I was having issue with lower looper threading. I was putting it only thru bullseye hole...I will give it a try in morning! Thanks so much. Now looking for instructions to change needle. One broke off under tension.
Hi Charo, I'm sorry you're having difficulty seeing on the video. Unfortunately, I no longer have this machine so am unable to make another video. I do have a second video on TH-cam about threading this machine. Perhaps it will help you?
Janet Fernalld Hi Janet, Welcome to the wonderful world of serging! I only have one other video showing threading of the 905. One of the videos comments section has a little written instruction about rolled hemming. Maybe you’d find it helpful.
Samantha Sam There is a slow/fast selection on the side of the machine. It’s not going to slow as slow as a sewing machine. Circles and curves? Yes, they can be done, although the size of your circle and whether it’s a concave or convex curve, will determine if it’s an easy task.
Thanks for the video! The video is a little out of focus. It’s difficult for a beginner to know what an upper and lower looper is. Can you be more descriptive when you are at that point? I got through the basic colored marks threading but it is confusing when I can’t see through your have to see exactly where you are going. Please give more detailed.
Betty Wong Hi Betty, There’s a definite learning curve when it comes to successfully threading a serger. When I first started out, I put sticker labels up by the tension discs to label right and left needles, and lower and upper loopers. Once I did that, it was so much easier. Even now, some 15 yrs later, I sometimes need to stop and think which thread path is which. Don’t worry! You’ll get this figured out.
I'm having such a problem! I keep taking this machine in to be fixed and they tell me it needs to be threaded properly. They thread it and it works for a short time then unthreads itself. I try to thread it and I can't seem to. Do you have any suggestions?
You are the best in explaining this
Thank you so much

Thank you! I just wish it was a little more close-up so I could see it better, but it is great!
Hello! Just picked up a used 905. Never used a Serger before so your video has already helped me! Do you have other how to videos?

Speed control? Can it work very slowly? Is it good for serging circles and curves?

Estelle Stone Which of the threads is coming unthreaded?
We cannot see nothing please
Which needle gets threaded first?
Right needle first, then left needle. Threading sequence is 4-3-1-2
why did you wet your thread gross
