@@chrisjordan8109 oh i am for sure gonna!! Im curious, do mcfarlanes wrost pegs hold weight like the feet pegs? There are some figures ive seen with smaller balls! Lol, for the wrist. Im thinkin since those bigger ankle balls are made to hold heavier, taller figures, MAYBE the wrist joints can hold up smaller.legends like wolverine and /or Spiderman!!....
@@funisoffensive4096 yes those joints hold well imo, this is a mod you can do with any figure that doesn't have ankle swivel as long as the shin is thick enough for the drimmeling, I sliced just the plastic that is through the actual hinges of the peg, no damage to the legs at all and doing this creates a kind of housing for the McFarland joint so it looks very natural, I wish I was someone that did videos as I do mods I feel this is hard to explain but easy as hell to do
@@chrisjordan8109 oh i have seen your pics of him. It does seem to work well. I like the houseing aspect. The front cut is the only thing that rubbed my eye wrong, but im sure in person or better lit pics would show how good it looks. I know pics can be decieving! I will try it out with fodder scraps to perfect the look for sure. I know mcfarlane offered only ball joints in the wrists and hands for a while and has only recently gone to sculpted ball joints with wrinkles and what have you so i want to try out all the different balls McFarlane has to offer!! Im thinkin hand balls will work great on Legends final swing spiderman man!
Well about my slit in the front comment.......i guess after lookin at my Venom figure....thre already is a visible slit for the hinge of the peg, so now......my mind is goin further about your way now!.......i gotta try this asap! After i make my "Tombstone's Neck Mod"video, this is on my list! Love this idea the more i think about it!! Did you have to drimmel out the inside of the ankleat all to fit the ball or just a good shove in?!? how did you get the existing hinge out?
@@funisoffensive4096 I'll hit you up on IG to go over the steps, the front cut I think your talking about is the original cut for the hinge, only thing I cut is the middle plastic that the ankle hinge is attached to, I know I'm not explaining it well lol but yeah Ill show more pics cause this may be a game changer for anyones customizing skillz
A more permanent fix that takes equal/less time is to drill out, then place slim metal dowels (glued only on 1 end). As long as u have the clearance for their depth (doesn't go into a hinge), this is proven. Cheers Dig
@funisoffensive4096 I lurk only, sorry. God bless you for importing time into all this. Learned that method from Billy Mahoney billmarutoycanichs here on YT.
