Excellent upload; thank you. Hardly any other channels will be considering this one which is one of their best. BTW, my favourite Stones song is, 'Lady Jane'.
The stereo mix was briefly released on the early pressings of the original Hot Rocks CD. It was withdrawn along with the true stereo mix of "Satisfaction" at the insistence of Andrew Loog Oldham who didn't want his mixes released. But the Hot Rocks cd did suffer from a weird mastering job, where the songs were quickly faded in..You've done a nice job making this sound better!
Inigualable.
👌👍🤙🙌💪👊 🏆🥇🎯💎🎩👑 👏👏👏👏👏👏 🎧🔝 "It's All Over Now", "Time Is On My Side", "Heart Of Stone" and "Paint It Black" have been officially released in both mono and stereo mixes... But... 🤔 these were released in stereo at the time?
Hi there - how do you go about doing these remasters/mixes? I'd love to get into it myself, it's always been a great passion of mine. What programs/equipment do you use, and what should I do to get started? Thank you so much - these just sound incredible. EDIT: Any song off of Paul McCartney's Chaos and Creation would be a treat if possible. Thank you!!
Thanks for your comment, this is gonna be a long one. As I found out, it doesn't really matter what software you use, what matters is persistence. This will train your ears so you're able to hear which frequencies you want to turn up or down etc. You have to remember that not every remaster will turn out great sounding, but with each one you complete you get better at it. So I try to complete as many projects as possible just for practice. For every video on this channel, there are countless failed attempts that I haven't posted. For software you need an audio editor where you add plugins and where you spend most of your time. Audacity is sufficient for almost everything, and it's completely free. You also need an equalizer that you use to control the ratio of frequencies to each other. There are different types of equalizers, a good one to start with is the free TDR Nova, which will help you understand how different frequencies sound and visualize them. Then there are also compressors and limiters, but I won't bore you with that, there are countless tutorials on TH-cam for all these things, personally I can recommend the In The Mix channel. At last you need a video editing software, I use Davinci Resolve since it's free and quite capable. Hope this helps and good luck!
Most of the songs were only released as singles at the time (which were mono). The stereo mixes were made but weren't released anywhere. Stereo wasn't how people heard these songs at the time.
Sounds great in stereo.
"Play With Fire" is one of my five favorite songs by the Stones.
Wow this sounds absolutely amazing! I love what you’re doing such good work!
i remember being a little boy going to Catholic school when I heard this song and the rest. life is technicolor with a few pens😅
Sounds amazing in stereo! Thanks for the upload 👍
So evocative of swinging London
The best Stones' song.

Thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it.

Thanks for the info, corrected it.
The Japanese version has the fade in issue/The West German version does not.

@@three.dot.records Thank you so much! Do I need a video editing software if I don't intend on making youtube videos out of them?
As with LADY JANE, if you take away the singing you are left modern classical music which would have amazed even the he likes of Bach and Mozart!
Why don't The Rolling Stones release songs from 1964 to 1966 on Stereo?
Aftermath is 1966. But yes. 1965....

IMO the vocals on this remastered don’t sound as sinister as on the original
