Thank you Copa 90. I made the journey from India to watch ‘il Capitano’ play one last time and the city accepted me with open arms. Every cafe, pub and street I went to, the people accepted me as of one of their own. A giallorosso for 20 years, watching Roma games through grainy streams to starting the AS Roma India Supporters Club, it’s been one hell of a ride. Roma is magic. Roma is life. 💛❤️ Sempre, Forza Roma!
Now I understand why Totti didn't leave Roma, the culture and the history of the city added with the club's rich history will make any guy stay, amazing work as usual
Respect to Roma fans. I understand how it feels when a club legend retires. I support Man United and we felt that many times over the years. Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs. Like Totti these were 1 club men who we adored. Sad day when a legend retires. Their last match really is like a funeral of sorts. Massive respect to any footballer who retires as a 1 club man. Used to be more common but with all the money now ruining the game in the 21st century such a dedicated individual is rare in football.
Also the fan culture instead changed. People support players more than their clubs these days which leads to football groupies rather than hardcore fans
I got into football late in my life. I hated it because as a child I was forced to play it by my father and grandfather. When I first saw Francesco Totti, I considered that my epiphany. I am lucky to be both Italian and Argentine. And to have witnessed the greatest player from both my parent countries. Totti and Messi. Roma isn't my first club. That's Barcelona. But it is the first club I supported. And the club that made me fall in love with football. It will always be in my heart. Forza La Maggica!

Historically Roma is the club of the city, since when it's born in 1927. It represents the city, with name, colours and symbols. 70, maybe 80% of the citizens in the city are Roma supporters. By the way, it's true that outside Rome people supports more Lazio than Roma.

Also in Genova there is a huge number difference between fans of Genoa and Sampdoria. The entire city supports Genoa.
