Anthony, if Immigrants who have citizenship who came legally, let’s say 2nd or 3rd generation immigrants raised in their respective region, England, Ireland, Scotland and wales and adopt their respective culture and were Christians, let’s say Catholic or Protestant and not Anglican or Church of England.
Would that be enough for citizens to be deported?

I live in Australia. Our government is currently trying to pass a bill to prevent people from Iran, Iraq, Russia, South Sudan and Mozambican ever coming to Australia . This is because these countries refuse to take failed asylum seekers back. These are people that have served jail sentences for serious crimes. Desperate situations call desperate measures. Bottom line is surely any governments duty of care lies in protecting the people that elected it?
It’s time the definition of what constitutes a refugee was updated to reflect the many changes since its inception in 1951. It was initially meant for political asylum only but has been allowed to morph into much more and is being exploited by lawyers, some charity groups, people smugglers and the people that enter a country by irregular means. The west simply cannot accept that wants to come. And people are starting to rise up.

I remember until 1979, no one in the United States or Europe knew or wanted to know about Afghanistan. and when the USSR sent troops there at the request of the Afghan government, all the media in the United States and Europe were filled with news from there. how Soviet soldiers allegedly kill Afghans there. which was not true.
and remember last year. An earthquake occurred in Afghanistan. thousands of poor people in a poor province died. and no one in the USA or Europe wrote about them. and no one helped them. Notice they pick one of the rare women that come to the UK Where I live we have hotels full of migrants and they are all young men, why didn't they settle in some of the countries they passed through. The police have got their hands tied, they cannot detain them unless they can prove who they are. It should be on the migrant to prove who they are if not they should be detained, Build detention centres not give free hotel accommodation, food, clothing, and mobile phones.

Rwanda may work as deterrant for economic migrants. But for those from war zones, Rwanda is still better option.

As a Kenyan,I'd rather have them sent to their countries and not Rwanda.Kenya is close to Rwanda and we're always taking in refugees who refuse to go home.We might end up bearing the burden instead since Kenya is economically the strongest country in east and Central Africa. Many South African countries match Kenya but they aren't as close to Rwanda

If the thought of being sent on to Rwanda keeps them out of Britain, it speaks volumes as to why they target Britain in the first place . How many "safe" places do they travel though to get to Britain. Perhaps their "own" countries would be safer places if they had all stayed where they belong and fought to make it so.
