's not that viable. It hits like a truck, but that's not enough. It would be a different story if Mages didn't require of magic to actually function. Cat would be pretty low if it weren't for that
10. Chef: Chef (alongside with Imp) is my favourite job. They pack a punch, and resist a lot of attacks. Their healing is really decent, too. The two main problems are that it doesn't take magic hits well at all, which can't really be helped, and that in spite of being a healer, it can't revive. Not much more to say for this one
9: Princess: From here on out are the best jobs in the game. This has to be one of my favourite jobs to use, too. Princesses' support is amazing, especially Regal Dance. You can cheese pretty much every non-boss battle with that skill. Then, they have the perfume skill, which is broken. Being able to hit for double damage for some turns to enemies and bosses is broken. Best part is, for every ally supporting your Dance or your Parfume, it gains a 10% chance of hitting, and both have a 70% chance of hitting each foe individually. This makes it possible to basically win from turn 1 almost every time just by spamming Regal Dance. Princess has one of the worst resistances in the game, but being able to avoid attacks like the Thief makes up for it. At least someone makes a good use of it, right, Thief? :D
Princesses also do a lot of damage, and can recover MP (although only a little, so not that good)
8. Cleric: The best healer in the game. It heals for a LOT of HP, can revive with 100% of accuracy, has a strong magic attack, and a nasty 50/50 1HKO move. Only disadvantage is low defense, which can be compensated with an Elf using Barriers, or any other Class that can revive, such as Warriors.
7. Tank: they're the worst Tank class in the game, and yet, they're up here. I feel like saying anything would be repeating what you said, because I would say the same things. Tanks can be monsters and lifesavers, you just have to level them up and have some patience.
6. Cat: Cats can dish the most amount of damage in 1 turn. They can also heal themselves, cure status for themselves, heal teammate's MP by a decent amount, and are surprisingly good at taking hits. Like the Mage, they BURN through MP, but this can be compensated by using their normal attack or some inferior skills. Difference is, Mages using Flare, no matter how boosted and supported, won't do much damage. Cats with their initial single target skill or basic attack, boosted by their first skill or some supporting teammates, can DESTROY enemies. This is what makes the Cat so good.
5: Scientist: for me, top 5 is the 5 best jobs in the game and by quite the margin. Scientists are just Mages but with a lot of support capabilities. They burn through MP relatively quickly, but they can self restore it. They also take hits poorly, but not as poorly as the Mage does, and can for once use their normal attack. It wont do tons of damage, but at least it does decent enough damage to be useful. Mages feel like they attack with a leaf or something with how physically weak they are
4. Warrior: Warrior is your typical RPG class. Basically what you said. Excellent offense, excellent defense, they have low MP but it doesn't burn thaaaat quickly, can slap disrupted teammates, and for a Tank, it surprisingly has a reviving move. ONLY downside is that they have low magic, resulting in weakness to magic attacks, but one weakness is nothing compared to every positive aspect.
3. Imp: By far the best starting class and my go-to most of the time. It doesn't have a single weakness. It can self-heal both HP (which can be further recovered if previously whispered) and MP. There's times where I've recovered all of my health using whisper + HP steal on a boss. Whispering is 100% accurate, although it only targets one foe. This, though, makes it ideal for bosses. It's magic attacks are not that amazing, but comboed with whisper can literally BREAK. Then, you can make your teammates HYPER, yes, HYPER with a skill, and force them to attack multiple times with the pitchfork. Imagine a team of Imp, Warrior, Cleric and Cat. Just make Warrior and Cat hyper, whisper into the boss, and start pinching them while the cleric heals any damage. You would think that with that broken synergy, Imps would have low resistance, but not at all, they have a TON of HP, and really good Magic and Defense, making for an extremely hard to kill class. Their only real flaw is their low attack, so they can't really normal attack, but forcing a stronger teammate to attack in your place when there's nothing better to do makes up for it. There's just nothing bad to this class, you just have to know how to exploit it properly.
2. Vampire: Broken. Can revive themselves, give that power to teammates, does insane magic damage, really good spread damage with normal attack, infinite thorns, Bite (which synergizes with Princess perfume or Imp whisper), takes hits INCREDIBLY good... they're the perfect class. If Imp had no weakness, Vampire creates those weaknesses for the foes.
1. Imp: fking broken pls ban. Honestly, pretty decent, but kinda underwhelming. Like Pop-Star, but with less versatility but much better effects. Decent damage output. Mid tier. Then you get the barrier ability (most broken in the game by far btw), counter arrow, and discover you can do the same thing that the Princess does cheesing enemies. Once an enemy (non-boss) gets hit by a dancing arrow, as long as you spam the move, the enemy will forever be dancing in an eternal loop of dancing agony. Not good against bosses, which makes the Princess better for that tactic, as they can hit every target, but oh well. Having an Elf on the party automatically halves the damage taken (Barrier), gives extra healing (I assume people are not that idiotic to not have a proper healer at least), and restores some MP, a very rare thing in the game. It only needs reviving. If Scientist, Warrior and Imp are A tier, and Vampire is S tier, Elf is DLC tier because it's so broken.
Those are my thoughts as an expert Miitopia player. Also, English is not my native language, so for anyone reading this, which I doubt will happen, that's the reason I didn't use many skill names. I don't know how they're called in English and just guessing would confuse anyone, so sorry about that💀

