I purchased this machine in June of 2020 for my Birthday. Within 2 weeks the motor had overheated and locked up. Took it back and was given a brand new machine. Unfortunately with in 3 weeks of that date the machine air thread no longer worked. I took it back and they had it a week and still never really fixed the issue. The air threading is a hit and miss with this machine. I know air threading is a new concept, but I'm really disappointed in how this machine has functioned. My last Serger was purchased 26 years ago and is still working perfectly (with normal maintenance). I just wanted one with air thread because of my eyesight. I spent a lot of money to get a machine with air threading, and in my opinion it should work perfectly for more than a couple weeks. I would give it 4 stars our of 10. :(
I cannot find a price on this Serger. Can you suggest where I can get an idea of the price? I actually find little information other than this site, which is a bit concerning. Please advise.
I wish she could slow down her talking! She never paused not one time! We are trying to learn here! No way I can learn this fast! Whats the rush! Gish!
Up in the right corner of your youtube screen is a pull down menu where you can adjust the speed of any video faster or slower. I use it all the time...look for the theee dot symbol and decide on the speed you want...
I wish her hand was not blocking the needle and threading mechanics when she threads the right needle. And yes, she sure does talk fast. Slow down! We are trying to learn!
I am very thankful for all the instruction videos from Husqvarna for both the amber air and the epic 2. I would be lost without them.
I purchased this machine on 12/29/19 and was able to thread it on 12/30/19 with this EXTREMELY USEFUL video. Thank you very much Sara!
I see that an optional foot is available for "blind hemming". Could you demonstrate this in action.

Kaye, I paid around 1k but it was slightly used...I’d say around 1100-1200 ....that’s in SW Florida at a Viking dealership...
@@robinkinley6851 I just paid $2000 CAD. Brand new.
