Miniart are a great model company, very detailed. The quality is very good. They made stuff that other companies won't touch. I personally love their kits.
Andy's Hobby Store has come a long way. Did you ever think back in day that you would be roaming around your warehouse and having international sales? You did good.
Andy. Was great to meet you last Thursday. Was the highlight of my golf trip to Arizona from 🇨🇦 Canada. I just wish I could have stayed 2 hours and not 20 minutes! Thanks for taking the time to talk with me and take a picture. Will mail you those goodies I forgot to bring for you. Take care and keep up the great work! Can’t wait to visit you again. Bernie 🇨🇦
The only problem with the Min-Art kits is... there's too many I'd like to do and not enough money and time for me to do them. Oh, the pain of being selective. That said, the ones I have are great and can't recommend them enough!
@@blank557 I too am tending to go that way for the same reasons as well, more detail than 1/76 without the size of 1/35, fortunately models are becoming available, everything in life is a compromise.
I used a lot of Mini-Art dio accessories to create a Soviet field hospital, a gift for a friend from Lithuania, a surgeon who'd served in the Soviet Army late in the Cold War. He migrated to America as soon as the USSR fell. These accessories sets are neat!
Andy, I really love the way you show us round the warehouse, almost like we're shareholders. It's this inclusiveness and enthusiasm that makes you my favourite YT channel. Keep it up! :) I'm also a big MiniArt fan! They have such a great range!
Wow Andy, lots of goodies there😯 Miniart have such a fantastic range of kits, as you say excellent for diorama use with huge potential for dio ideas! …. Great to see what’s available 🙂👍
They look absolutely amazing kits, Andy. Thanks for the tour around your warehouse - it's like an Aladdins cave! I could spend hours just walking around there drooling at all the endless diorama potential....
Yeah, that looks a lot like my stash too... But they release so many wonderful kits. The early ones were a little rough, but nowadays their stuff is top notch.
I’m wishing them all the success in the world with these unusual kits. It’s really great there’s a company that dares to make such idiosyncratic stuff.
What an amazing collection of great diorama stuff. As a (retired) engineering storeman my hands are itching to organise your warehouse and get it all stored ! 😉
Love these, and your enthusiasm for your work. They really did sheep. Thanks for not pulling the wool over our eyes. Would LOVE to see your store. Got to get out there. (My Brother is in Tucson, just got to shake loose).
Those are some unique items that MiniArt produced. Details seem to be excellent for a plastic kit. I can't wait to see you build some dioramas using those kits. I wish MiniArt the best of luck, they produced unique items that might not be selling a lot.
- Hi Andy, at some point in the next year I’ll be starting dioramas- this Mini-Art product and data were fascinating- be interesting to see some pre-fabricated sanded and stained bases for diorama (we all do not have equal space or tools- or live in places where power tool or tool use creates too much noise etc.) I got back into modeling in a BIG WAY when COVID hit us. Watching your tutorials and learning from you- on all subjects modeling: paints, glues. Pigments, airbrushes, name it! And then watching others. I am (we are) exceptionally happy with your phenomenal business growth! And broad based supplies & support- as a retired executive chef with a quarter billion dollars in sales- I KNOW the drive your putting in to succeed On All Fronts. It’s hard to step back for a second and look around. I/we hope that you have some help- Watching your channel is something I, and nearly a quarter million subscribers look forward to greatly- new content- certainly- New Builds Always- Building and tutoring- built your channel. And believe me- this Is the core base. Seeing new product and the business expansion is great- promoting your product is certainly a business logical decision- it’s needed. It’s all time needed for business growth: The flip side is that there are fewer builds and information on them per se. While promoting items is necessary: this aspect risks turning Your Channel into a long series of “infomercials” as opposed to your core Modeling brilliance. You have your brick and mortar stores and warehouses in the USA & E.U. Why not start another TH-cam Channel for Business/Sales and maintain this one for modeling- while Referal to second channel? Builds- BILT & BUILD- it’s content. We’d love to see more builds- your work your a** off in both shops. I don’t think that YOU of all people will have any difficulties finding some staff to help in the store- from around the world! Cheers Andy & Thank You-
Oh man! The German tank crew painting their tank suddenly gave me an idea. All of this is awesome. So, I’ve been looking for a 1/48 scale RAF aircraft start booster cart for some Battle of Britain displays I’m working on. Any help? Hey TH-cam, make it so I can make multiple thumbs up.
Andy This was truly amazing and a treat !!!!! Thank you for the insights on these cool diorama ideas amd extras Outstanding Andy This was special !!!! Thank you Encore Hopefully we get to see some new dioramas from you Fantastic Andy!!!!
Mini Art rules ! They found a profitable niche. Which is nice. We need the same for 1/72 scale. Big time ! When organising 1/72 dioramas I often think: I could make a fortune selling what I want in my dio now...
I'm love MiniArt products. Only option when I wanted to build a diorama of a swing band. Modified some of their figures and music instruments and came out with something really different. I want that German tram now!
Having built a miniart kit, be wary of the really small pieces as they tend to break while cutting off the sprue and occasionally the instructions are not 100%, cool stuff though
