The following is a theory of mine: Velka sent Black Iron Tarkus and 3 Berenike Knights to Lordran for the sake of retrieving The Lifehunt Scythe from The Painted World, even if it meant killing Priscilla for it. I posted a theory before contending that Tarkus and another Knight fought her, but they were defeated and Tarkus was so weakened by the fight that the Painting Guardians finished him off when he fell out of the Painting. However, a potential reason for their fight with Priscilla didn't occur to me until now, and thus my theory is complete.
What a lovely and delightful channel to have shown up for me to click on and listen to. Best of luck to you! (For a moment, I thought Snape was narrating to me.) Sad but comforting to hear especially with what's going on personally for me right now. What a lovely voice. Thank you...
I've beaten DS, I've heard of the painted World. But I've never been there. I named by debut EP painted World because I thought it sounded cool. So here I am, finding out what the lore is all about
I believe, the Phalanx in the courtyard are the remains of Havel the rocks men after gwyn stopped the rebellion. The statue in the courtyard is the same one in undead parish. So it does have some sort of presence in lordran. But it is found under the drake that guards the bridge. (It could just be a reused asset due to the fact the painted world was the first area to be developed and was carried over as a mere decorative asset. It isn't hard to believe with fromsoftware doing this.) The phalanx despite their distorted figures are too uniform in combat at first glance in their starting position with hints at possible military training which sets them apart from other hollows. And their keen skill for hurling spears also stands out since this is a way to deal with dragons. With perhaps their previous gear stripped theyve found their weapons and shields in the painted world so the armour they wore before was most likely stripped by gwyn or lost during hollowing. But they still are banded together as comrades in arms. If the statue resembles Gwynevere, perhaps their defence is their inner nature to defend their Lords being drawn out. This does contradict their rebellion towards Gwyn but perhaps they still see Gwynevere as a victim of Seeth the Scaleless. And as flawed as my theory might be that is my theory nethertheless.
incredible videos you mannage to really capture the essence and the "day to day" life ofplaces u talk abt and i find myself revisiting these places like damn no really great job
