I really like the club and special interest group displays; gives modellers a chance to display their work without having the stress of competing and being judged. Competitions where judges are using flashlights and magnifying glasses to look into a 1/72 cockpit...that's a bit much. I just like to see what others are building, how they display them and find out just what kinds of kits and accessories are available.
Wonderful show... amazing models. I am a 69yo model train fanatic... recently, a fellow said to me "Aren't you a bit too old to be playing with trains?"... I simply replied "If I every get that old, just shoot me". We all still have the kid we once were inside of us, it is good to let him out to play every now and then.
I only wish that I could have got there!! I’m into modelling shows, especially railway modelling. I’m currently running a Beattie Well Tank and an Adams Radial, each with a carriage or a GUV.
I’m in the process of changing the micro layout control system from DC to DCC and adding sound to the running locomotives. I’ve used DCC since 2012, when my daft cousin built me my first proper layout.
Just proves big shows can be put on now. Certain clubs and organizations have cancelled their shows due to the ongoing crisis as they say. Just proves what can be done. Well done to all involved.
Um....How about a 1/24 Sea Fury? Or one of those last-mark spitfire with counter rotating prop? Oh please make the finishing to the same standard as the🇯🇵ese Tamiya ....
Can anybody help please ? I''m looking for a model to make of a plane called the ' Warwick' used by 283 Sqdn. in Malta during WW2. Air Sea Rescue. Any help appreciated. Thks
Great show. Wouldnt be to impressed to be presented with a Commended award spelled Commeded for all the hard work done. This spelling mistake was seen on more than 1 item. Should do better.
That lovely FW190 diorama has a major flaw. Both ailerons pointed down. It's beyond me how issues like this are overlooked yet the rest of the detail and finish is sublime.
Airfixs Cromwell it's Academy isn't it? It's not accurate anyway what was quite unbelievable when we received them last year! Wheels with 6 nuts not 8 and no bolts on pistol ports etc quite a disappointing kit for us it was! Resin fixes have been made especially for the airfix Cromwell now we done our own resin wheels n turret walls aswell when it first came into the shop! Just to give modellers that option at the same time to fix it for a fiver!
Next time put a warning on the title requesting your audience to drink a few Red Bulls before watching this very boring video. You Brits sure can put one to sleep with this dribble.
Great to see all these expert level models. Thanks for posting!
This is one huge model show. Thank you for posting coverage of the event.
I wish I could have been there. Paramjit is a hero, I love his work.
Great to see everyone is free again.
Wow!…that Ghostbusters vehicle was amazing! I must really get to that show next year!
THATS DEFINITELY BEEN WORTH WATCHING THANKS MUCH APPRECIATED ☺.
I went for the first time this year. Loved every bit of it, now cant wait to go back. Hopefully taking some of my own builds next year.
Model show videos are never long enough. :-)
I agree!

Here's to 69 more years of railroading! 🍺🍺🍺
Absolutely.....Full steam ahead!...🚂🚃🚃🚃
We never grow up. Life is just too short. Love every minute of being a model train fanatic.

Really enjoyed!!!!! 👍👍👍
Wonderfest, JAX-CON and the IPMS Nats are all dreams at this point and all my friends went north, lucky them!

Wow what can you say brilliant!!
What an amazing collection fantastic video
Hmm, I was trying to get my partner enthused and her only response was, "Spot the female". But then, after about 20 minutes, we saw some. . . . Ha!
Come on Airfix and all you Manufacturers out there, give us a 1/48 Fairy Gannet with Wingfield please. A iconic British Aircraft PLEASE

I was lead to believe that face masks were mandatory at this event ? Didn’t see many people in this video wearing one. !
I’m more into planes than boats, and I’m more into cars and trains!!

*Too impressed

It could be under maintenance and they are testing?
Show👏👏👏👏
guy with the lancaster made one little forgivable slip...........the radar was a H2S.......not a HS2 which is a white elephant train lol
whell that nuts whay to mutch show but fun as all hell
Koolest 👍🚂
Looks like 90%+ Warmachines.
There is no way I am paying for the privilege of being allowed to buy a ticket. Ticket price ok, no to a booking fee, what a load of rubbish.

Wish I'd gone.
Seemed to be too much a publicity vehicle for Airfix! Very disappointing.
Airfix wern't there officially :)

Will do, other caffeine supplements are available. 😊
