Congrats on having made this difficult decision and my deepest respect for pulling through with it.. or as my granddad said it: "You're never too old to do what makes you happy and change what doesn't; but how can something that makes so many people happy, be a bad thing." I'm not trying to overact, but when he said that to me, my jaw dropped so deep, I could've ladled up some of the earth core's magma and by the time it gets up, it turned into an obsidian ball. 😅 So my best wishes go out to you, may the treatment/transformation go well and stick, giving you back your happiness and making you feel better and better every day. 🌹

I remember my kid’s 1st match in the 9th grade. It wasn’t pretty. He was a chunky, clumsy kid… He ended up becoming the State D3 Heavyweight Champion in his senior year, going on to a good showing at all states too. He earned the 1st state championship in the school’s history. What an amazing ride it was. A lot of time spent in uncomfortable bleachers, waiting through hours and hours of matches to cheer him on. I couldn’t recommend any sport more highly for the personal development of kids.
I love that these young men are learning a sport, behaving well & having fun. It’s so important that kids learn early to respect eachother and I believe good sportsmanship is an excellent way to do that. Great job to the league and the parents and the young athletes! It also promotes concentration and taking things seriously while still being able to have fun. Awesome job! 👍👍
Finally, I have found a sport that I can watch. How long has it been since you watched any professional sport and saw the athlete smiling while they were competing. Smiling and actually enjoying what they were doing not worried about how they looked or showing off or making a name for themselves. This is just the best white in these 2 little guys go after it.
It's the smiles and the obvious enjoyment that these boys have that really gets me. We lose that as we get into High School and College. Thanks so much.
This will serve these kids so well throughout their youth. It teaches them early on not to see themselves victims. Self awareness and defense are a lifelong skill set. Bravo to the parents.
Every adult in this country should watch this video and take example of how to have fun and compete at the same time. Doesn't matter how good you are wrestling teaches pride and both these little ones are going to grow up with plenty of it. I miss this so much my little guy is 26 years old now finished his 6 years in the Marines and is now expecting his first child I hope I succeeded by bringing him up the great sport of wrestling.

As a former wrestler, I have to say it taught me so much about discipline and not giving up. It helped me to be a a starter for every game of rugby league as a young teenager (very small teenager). Continued playing the game years later as a 27 year old reserve grade player.
Rugby union for me. Started at 7. No health and safety in those days 🤣🤣🤣 But yeah it so important for kids to get into team sports teaches them so many skills not just the sport aspect. 💯💪
I wrestled in HS and raced dirt bikes after HS because all I ever saw in team sports since a little kid,--was a dictator coach and a bunch of workers jumping up and down. Discipline is for the self,--not the commune.

I guess I'll take what I can get in that regard and enjoy watching them growing up and doing the things they enjoy. She doesn't want anymore kids and is close to her mid-40s so I can understand that.
I am a high school wrestling referee who occasionally has the opportunity to officiate these little dudes. They are so darned cute! Sometimes I struggle between my duty to blow the whistle and just pinching their cute little cheeks! LOL. But seriously, it's so much fun and when they start out this young, they are darned good wrestlers by the time they hit double digits at 10 years old!

I don’t think I could handle either of these two boys! These little guys have some skills on the wrestling mat. You gotta love kids. Especially this age. Yeah, kids can cry, they can drive you crazy, they put a lot of demands on you, but when they tell you they love you they mean it, when they laugh it is never fake, when the have fun they really have fun, when they ask a question it is always sincere, and they bring a lot of joy into your life. These two boys look like they have some positive influences in their lives. Thank God for these two young boys and may they grow up to be good, strong men.

I wrestled in college so I felt it was my duty to coach and referee when my nephew started wrestling at about that age. He wasn't much better than these kids and had a blast coaching him. I'd actually get more nervous for his matches than I did for my own! He went on to have a pretty distinguished high school career. Loved it but refing the peewee was tough tho. To much aimless flopping around, but loved every minute of it!
Ah yes, that "aimless flopping around." I call it "spaghetti wrestling!" As an official, it makes it super important to hold giving points until control or change of control is actually proven.
I have been watching my grandson wrestle since he started wrestling at age 5. He is now 13 years old. He looked just like these 2 little fellows when he started. He has won several state championships. He is now so fierce and a great competitor. So proud of his dedication and commitment to wrestling since he first started as such a cutie pie like these little guys to the champ he’s become. 🤼♂️
these young men understand hip balance and performed some excellent sit outs.... these kids have learned the basics of escaping trouble very well. One kid really knew how to make space when he was in trouble.

It was also great to see their parents and officials working with them at such a young age to teach them how to develop good skills and sportsmanship. Kudos to them all!

I have no idea how this video ended up with me from the algorithm gods but I’m glad it did! It was awesome to see that they had a blast wrestling so young! It was also great to see their parents and officials working with them at such a young age to teach them how to develop good skills and sportsmanship. Kudos to them all!
My son started when he was five, eleven years ago. Best decision ever. Great conduct, straight A's, amazing health. Homerun!

I wouldn't title this as funny.....I would say this is seriously impressive! These kids already know what they are doing!