The German petrol station one's the best the decals are all for Shell decals in the box instead of that Lunea box art one! I used that field workshop set to go in a diorama with my Bergepanther when it first came out! I'm still using alot of it the ladders are cool easy pinned so workable like! I've actually got the pigeon set lol I used AKs worn effects on them to get a very realistic feather job 😅 and that slide Moulded can is oil it's the 25 there's a smaller one at 15 they have great casting numbers for description on them.
Fantastic video Andy! Great stuff as usual! Me wife is rolling her eyes as I drool all over meself… 😂 You should look for a business partner here in Tokyo, I’m sure someone will be interested.
Miniart’s civilian diorama elements are a breath of fresh air. Come on Miniart, give us some 48 scale dioramas, will ya? (and sell a bunch of those to O scale railroaders).
Man i love your work, im 14 and my dream is to have a shop atleast half succesfull as you and i also want to start a company like miniart i love it and its great i hope i will be able to do all of that
I keep hoping that Miniart tackles a rail turnout, both left and right - they've done just about everything else for rail in 1/35. There's the Joe Fix offering; however, it is one large resin piece that contains the railbed....
Miniart is definitely different with an amazing product line. I recently built one of their T55 kits and the model is really super detailed and the fit of parts was very good with good clean moulding. The only thing I found is that Miniart tend to use a lot of small sprues and parts organisation on assembly is not that good. In the end I had to make a pin board up to hold the sprues in order otherwise I would have spent an inordinate amount of time looking for sprues and parts. They are not adverse to including some really tiny fiddly parts so not really for the beginner.
I have recently got one of those cheap Chinese models, (cue all the derogatory preconceptions many people will tell you about), a Gecko Bedford MWD, I'm slightly scared to start it, there are just so many small well moulded parts!, and I have been building since Airfix models were two shillings and threepence in a plastic bag, the quality of the model is stunning and for a very reasonable price especially considering what you get, if this is their standard then everyone else look out, I would post the build (slow build) if I was more into computing but I am not, so you will just have to go and buy one and be amazed.
Hey Andy, I always love watching your channel. Specially the building and the tips. My question Is and I'm sure people have ask you before, how old where you and how you into model building? I always wanted to learn how to air brush some models but getting the equipment is just to expensive. Any tips on where to start cheap?
Andy are you sure those are the ribs for the fuel drums? It looks more like the bungs to hold the tops on?? I cant wait to get the miniart tractors. Thanks for showing us these. Why is this the first Ive ever heard of "slide molding" Is there any videos of this out there anybody??
Miniart has great kits with just insane details. Beware of the tiny parts as many say here, they are not easy to cut off. Also the scale can be off, with lamps being the size of a man etc. But for detail and variety, they can't be beat
How about a Miniart 1/35 Andy’s Hobby Headquarters - complete with miniature Andy building a Tamiya 1/35 Tiger (in 1/1225 scale)! Well, Miniart make everything else - probably including the kitchen sink!
I regularly use MiniArt products. They’re ok. Some kits have excessive flash issues but are generally ok. Some of their 1:35 soldier kits have severe weapons fitting issues in my experience.
Great stuff for sure! What happens when you get a container? Do they bring it on a trailer and then unload the actual container for you to unload at your staff's schedule or does it stay on a trailer? With all of the shipping issues now that kind of logistical stuff is interesting.
Normally when you have a full container with only your stuff inside they deliver the container to your warehouse and it there for you to unload at your leisure. But most of the time the freight companies need that container back and so the driver will wait while you get a palette jack or a fork lift and start unloading everything into your warehouse. Then after he leaves you begin the fun process of opening all the cartons up and start receiving everything into your inventory.
@@vtbmwbiker Well that's a whole other can of worms one has to deal with afterwards. Normally if the company you are dealing with on a regular basis they do a pretty good job of making sure you are getting exactly what you ordered. But people do make mistakes and then you have to prove to the seller that they shorted you on this or that item.
When you have your container delivers are they 20' or 40'? I drove container delivery's here in the UK years ago. Emptied a 40' container with three employees of boxes about the same size as the IBG one's. Took bloody ages. Thanks for the Miniart video .
Did Miniart ever dump their U.S. distributers and begin dealing directly with hobby shops and online warehouses to lower prices on their products? I haven't noticed a drop in their prices.
I tried to do the US Bulldozer and it was by far the worse fitting and it had incredibly small parts for the engine i had high hopes going in but stopped at %30 compete . so i am now skeptical about the quality of Miniart builds .
Miniart's stuff is getting better every day!
Those kits are awesome. And little details, which is easy to miss adding, can make a Diorama awesome.
Miniart are a great model company, very detailed. The quality is very good. They made stuff that other companies won't touch. I personally love their kits.