Listen I love this, i have also been playing since the 3ds and done like 6-7 playthroughs altogether, and also do not use snacks or sprinkles. I think my biggest mistake with this ranking was taking AI into account and your ranking kinda had me realise that some jobs should have been ranked higher such as the princess I do actually agree with a lot you have said and i do appreciate you taking the time to write your list, the only thing i really disagree on is thief being last, Im not exactly sure if its fair to assume that the thief is a support role, like it definitely does tick all of the boxes of being support but it mainly supports itself rather than anyone else, I mainly ranked it higher up because it is very hard for it to get taken out, backflip, traps, and sneak attacks prevent it from getting hit other than that though I really love your list.
I agree, one issue though, you misspelled "elf" as "imp"
I actually love the Thief job, but I understand why you hate it. Personally, I like hitting more than one target. Running into battles with slimes can end on the first or second turn depending on how strong your Thief is. And its Horse Whispering move has a chance to steal food items as well.
As a Cleric Enjoyer, I find the flower slander a bit rude.
The best way to think of flower is an offensive version of the cleric, they have great healing and the power to revive teammates, with the offensive capabilities and an AOE attack.
Flower is definitely worse than allot of jobs but in no way is it worse than tank.
If you do see this comment though, you should make an follow up video explaining the best team layout for these jobs, and how to optimize their damage / what jobs to put on the AI

i totally agree. idk what it’s called i think it’s an aoe attack idk what is stands for but when it hits all enemies, is just so useful. although bluster is crap hurricane is actually alright!!!! it is so fun to play as main character as it. i kinda feel like if chef is a 50/50 split of attacking and defence, flower is a 60/60 (i know that dosent make sense i hope u understand) it also deserves extra points for its cute little flower gear :3

My main team is Imp, Mage, Scientist, and Flower
While in boss battles, my scientist goes out first, he is pretty good, same with my mage. I use the flower as my healer, and my job is the imp. I honestly agree with all of these rankings, the imp may be good, but some attacks aren’t too good compared to other jobs.
And of course, if one of my team members gets sick, i use my Cat as a back up 😎

I personally have Elf as my Mii’s main job because my Mii’s personality is Laid-Back, and it can seriously help out when it comes to healing and major damage. The less damage shield can also be for all so I can agree that it’s one of the best jobs in Miitopia imo.

