This is what I like to see. People actually learning the languages and showing it and not just making "content" in English. Zoe worked so hard good for her!
Arabic fushah is never spoken between people in the street but it is essential for everything other than communication like reading, writing, news, formal communication like in companies, just everything other than communication.. As Levant arabic dialect, we are proudly the most clear dialect in the Arab world, every arab can understand us but it is not vice-versa, we struggle to understand the west dialect (Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria) like we understand about 50% of it , however if you have a friend from there to talk with him in his dialect you will learn so fast, on the other side Egyptian dialect is 95% understandable to Syrians, thanks to Egyptian series which built the great basis of us understanding Egyptian dialect. Egyptian series and movies are used to be showed in the official TV in most of the Arab countries in the past, so it became very usual for us. Lebanese, jordanians, Palestinian dialects are very close to Syrian one, I would say they are the same unless they differ alittle in the sound spoken. Iraq dialect for Syrians is same as Egyptian, means 95% understandable, while the Arabian gulf accents also understandable about 80%. Sorry for all this details but this subject never been too simple!
Hi, I think the levantine and egyptian dialects are the widely understandable due to the media, and not because they are closer to the standard arabic (FuSha). For example, I am moroccan and I an understand all arabic dialects because of TV shows and arabic music that we acceed easily from Morocca as part of the Arab World, but I have friends that struggle with levantine dialects because they grew up in Europe and their only contact with arabic language was their Moroccan family and Moroccan channels and their Standard Arabic classes in Europe.
How about the Yemeni dialect? Which is closer to the standard Arabic more Yemeni or Levantine? I understood they two are quite close but Yemenis pronounce the sound jim/G as GA like Egyptians.
@@BlackSeedOil20 if we wanted to know exactly which dialect is the closest, we should compare the pronunciation of letters, words and the special phrases for each dialect to know how much it is close to standard one, basically yemeni pronunciation is very close to standard however still some letters exceptions that pronounced differently, which makes it harder to understand.
for me I can understand you pretty well and even enjoyed that. your Arabic sounds natural and flows well. I always have big respect for anyone learn Arabic because I know it's hard and painful. love you Zoe.

Wow girl!! I adore you too much 👍🏻👌 I'm an Iranian girl who love to learn different languages...🌍 I started to learn a bit of Arabic language in Syrian accent a couple of years ago but not seriously just for fun ... then I tried to have fun by learning Arabic in other accents such as Iraqi (my favourite) and Maghrebi .. I understood more than half of your conversation in this video without looking at subtitle!! even though I wasn't serious enough to leaening this language at all (unfortunately) ! i undrestood 60% of this video just beacause i did try to have a conversation with Arabic people and listening to Arabic songs once a while in last couple of years ... At the end my advice for who wants to seriously learn Arabic is to not jump from one accent to the other until learning one for good .. on the other hand you will get confused for good 😀😀 and Syrain accent is super sweet and easier than other accents at the same time ( very good choice to start Arabic with)💗
You're right. I think it's better to stick with one dialect, especially at the beginning. You can learn other dialects later when you're advanced. It would be a lot easier too.
im so glad to have found your video it can helps motivate my will to learn the syrian language. Im a filipino married to a syrian and currently residing in syria am having a hard time communicating since mostly of them didnt speak english..

This is so gorgeous hearing a non native speaker like yourself- truly languages unite the divide between races. In Arabic, my father use to say -a language is equivalent to the value of a man. As children we did not understand how rich it is to speak another language. Thank you
I had Syrians.. Lebanese in my Academy whose pronunciation of English with a heavy accent is admirable... that l envy.. for it demands attention... smile..l love my name Sheikh with the H well pronounced... making me feel like an Arab Sheikh... smile... Sheikh Al Hakim to the teachers.❤❤❤❤❤❤

Wow, thank you so much for this, and all the effort that goes into every one of your videos! Arabic is a language I plan to learn in the next few years and I'm so happy and thankful this video is here, it makes me want to start sooner if possible!
I’ve developed a lot of interest in Arabic from a linguistics standpoint because of the strong influence across languages (especially in word origins) and I’m just falling more and more in love with it the more I hear it. I want to find more connections to Arab speaking countries to really solidify a motivation to learn it since I know there are tricky elements
in my opinion always start with fusha then you can choose the dialect you want to learn, maybe you can,'t communicate with fusha with people but it's useful if you want to read anything you want in a store for exemple, or books...
It's really interesting to see the tone changes between Arabic and English when you speak as Arabic provides higher tone compared to the latter. Of course language is the mirror of a culture and that what makes it beautiful. سبحان الله انت ممتاز جدا

