    Thanks for this. I bought an SB from World of Ukes almost a year ago on this recommendation and I completely love it. It is so tactile it just makes you want to play it. I agree about the tuners and might be looking into changing those sometime in the future, but they suffice. I've gigged with it and it's reliable and sturdy. Thanks again for this review it really helped me cut through some noise. Keep up the good work. All the best.

    Great review Barry. I live a few hours away from the Magic Fluke Company. I take a ride up to their factory once a year. Dale and Phyllis are great people. Love the sound. I will have to play it in person when I head up to the Fluke Company in a few weeks. Thanks again for a great review.

    I love the idea of an electric ukulele. I was considering the Enya feather but I think I might like this better ! Thank you for the review !

    Sitting in a car. Melting in the sun in Weston Super Mare waiting for the other half who wandered off and got lost and a notification for this video popped up; so thank you for saving me from boredom. lovely instrument and great review. Excited to be getting my Bonanza Oreo uke tomorrow. Baritone with MiSi pickups, in black walnut with Aspen stripe. walnut fretboard. mahogany neck. i had a little bird logo put on the headstock and musical note fret markers. So excited i won't sleep. thanking you for introducing me to them. 🤗

    That is a very interesting instrument. It looks like it would be so nice to play. I love the simplicity of it. I agree with you on the side dot issue COMPLETELY. In fact, that's my only gripe with Flukes. I think they are a tad overpriced. Although, with the MiSi, I think the price of this model is spot on. Thanks for another great review!

    I’m a amateur player and I work shifts and often would love to do quiet practice at odd hours. This is a wonderful option which I could save up for or I could get a Risa now. Which is best for me seeing as I’m a beginner? I already have a Yamaha THR10.

    • @GotAUkulele
      @GotAUkulele  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Karen Anne this and the Risa are completely different things though.

      GotAUkulele thank you. can you advise me please on a quality instrument that enables me to practice with and without amp. I work shifts and I am a beginner/novice that is able to practice quietly on occasion (shift worker/parent) and plug in and play other times .

    Although great honest review and very much appreciate (proof of honesty) calling out the ridiculous up charge on side dots (especially in the price range of thus uke). Those kinds of moves turn me away from manufacturers and reek of bad automotive manufacturing trim levels

    • @GotAUkulele

    Cheers Derek

    • @GotAUkulele

      No - even though it's active, it's not hot enough for headphones. You would need a headphone amplifier in the loop
