In my experiences with kit-bashing/customs, I would have boiled the figures, and attempted to 'pop' the abs/lower torso just enough to remove the waist/pelvis, keeping the legs intact, and tried swapping them that way. With enough practice, and the right tools, it can be really easy to do with minimal paint damage, then just use some super glue to close the abs again.
I haven't really tried doing a G I Joe and Marvel hybrid yet, but they're both 1/12th scale made by hasbro, so I can't imagine it would be that different.
Still, good job.
@@freakctc I agree with that technique when it's comes to marvel legends figures, but the design of marvel legends and classified doesn't allow for that swap to happen in that way. Thanks for checking out the video.
Excellent work. Love your customs / tutorials. Keep em comin...
I thought you were just gonna do a full bottom swap
First time on the channel. That kit bash came out really good, not giving up and making it work is what is all about. I will probably be stealing part of your vision of that Rambo idea. Thanks for sharing your talent.
This was really fun to watch! Thank you for sharing
you couldnt use logans legs from the thigh swivel up and pop the jeans upper leg into the lower thigh of duke?
@@jasonpatchen1912 unfortunately no and now that you mention it I wish I could have shown it on the video what it would have looked like. I'm pretty sure I have it in another video. Thanks
@@spartan_toy_hunter dang
Great looking swap
Nice kitbash custom!
Very good i buy it
Be careful they don't sue you for using that word Dremel LOL Dremel isn't actually a company what you're using is a rotary tool LOL just kidding well kind of serious LOL😂. In all seriousness that does look good not a big fan taking a beautiful classified figure like that but it works really well!
I think it would've worked better with outback/hawk legs. Those would have been in better proportion to this Wolverine figure.
I used marvel legends the Hood trigger hands for my Logan😁👌
@@earlritchey8061 very nice!!👍
I'm locked in on this customizing life of ours..let's go!!
Obvious lower part swap and done. Why not think it before you do it?!
How would you call this custom? Logan from the wolverine movie?
The other version of this tank top wolverine has the bone claw hands also, you could make the scene even better with those.
I took the sentry trigger hands and used em on the Walmart exclusive kraven
Nice custom would be fun to try!
I wouldn’t paint the legs green though, I’d just try to match the color of the legs as close as possible and paint the crotch piece (less area and chance of paint rub that way.)
Mix whites, yellows, reds ect and you can get pretty close :)
I like that look for Logan, it’s cool watching “how-to” videos.
and what about a head swap and call it a day?
Awesome job on the legs 👍👍👍👍🥪🥓🥤
Why would you do all that when you had to paint anyway? You could have just painted wolverine's legs to begin with