I also learn Arabic in school although it isn't the best, i still pick up a couple of words here and there. After Arabic, i wanna learn turkish then french. Currently i speak English bcs i was born in the UK and Somali bcs its my family speak it and i live in Somaliland now.
👏👏👏👏برافو عليكي يا زوي! بتحكي كتير منيح!
يعطيكي العافية حبيبت قلبي زوي شكرا لك على مساعدة الناس على تعلم لهجتي ولغتي العربية السورية
Ma'Sha'Allah this is amazing.
Please can you make more videos like this, but kindly speak slightly slower so that I can keep up and 'absorb' what you're saying.
Thank you.
I just discovered your channel Zoe, and I can't stop watching your videos.. thanx for your all efforts. You motivate me to improve my Arabic language💐💐
Her arabic is truly impressive 👏
انا ايضا لغتي الأم العربية وانا من سورية ولكن اتحدث ايضا اللغة الألمانية و القليل من الانجليزيه وأريد أيضا أن أتعلم اللغة الفرنسية واللغة الكورية . لذلك أنا معجبة حقا بقناتك وتحدثك با اللغة العربية 🤗🤍
My wife and I will be learning Arabic after I'm B2 in Spanish (maybe 1 more year). I'm already looking forward to it! I know it will be a big challenge, but I've always wanted to learn it!
Wow thank you so much! I'm conversant in MSA and this is actually quite easy to follow!
I just had my first class with Hala last weekend! I'm so happy to see her on your channel Zoe 😊💗
Your arabic is so beautiful!!!
I have the same feeling with my Syrian friends, they are like my sisters.
Mashalah you are doing great I'm teaching also Arabic
Wow girl!! I adore you too much 👍🏻👌
I'm an Iranian girl who love to learn different languages...🌍
I started to learn a bit of Arabic language in Syrian accent a couple of years ago but not seriously just for fun ... then I tried to have fun by learning Arabic in other accents such as Iraqi (my favourite) and Maghrebi ..
That gives me lot of encouragement!! Thanks for creating this video
im so glad to have found your video it can helps motivate my will to learn the syrian language. Im a filipino married to a syrian and currently residing in syria am having a hard time communicating since mostly of them didnt speak english..
Hello Zoe! I am from Morocco, and, bcz I speak ofc Arabic, I can tell u that ur accent is rlly well! Keep going dear😊👍💖
I actually need to listen more dialogue like this, what a nice opportunity to try my listing 🙏🏾🙏🏾.
Hi Zoe, you are a beautiful example for me. I have been learning levantine Arabic for 2 years but I have still a problem to understand. I can say a lot but the listening is still hard. Thanks in advance
.
both arabic and english captions r so helpful...
thanks zoe or zhu.. hhh....
I like your arabic accent a lot, this video really helps me thank youu😊
حقيقة انت تتحدثين بشكل ممتاز وبنية الجمل عندك في الغالب صحيحة لكن مشكلتك التي الاحظها هي اللفظ فقط .... تحياتي لك
شكرا كتير، رح يأخذ كمان وقت اذا بدي اللفظ 100% ان شاء الله
Thank you for considering Turks and adding Turkish subtitles.😊
كل الحب الك زوي :) مرحبا فيك بسوريا دائماً.
ما شاء الله عربيتك مضبوطة
This is so gorgeous hearing a non native speaker like yourself- truly languages unite the divide between races. In Arabic, my father use to say -a language is equivalent to the value of a man. As children we did not understand how rich it is to speak another language. Thank you
Hello zoe
Nice to see you again
Love your passion for learning languages
تؤبشيني محلاكي 😍😘
لهجتك السورية بتجنن💙
you speak arabic very well i hope i can learn it too😊
I had Syrians..
السوري ❤🇸🇾
تحياتي لك زوي.. أنت تتكلمين العامية السورية بشكل جيد ..
Thank you so much for this you always give me power and passion to progressive. I am from Algeria and i agree with that in Algeria and morroco is difficult your video always give me the power to continue learning langauges. 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖😘😘😘😘😘
Wow, thank you so much for this, and all the effort that goes into every one of your videos! Arabic is a language I plan to learn in the next few years and I'm so happy and thankful this video is here, it makes me want to start sooner if possible!
maybe you can start discovering a bit now😊
Ohhh another Zoe Language video 🤩 Loving the content!
شي حلو صيني يتكلم عربي ❤
Bravo Zoe, you speak good Levantine Arabic, thank you for your videos
This video was really helpful, thank you Zoe 😍
You are welcome dear
I’ve developed a lot of interest in Arabic from a linguistics standpoint because of the strong influence across languages (especially in word origins) and I’m just falling more and more in love with it the more I hear it. I want to find more connections to Arab speaking countries to really solidify a motivation to learn it since I know there are tricky elements
احسنت زوي انت بحكي عربي كتير منيح وانا مستعد للمساعدة في تمكين اللغة العربية لديك بقواعد وتبسيط مميز للغة العربية ان أردت
in my opinion always start with fusha then you can choose the dialect you want to learn, maybe you can,'t communicate with fusha with people but it's useful if you want to read anything you want in a store for exemple, or books...
Your Arabic is amazing!!
يا االله ما اعظمك وما اعظم حلمك
انا احبك جدا
أنا وداد من الجزائر وقد أحببت ما تقومين به ❤❤❤
ماشاء الله عليكي زوي
شاطرة كتير وحكيك للغة كتير حلو
ممكن تعمليلنا فيديو كيف بتنظمي يومك وايمت بتدرسي
يعني روتينك اليومي
It's really interesting to see the tone changes between Arabic and English when you speak as Arabic provides higher tone compared to the latter. Of course language is the mirror of a culture and that what makes it beautiful.
سبحان الله
انت ممتاز جدا
Wow shes actually so good in speaking arabic
ڤيديو جميل جداً...
أود مقابلتك عند قدومك لسوريا 💖

Zoe!你真的好棒!我在迪拜生活了好几年了,阿拉伯语还是最基本的问候,总想学起来,却一次次放弃,不能坚持下来,偶然看到你的视频,真的好佩服你的坚持和努力。
学语言没别的捷径,贵在坚持☺️
it's amazing. this content is what i need. thank you a lot!
Thanks Zo, you're the best 💙