Lots if interesting accessories that were un heard of just a few years ago! Cool, thanks for sharing!

Your the greatest hobby store since 'Vals hobby hangar" which was the greatest hobby store ever at 59th and Camelback.Hope you get this Andy

Have that problem with any thing im Young and i spend all my money on models and i think i addicted🤣
I love the variety, but not the scale--Not enough room to display it all. Wish it was in 1:48 scale.

Mini-Art stuff is so nice and they help bring dioramas to life
I’m glad I saw this yesterday cause I’ve gone and looked at miniart stuff and have now got a good few sets to add into some dioramas
Working in a hobbystore would most likely be one of my dream jobs
Some great looking kits and a very good and enjoyable video Andy Steve
Thanks for that tour Andy. And detailed peek inside..valuable info.

I love MiniArt dio accessories. Ive got... too many :P
Same here!
Yeah, that looks a lot like my stash too... But they release so many wonderful kits. The early ones were a little rough, but nowadays their stuff is top notch.
I might use that for something... yes. Well, if I should need a shitload of champagne bottles in 1:35, Im good.
Andy, those triangular containers pre dated the square Jerry cans developed in about 1937.
I’m wishing them all the success in the world with these unusual kits. It’s really great there’s a company that dares to make such idiosyncratic stuff.
Wish they would do all these in 1/16,there are some of us that like the larger scale.

So much for sending my daughter to college... :-P
The sheep kit will be good for doing a diorama of a line up at an Apple store, when a new iPhone is released.😊

3:08 those kit's are made for battle damage....right out of a box :)
I wish more companies would make more 1/24 & 1/25 military.
However I couldn't find MiniArt 35591 field workshop model in your store...
Nice. But didn't they do dead livestock (which are usually found in european battlefields)?
Horray! now we can all get some Sheep!
Rly nice Stuff :)

Both sizes 20s and 40s
I want to get started in making dioramas...I feel it would be overwhelmingly difficult.
These kits make it a lot easier! 👍
Hi Andy, do you have DML figures, preferably German DML6156, DML6309, or DML6214? ..Abel
Is this for the US only? I can't find any Mini-Art on the EU web site.
The v shaped tanks are early German fuel tank before 1934
What's slide moulding??
Are you going to have this stuff on line.
Yeah, Miniart delivers a heavy blow to resin & 3d accessories manufacturers with these kits:)
Soooo how do we order some of this?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Do you have any DISCOUNT CODES RIGHT NOW ??

you think you will eve3r bring back live streams andy
Look great but 1/35 scale, I guess?

Those shelves of kits made all the blood run out of my brain into my crotch......porn my friend....pure and simple😁
Lot of flash on those sheepses...