Overall pretty nice list. I’m a bit shocked to see the Cleric so low, considering how essential it can be for postgame areas as well as its really good AI (in my opinion, anyway).
When I’m grinding for money, my team contains some of your worst jobs.
I bring my cleric, chef, pop star, and princess. The cleric is super high level with healing capabilities and good damage (aura and righteous anger). The chef is probably the most easily replaceable, but I like to bring him because he has great relationships with all the other miis. The pop star can end any arguments that the chef causes with spicy food (plus my princess happens to be stubborn and my cleric is kind, so they can both make people mad.). This way I don’t have to worry much about rearranging the rooms if an argument breaks out.
As for the princess, they can replenish MP. Not only that, but my preferred grinding spot has twergulls, so they can protect the team from their teasing.
Is it a perfect strategy? Maybe not, but it works for me.
The worst part of mage is when the ai uses sleep tight when you have a cleric

popstar in my opinion is hands down the best for the player in my opinion. they're incredibly bulky, and play a more technical role rather than strictly offense, defense or support. popstar can literally play any role your party may be lacking at any point in any battle and has gotten me out of so many pinches. yeah its horrible for the ai, but i have to disagree with it being bad in any sense of the way

I have a funny chef story in like 2 turns I instantly killed the boss that gives you the elf charm I was dying of shock and laughter
I used to think popstar wasn’t that good but just meh but when I used them with me as elf/tank, a scientist and a thief, it shined as it was able to allow me to always forest aegis or attack faster as tank, copy my 99 lvl relationship and revive anyone who goes down, granted it is inconsistent but they can survive with impressive defenses
Cat, Mage, Vampire, and Elf. Huh, 2 of my main 5 are in there(PopStar, Scientist, and Thief are my other 3 high lv Miis). The moment I found out Cats could self heal AND restore Ally MP i was always making it my Hero mii’s end game job

I just got Miitopia on my birthday and i originally wanted to give my main Mii (who's also an OC) a thief job at the start of the game but accidentaly picked chef instead and got frustrated about it, what's worse is that i'd had to restart the game for that (which is the only reset option) but that'd cost the fair amount of miis i got before playing. Now i mind it less because it helps my teammates get closer with her by feeding them. Besides, is there anything better than lending out a helping hand?
if u use food to boost the tank's speed and mp, its actually kinda good
It isn’t compared to other jobs tho, lategame the tank is better but it’s outclassed by most other roles and requires a very specific team to facilitate and mitigate its quirks which is hard to set up and isn’t worth the investment when there are better roles. But the tank is still quite good if you know what ur doing and have the right set-up
and, im guessing you also need to actually be the one controlling the tank too...

id swap chef with tank, cus it needs mp to attack at all and the ai is very likely to use the moves that cause quarrels which isnt ideal
meanwhile chef is basically a more offensive claric, swapping the ability to revive for more offensive moves
Past the early game, the MP cost is trivial, and the quarrel mechanic is laughably unpunishing, especially with the switch version dumping outing tickets in bulk into your inventory

I understand your points for Princess to me it's just the best supporting job to me. It basically has everything. A status block via Blindfold, an attack block via escort attacking moves via Royal and Double Royal Wave, AOE moves via Ultimate Royal Wave, supporting moves via Dance and Cologne and an MP heal via high tea. All of these come in handy and there's never a time when at least one of these won't help you.
Chef, while yes, not having a revive, I don't think really needs one. Chef's basically a 3 in 1 job. It's a Cleric with it's healing moves, a Warrior via the attacking moves it has via Flambe and the Spicy dishes, and a Pop Star with the bulk ith has. And while it may seem hypocritical to bash Tank for annoying everyone on the team, Chef can't really be bashed for Spicy Dish since it can just be used on the same mii after it already became pissed since after that, it becomes a very powerful magic attack for 3 MP with BASICALLY NO DRAWBACK.
As for Elf, I get why people always rank it at the very top, I simply do not see it. Yes, Forest Aegis is an incredible skill and Hail of Arrows is a pretty good AOE attack. Everything else is just Fab Fairy abilities or random nothing abilities. I feel like people simply just look at Forest Aegis and Hail or Arrow and automatically rank it as the best in the game, which isn't always true.
For Vampire, I don't have much speaking room since I only ever got to around level 25 but I can see why it would be that good but I can't really speak that much for it since I don't really use it.
For Cleric, I believe it should be higher for a reason you stated in the video. Without it, you whole team completely falls apart. It has the only guaranteed revive in the entire game with Giga Res. Calm might seem useless on the outside but in certain situations it is an absolute lifesaver.

