If you're going to make similar videos of small arms like this you going to show how tungsten core rounds would perform? Thought I remember a video of a tungsten core 9MM punching through a Lv III plate.
@@notachair4757 For a handgun round to perforate a polymer level 3 rifle plate, you need tungsten. But yeah a Libra snail and many other specialized rounds can penetrate 3A soft vests.
@Halal_Dan I mean, it was tested to pierce 5mm of HARDOX steel out of a pistol, I wouldn't be surprised if it could go through underbuilt lvl III UHMWPE body armor.
yeah bro, why? why did you put this music? why did i need to remember when i was 6 in my xbox360 playing lots and lots of minecraft, just being happy and more happy
If there's enough information available on it, the 15×115mm of the FN BRG-15 would be nice to see. It's effectively a superheavy machine gun - more than .50 BMG but less than 20mm.
Hey can you try l3 dropped from 7km by a lancaster moving at 300 km/h onto a panzer 4 h? Or atleast just an l3 falling onto the panzer 4 at about mach 1
Hey I was wondering if it is possible for someone like me(a hobbyist) to begin doing these kinds of simulations without attending acquiring a university degree. So far when I attempted to find resources on how to start doing ballistic simulations I have failed to find any resources aimed at beginners.
@simulationbros both steels have slightly different properties because hardox is not produced with armor in mind. and theoretically hardox 600 is harder than AR500
Request: hotdog made of tungsten at 950m/s vs panther upper front plate from 500m
My guess is partial penetration, similar to m36 Jackson 90mm
I request no more stupid ideas.
@ikoiko5311 You must be fun at parties
Literally asked for 30mm APDS vs panther
@TheApotheCarrot no no, i talking hotdog including bun, not just the weenie
let's simulate an inch lead bullet fired from musket against 3.5mm forged steel cuirass shoulderpad c:
thats a pretty cool idea ill try it out and if i can get some good materials, i will post it
That is a damm good flower.
That’s quite a toilet seat.
A sword/katana vs a bullet, you know what that's for!!
Request that isn't "throw funny stuff at wall huhug"
Do 50 bmg vs russian 50 cal to see the difference.
b-but the funnie
Ptrsd 14.5mm??? About 50. BMG(12.7mm) 18mm vs 30mm penetration (on mild steel 300BHN maybe?)
Bullet vs armoured toilet seat:
9mm against Katana blade? to address the myth
120m/s watermelon vs gunner's face

yeah buffman made a video like that, dm91 was the round
Alternative to tungsten:
The 9mm Libra Snail

Can you do a Merkava vs Tandem HEAT charge RPG simulation
Try the same vs. S1100QL grade steel.
Should be even better.
Pls do a simulation of a Mk82 bomb against Merkava belly armor.
Request: Coyote vs painted rock wall
when pz4 turret face vs us 105 he
That's a lot of damage

Please do jeri_v2578 suggestion of a tungsten hotdog vs panther....its awesome
perhaps
@simulationbros this has been 100% more successful than I'd planned, thank you
Concrete dm53 going mach 17 vs tiger front plate
What about this round at the NIJ test velocity (398m/s)?
Or a .357 magnum JSP round at 436m/s
Hl.Gr.39 against Kv-1 UPF (pz 4 HEAT)

We have a tutorial on this channel for making simulations the free license isn’t the best but it’s usable
@@simulationbros thanks!
@ just as a note our discord is prob more useful since we have learned a lot more since then.
Funny I just bought a new ar500 plate
What velocity?
use the fastest shape charge against challenger 2’s turret
Creeper vs Abraham
Подскажите как называется это приложение или сайт, или как это вы делаете
Ansys
@simulationbros спасибо большое
9mm va hardox 500-600 pls🥺
its going to be the same result as they are both the same hardness
@simulationbros both steels have slightly different properties because hardox is not produced with armor in mind. and theoretically hardox 600 is harder than AR500
It’s definitely harder than ar500 but I don’t see any interesting results coming from the sim it will probably be the same result
use an L3/33 traveling at 2000m/s against stalinium at the d point
FAB-5000 vs 1000 L3/33
First let’s go 💪
