A loaded trip, I returned to my hometown of New Orleans to collect footage, visit some of my childhood favorites and see what spotting is like at the new terminal while testing out new equipment. Originally planned for the evening, I drove over to the airport from the DoubleTree at the foot of the runway as soon as I woke up, to get it over with. The footage was taken over two hours, between 7 and 9 a.m. Central Time, as I worked around an ill-placed staircase.

Where is the best place to spot for a 10 yo kid? My son has a YT channel and i thought about bringing him down to MSY because there's more variety in planes and airlines.