I agree with vampire but only because I think its a WORSE mage if anything, succeeding in idle play / grinding instead of damage output.

I swear the AI Clerics sometimes know when using Righteous Anger will kill, because I've seen the "Begone!" text show up followed by the enemy ceasing to exist wayyy more frequently than what seems like a simple 50/50.

Tank is personally my favorite job. It can be very effective if you know how to use Mp candy’s, and sprinkles!
My team is a mage(me) scientist a cat and a cleric for replace ment usually imp cause of relationships my mage is fully powered up with everything and same with everyone else. Ik this is random but all of my miis are friends but yeah oh and relatoonships are very high likecat max with one my horse lunar is at highest with the mage because horseplay
Here is my probably VERY controversial list.
14. Tank
Yeah I can’t stand this one. The MP and speed are huge issues (mainly the MP though). The damage and defense is good, but man the AI I can’t stand. Always uses human cannonball and wild shot, but I hardly see it use things like Laser and Hot Shot.
13. Princess
This one is fine I guess. It has some neat moves but so do most of the jobs in the game. Maybe there is a nice setup, but man I really can’t find a way to find this jobs full potential.
12. Flower
I will admit, I loved this job on my first play through, but I gotta except the fact that it isn’t the best when I could use other jobs like cleric. This one is pretty fun though.
11. Scientist
Another job I couldn’t really get attached to. It seems this is mainly a support job…but it has a lot of auto moves and a lack of MP which is probably an even worse issue than with the Tank. Although it has some pretty cool moves.
10. Thief
I wish big booby trap could withstand multiple attacks 😞. Anyways, I gotta say this AI is either one of the best or worst in my battles. I don’t know why which is a big reason for it being #10 on my list. I do love it though and use it in a lot of my runs.
9. Chef
Flambé is underrated, but it isn’t anything special. Anyways I actually like the balance between attack and healing moves. Monster Dinner (for me anyways) seems to hit often and it is the only way I defeat those Iron Generals at level 30-35 with a standard set of jobs.
8. Vampire
TOO. MANY. AOE. ATTACKS. This is an infuriating job because you get nearly no useful moves for like 10 levels after the first AOE you get. They don’t even give a DOT or anything they just are all the same. Although I gotta admit it’s revival moves are very helpful.
7. Warrior
Very helpful job for all stages of the game. Has great offensive and defensive moves early on. Gets several powerful moves in the middle, and strong moves and a revival move in the late game. Just a great all around job.
6. Imp
Why is this job so high up my list? Well I love setting up insane attacks with this thing. Using sweet whispers and then butt jabbing a hyper warrior or cat is just amazing. You can also heal and gain MP a good amount without needing help from the AI, but these moves are really amplified with the AI. Also one of the more unique jobs in general. If you couldn’t tell this is my favorite job.
5. Pop Star
Really solid job. This thing can make the TANK work of all things. Honestly isn’t a bad combo, but then you remember you could use this with warrior and cat and the enemies are in big trouble. Even Chef is helped somewhat because of the pop star’s ability to break up quarrels. Although the AI is worst the worst in the game, this thing is great with so many different jobs it is crazy.
4. Cleric
Yeah this is the best healer in the game. Not to mention it has probably the best AI in game as well. I always use this job. No denying it’s overwhelming support and insanely powerful instakill.
3. Mage
Very standard job, but it is really strong. It is like the warrior where it gets a lot of great moves in all stages of the game, but it is a balance of better and worse. A very notable thing is that they have no support except “sleep tight” which I didn’t even use until I decided I wanted to see it in action. Honestly the only down side of Mage. Everything else is really good.
2. Cat
Similar to Mage, but has more attack and a few supporting moves to boot. You guys also watched the video right? The cat did like 8k damage TOO THE FINAL BOSS.
1. Elf
Do I need to explain myself?
I think the problem with these Tierlists are the fluctuating performances between player and AI controlled. Cause no way AI controlled Pop Star is anywhere near 5, probably even bottom tier

