    Great idea! I bought the same one! I watched a video regarding this unit and the guy mounted some hooks and brackets so he could mount a rake and other items. Those come in handy.

    I would suggest inserting a small tarp. In the bottom of the cart, maybe some magnets wire tied to the edges to hold it in place, while the leaves are being blown around inside the cart..
    Then you can get the pack of leave to slide out better..

    Hello
    We have used our agri Fab for 2 fall seasons now and it was worth every penny.
    For years we would rake the leaves on our one acre property, and like you, I wish we had one years ago.
    Did a lot of research before purchasing and I decided on the agri fab because of it's mostly metal construction
    and have had an agri fab sweeper for over 20 years. (well made equipment)
    As for the clips that hold the rear door on we just stopped using them and have had no problems as the pins are always still protruding.
    We cut a 6" by 6" hole in the side near the top rear and installed a piece of plexiglas to see when the hopper is getting full.
    Great video
    Cheers from Ontario.

    Great video, I sell these - pro tip, we tell our customers to purchase the lower chute of the proper bagger system for their lawn mower, very easy for the end user in many ways. Keep up the on content, good stuff!

    Really liked your video---very thorough! I have over 160 trees shedding leaves on 5-acres and after 13 years of agony with the Agri-Fab I sold it and bought a used Trac Vac 580. WOW, Huge difference. So much so that I made a side-by-side comparison video. It's on my channel if you care to check it out.

      Thanks for the comment. Yes, unloading it when it's full is a challenge. I haven't devised a way to see how full it's getting while in use but am thinking on that. In the mean time, I now have a better idea how much I can pick up by area before that happens.

    The hose is made long so you can disconnect it from discharge chute at mower deck and use it as a vacuum up against house or fence or in between bushes except having to take it off and on might be a pain

    • @fredbehn9287
      @fredbehn9287 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for watching and your comment. I, too, suspected that the long hose was for the detached pickup with the adapter they sell. I'm reluctant to shorten it since I'm sure it will grow shorter on each end over time from wear at the attach points. I'm thinking about how to improve the suspension for now.

    Interesting. Different than the DR for sure. I would engineer up a better way to open the back. Seems odd you have pins that will get dropped and disappear in the leaves, then you're stuck. I would put the pins on lanyards at least.

    Just an observation. Loved the video. I would put some kind of chain or Stainless wire on those pins so that when you pull them out they stay on the cart and no risk of losing in the clippings. The hose also looks to be a little long and mabe there is a reason for that but in your present setup the curves in the hose slow the velocity through the hose thus creating the blockages. Otherwise a great video and nice not to have to rake or blow all those leaves. Trees are nice But????

    • @fredbehn9287
      @fredbehn9287 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for the comments! I, too, think the hose is a bit long but didn't want to alter it just yet until I find out why. Could be just to cover the bases on different setups. Great idea on the pins. They would be easier to pull and I'd know where they are,

    Just bought a like new 2008 Agri-Fab Mow-N-Vac and with the noise and ear protection hard to tell from sound when wagon is about full. How can one tell when about full so I don’t plug adapter and hose? I watched for vac to quit picking up leaves but it kept filling storage pushing back door out with only the two tarp straps holding exposed load in. Any suggestions much appreciated!Thanks

      @@newventurenewday i have had my cylone rake for 13 years and had
      to put a new impeller on it this year after several years the impeller will get brittle my cannister is rubber lined cloth .you can fill of the cannister when it gets full and leaves will come out of the side of the shoot.when full it has two tongues which lets you back it up with ease.The factory will give you a deck attachment that fits your deck and a vanguard motor that starts on first pull lol
