Back a million years ago, lipstick was sold as 'mood lipstick', it was the same as that translucent pink you showed. Sometimes they even tinted it green lol, but it would always change to a berry stain ;)

I've always thought the same thing. I was saying in a previous comment how much I appreciate her love fo drugstore products. I find when other girl's channels start to grow, they lose their appreciation for the drugstore and it feels like they do a drugstore haul every now and then solely out of obligation and to not lose subscribers who can't afford, or simply love drugstore makeup. I love both but buying high end is a luxury that I can rarely afford , and some of my absolute favorite products come from the drugstore. I love seeing Emily's excitement over a good drugstore haul and especially when finding dupes. I love her channel. She dances to the beat of her own drum and i love her so much.😊

Iam a older woman, and in the past I have bought the high end cosmetics, and the low end, in my years I really have found out the cheaper cosmetics in a lot of cases are exactly the same as the higher end ones, Iam not stupid anymore, I buy the drugstore products now, LO'real, Revlon, etc, Elf, NYX love them... love your videos too !

Just actually got the blush palette in light, and the burnt peachy blush is close dupe to one of my favorite Mac blushes gingerly. Swatched them side by side, and the elf one is a tad more peach, while gingerly has a bit more brown but once on and blended look so so similar. For a quarter of the price. :) hope this was helpful to anyone.
Hi Emily i had an idea for a video were you could do a full face a if makeup but on one half do little tricks like curing your lashes and linimg your lips also baking your undereye and cleaning up the eye shadow just to show how those little thing we sometimes skip make a big differece i dont know if anyone would be intrested in seeing that but its just an idea

The elf contour kit is literally my holy grail contour product. I have several drugstore and high end contour products, and yet I reach for my elf one the most. Like sometimes I have to make myself use something else lol. Love it! When I use up everything else, I'm going to use the elf one exclusively.

I have the worlds dryest under eyes and I love the elf primer. My eye cream takes a while to soak in, so in the morning I use the elf primer because it soaks in really fast.

I love my elf mattifing balm, I apply it after my skincare has soaked in, and it keeps my very oily skin at bay for hours, I don't even need to blot or powder.

I really love my elf contour palette, works really well and they are smooth and blend so well. I also love the brushes, in fact their last three new brushes are terrific, and for the price, why pay more. bought the CVS version of the Cerave eye cream after you mentioned the latter in your review of Elf under eye primer. same ingredients, same size, similar package, but only $11.99 ~ pretty sure it's identical because it feels like a balm/cream hybrid and you can squeeze the teensiest bit out of the tube. so it's like a drugstore dupe of a more expensive drugstore product. i actually like the under eye primer for that wee bit of extra smoothness and the one i bought actually feels a little tacky when it sets.
What a great video! Now I really want to try out the Elf brush. I was so close to buying the Becca one when it was on Hautelook a few days ago, but I'm now glad that I didn't get it. I also loved the contour kit, the banana powder swatched beautifully.
Please do a video using all the ELF Palettes!! I saw that they have a foundation palette & a bronzing palette, and I haven't seen you use them but I think it would be cool if you used the foundation, bronzing, contour, & blush palettes! and who knows, maybe they will come out with a highlight palette since that seems to be where they are going ahah 😊😉
Another product you can try as a dupe for the Mally's Face Defender would be ELF's Transparent Matifying Powder. It is not a cream at all, it it is a very thin light nude colored powder. You do get more product than with Mally's in a swatch, but overall I love it and its always worked great when compared to my Mally's.

The Mad for Matte palette is very similar to the top row of the Lorac Pro palette! Also the Blush Gems highlighter reminds me of MAC Soft and Gentle.

I love the ELF Under Eye Primer. I know it makes a difference for me. It hydrates and helps my concealer look and stay better.
Eco Tools has a huge rectangular body kabuki brush too. Just used it on my neck and chest today to powder down my sunscreen - it's great!

Wow! I can't get over that contour kit! I have the Smashbox contour kit and your swatches were almost exactly the same😱 That's amazing! I've seen nothing but awesome reviews on the ELF brush too.

I really love my elf contour palette, works really well and they are smooth and blend so well. I also love the brushes, in fact their last three new brushes are terrific, and for the price, why pay more. They really have stepped up their game and I truly believe the best is wet to come :) Great video Emily!
bought the CVS version of the Cerave eye cream after you mentioned the latter in your review of Elf under eye primer. same ingredients, same size, similar package, but only $11.99 ~ pretty sure it's identical because it feels like a balm/cream hybrid and you can squeeze the teensiest bit out of the tube. so it's like a drugstore dupe of a more expensive drugstore product.
i actually like the under eye primer for that wee bit of extra smoothness and the one i bought actually feels a little tacky when it sets.
I am not sure if you have done the makeup forever ultra hd foundation review but I would love to see it from you.. 😊

What a great video! Now I really want to try out the Elf brush. I was so close to buying the Becca one when it was on Hautelook a few days ago, but I'm now glad that I didn't get it. I also loved the contour kit, the banana powder swatched beautifully.

Please do a video using all the ELF Palettes!! I saw that they have a foundation palette & a bronzing palette, and I haven't seen you use them but I think it would be cool if you used the foundation, bronzing, contour, & blush palettes! and who knows, maybe they will come out with a highlight palette since that seems to be where they are going ahah 😊😉
I don't think anyone will be able to duplicate Mally's Face Defender. It's such a unique product.
Kat Hamilton yeah it seems everything that comes out that's somewhat similar is just way too creamy & deposits too much product on the skin :(

Another product you can try as a dupe for the Mally's Face Defender would be ELF's Transparent Matifying Powder. It is not a cream at all, it it is a very thin light nude colored powder. You do get more product than with Mally's in a swatch, but overall I love it and its always worked great when compared to my Mally's.