If you don't want your miis to get mad at each other, don't pick tank since the first two skills, wild shot and human cannonball both cause miis to get mad at the tank
I dunno, chef is... actually quite good in my opinion.
Healing wise it heals more than the cleric on average, it hits hard (5th highest attack stat), tanks like a mf and while yes, miis will get mad at you, spicy dinner does a METRIC F*CK TON of damage to single targets and can be helpful against multiple targets as well, also the healing can quickly get rid of the downside since miis that are mad at you will rapidly calm down.
I see your point tho, chef is great if YOU are using it, for NPCs tho... eeeeh, not quite, it becomes unreliable in those jobs.

I understand your concerns with the Princess Job. And its not at all the best if given to AI, and may not have that good of defence, but your criticism to its magic stat only being useful for Royal wave is missing the fact that all Royal wave variants are the only attacking skills the princess learns, and they are really good magic moves. I feel like you did the princess job dirty. When your MP runs out, Sprinkles, candy, and the skill High Tea are all there to keep your MP high enough to continue using Royal wave. Regal dance and Eau de cologne are really great for debuffing the enemies to use Royal wave on, and for your allies to attack them and do more damage. and finally, Escort gives you a 20% chance of being rescued by a friend and taking 0 damage, it costs 0 MP, and acts almost like an extra personality trait. I’d say thats a pretty stacked job and I rate it 8/10 for MC, and 5/10 for AI Allies because they can be frustrating at times. But overall, it didn’t deserve to be trashed on like that and overlooked. But I understand that we all have different experiences with the jobs.
My 2 worst job choices fit more atleast for me and my many experiences with them aswell as their overall abilities.
1. Popstar
Distracting enemies, restoring friendships, Reviving and healing MP and HP, and multi attacking boomerang- like microphone are pretty good, the first skill you can actually use to attack with also unfortunately damages your friends. and the 2nd (also only other) attack is learned way later so you are stuck with very limited attacks and 100% NEED to rely on your (hopefully) much stronger allies to get the job done. The distracting, friendship restoring, healing skills are the only main pros this job really even has (plus the fashionable outfits). For MC I give this a 5/10. For AI Allies I give this a 2/10. could be better (way better)
2. Tank
The tank, even though its very bulky and can deal good damage, relies way to heavily on its MP stat, and if it runs out, its basically useless. When you first get the job, you can only attack twice before your MP runs out at the default (No food boost) of 4 MP. It doesnt have an MP boosting move like the Imp or Princess, so you better hope you and your friends have MP candies, MP boosting moves from others, or sprinkles left over. its early attack skills hurt not only the enemy, but ALSO your friend’s health and friendships. Its really good later game though, but its really difficult early on. For MC use I give it a 4/10. for AI Allies I give it a 2/10. Its just meh.
While these are opinions, its really true to how the jobs work. The Princess job deserved to be way higher on your tier list because Its Pros outweighed the cons by a longshot. But please dont take this to heart. I would also love to hear feedback replying to this comment from anyone to read your thoughts. Also if I sounded rude in any way, I deeply apologize ❤️
It's alright man, I like your thoughts as well, the thing with making a job tier list is that there is no real answer because all of them are pretty much excellent and flawed in their own way. As well as I should have talked more on AI on other jobs rather than the princess.

Here is something during the post game in the part where you get the dragon I had a cleric which was a toad from super Mario. In that the last two levels I encountered two dragons that the cleric killed in one shot

I 100% agree with the cat's ranking. When sharpen claws combos into hores whispering, as we see here, 8:53 THe damgae bonus is applied to EVERY SWIPE! They're gonna have to but the Boss Snurp back toghether... IN HELL!
EDIT/HOT TIP: Combo sharpen claws into frenzy sprinkles for a powerful attack that doesnt use much MP!

