a lot of people may say daisy's voice is annoying, but i honestly think it gives her more personality and makes her a bit more different than peach. sure it may be loud but it fits her energetic, tomboyish brash style. her older voices just felt boring, soft and quiet like a stereotypical princess voice.

Daisy is a LOT more articulate than people give her credit for, and she certainly says more than just "Hi, I'm Daisy!"
Daisy needs more love. I understand that many know her "Hi I'm Daisy" line (I will admit, I know that line and also like saying it) but there is obviously more about her than just that line. For instance, she made her first appearance in Super Mario Land for the Gameboy. Princess Daisy is the damsel in distress from the land known as Sarasaland and the villain that kidnapped her is called Tatanga. Mario goes on this adventure to rescue her and free her kingdom from Tatanga and his followers. I can still go on about her history but that might make my comment bigger than it already is so I'm stopping here before it gets too long.

I'm not sure why they went the route they did with her. It seems like she was supposed to be this beautiful, clumsy, surprised, and soft spoken character. I could see what they were trying to do in Double Dash, but then all of a sudden she's this outspoken, sporty, free spirited princess.
But they still haven't given her a game? Maybe they're trying to build her image more?

Haena Kim That's because the Super Mario Land series of games was created by Nintendo R&D1, while the main series Mario games were made by Nintendo EAD. Daisy was property of a different developer. However, as of R&D1's merge with EAD in 2015, Daisy might start making appearances in the main series.
Double Dash was okay. After that, they completely screwed up.
Peach already fits pretty much that whole 'seems like' description. It's good they made a girl who isn't this sweet gentle weak little thing like the other girls in the Mario series.

Still wish she wasn't so under appreciated and appeared in more mainstream games. She will always be 100x more interesting than Peach. She strikes me as the type to do the rescuing or try to get out of kidnapping situations as opposed to waiting to be saved. I'm also still surprised she hasn't been added to Smash. I still feel she'd be a good fit.

I like the original dynamic of Peach vs. Daisy in earlier games. Where Peach is humble with her looks and ends up more intimidating with how easily she'll screw you over, Daisy is all about her cuteness and won't hesitate to proclaim it; Even if she's a bit clumsier, she was still adorkable with her arrogance and can still kick your ass.

Out of all of these, I would say the Mario Strikers series was where Daisy was at her "Daisy-est."
You could tell Deanna Mustard had an absolute blast voicing her in those games, and even stated it was her favorite role as Daisy.
