Adore is one of MY ALL TIME FAVORITE Prince songs!!! It is on a couple different playlists of mine. As a matter of fact, Prince is ALL OVER all of my playlists. He was/ is one of my favorite artists of all time. His geniuos and creativity was unmatched. I grew up in the 80's, so of course I loved him. The entire Purple Rain soundtrack, When Doves Cry, Little Red Corvette, Cream, Erotic City, Kiss, 1999, all of it! The first song that I ever heard by Prince was 'Soft and Wet. I knew that I was gonna love him, but just didn't know how much! ❤❤
it's not even about the voice, its about the whole vibe. Yes, I was a year out of college when this song popped off. It was the Marvin Gaye, Barry White baby making music of the time. I think it was TOO r&b gospelly for certain demographics at the time, so it was not a "crossover" hit like Purple Rain or 1999 but it WAS on the r&b stations all the time.
Prince was very overrated.....he done a few good tracks ....I'm not having a go ..but this is my honest opinion....Not in the same world as Micheal Jackson.... Melanie 34 🌈