Sharpen claws can be combined with hyper sprinkles for a almost guaranteed one shot against not bosses mobs

What I never understood about the healing items is that... well, you can literally just put the teammate in the safe spot on their turn for free, then take them out immediately. There's no downside. Maybe if you could use an item without using up your turn, they'd be valuable

I like flower because of hurricane. Powerful boss? HURRICANE. Grinding XP for other miis? HURRICANE. A bunch of enemies? HURRICANE.
Starting out my miitopia game, my starter team consisted of Chef (me), Warrior, Mage, and Popstar, and I ended up rolling with it up until the lategame, and I was doing pretty good. I even managed to take on the Tower of Dread. (Mind you this was on the 3DS release)
Rlly?:) Mine started with me as a popstar,then mage ,theif and lastly a cleric but ended up going with changing my job to mage and the rest to scientist (the old mage) a cat and another person as a cleric, I haven't finished the game yet but I hope it works out

And I’ve never had any problems with dying as it either

Tank is funny because I think as AI it’s arguably the worst class in the game and inarguably the worst dps class in the game. But as the PLAYER it’s arguably the 2nd best dps class only behind vampire. Late game mp for normal attacks isn’t much of a problem and it always moving last can be a good thing if you have the right team set up. Plus it pairs EXTREMELY well with pop star(which imo is by far the best ai class) with it ending all quarrels and regening mp + buffing tank’s already absurd damage
The imp and elf are the same thing to a lesser degree. Imp wants to spam charm and whisper (absolutely broken offensive skills) and elf wants to spam aegis (nothing needs to be said about that skill). The ai barely does these things-
I think the scientist mage and warrior is a bit too high. All of them are BROKEN early game but get power crept hard by other towers I find stronger later on (mainly talking about the stupid bat).
They still serve their purpose but I prefer classes that still have noticeable places late game like cleric and ESPECIALLY popstar which I think is arguably the best class in the game
(enemy debuff, quarrel cancel, teamwide damage buffs, aoe damage, ridiculous support buffs, encore, a self heal that leads to a team heal due to the ridiculous support buffs, team wide mp regen, and a revive for some stupid reason) none of this is as broken as forest aegis, but quite literally all of pop star’s skills are incredible at worst so unlike most of the supports in this game the ai can actually work with it
Personally i really like warrior mainly because i like swords, but my usual class picks for myself are warrior, scientist, and tank

not to say anything but thief + cool personality + warning (on any team member) basically gives thief 3 different ways to avoid attacks, and when its an AOE attack that it cant dodge it usually bounces back anyway.
Princess and Cleric being shafted here I 100% agree with, although to me Cleric would place at #3 and Princess at #2, both being the best in their specific job category: cleric for healers and princess for support. Scientist being Mage 2 I agree with as well, although I personally prefer mage over scientist, and vampire I can't comment on since I don't really use it.

how is cat, scientist, vampire and mage have worse movesets than princess, princess is literally "ohooho royal wave" while vampire literally has the power to be immortal, cat can do the highest damage in the game and mage can get great supporting moves + AOE + barrier. scientist is mage but a little worse, yes but its more unique than just blatently reusing other moves (im talking to you princess). cleric barley gets any good moves (instakill doesn't count because its not consistant) i do agree with princess being higher than tank and flower but no higher than 12th. there is no room for a princess on an optimal team because the best team would be elf, mage, cleric and vampire.
It's annoying being one of the people who brought the game back when it was new on the 3ds only for it to have that big update in later releases.
Why can't I have the horse or the advanced mii creation makeup stuff? I've seen the crazy things people have made with that makeup feature and I'm jealous I can't make or download any of those miis...
It isn't worth buying the game when I already have it but it kinda feels like the OG players all got scammed :')

probably not as good as the traditional cat + cleric setup but chef and warrior are bulkier
(i run scientist over elf because i don't want to grind elf levels on my main mii and i think CPU scientist is a smidge better than CPU elf)

Tank. All I have to say is, if you go for a no food run, then tank is the only Clas- er I mean Job, that can’t use their new skills when they unlock them… due to… a lack of max MP. A speed of 0 that never grows when you level up, it makes it even worse. Also, with some meh magic, and the fact magic attacks are common in the late game, it makes it all the worse. But hey, this is based on your opinions.
