Personally worried about the way Whitneys describes her relationship with TikTok. It sounds like it her main happy place, but if she's yet to go to therapy to deal with her daddy x mommy issues, I see a slow brewing storm.

To you two ladies. I can relate to not having one parent out of rejection, parental denial etc. In my case, my mother fell pregnant but her family did not agree with her relationshsip with my dad due to differences in wealth and tribe. So i was taken away when i was so little. Grew up without her but she never ever checked in on me. She never ever asked of me. She is alive and married with kids. I tried to reconnect in my late teens but she rejected me. She didn't really want anything to do with me. For so long, i blamed myself and had lots of questions. I'm 28 and i forgave her and i have just let go and moved on. I forgave someone whose face i cannot even recognise if you placed her infront of me. Life is a mystery and i have been blessed with other women i call my mothers and they love me like their own children. You two are doing great.

I share both these ladies sentiments, I reconnected with my dad about two years before he passed. I felt nothing when my dad passed because I didn't know him. I had wondered about him throughout my teens but meeting him actually made me thankful that he didn't raise me. My respect for my mom multiplied tenfold because I finally understood why she made the decisions that she did to raise me alone.

First time watching the channel and loving how this interview was handled and the sensitive subjects. I'm a 37 year old woman and know exactlt how each of these girls feel in terms of their dad. I lost saw my dad at 13 and even then it was not easy but he tried. Sadly his efforts kept being thwarted by his wife who came into the relationship knowing he has a child. He tried again when I was about 21 even though we lived in different cities. Sadly wife 🙄😒 came along got hold of my number and yelled at me that my dad akana mali. I was utterly shocked and disgusted and made an effort with my dad bad because of her. Sadly few days after my birthday he died at a young age mid 40s. Few months later I fell pregnant with my daughter and she is named after him, Zola. I learned at a young age to forgive him for failing to be the parent I needed but also realized that he had his own demons that he needed to deal with which sadly effected his future and relationships and thus me and him. Sadly the little efforts came to late in life. Sorry rhis gave a moment to purge. As for the ladies keep doing what your are doing, keep pushing, the ladies are beautiful. As for these cyber bullies they need better constructive things to do with their life than hid behind their social media accounts and attacking people who are living their life.

Just came across this episode. And I really must say that I relate. It's really difficult to forgive someone who has never apologized. It feels as if there's this thing within you that keeps on feeding off from you and just leaves you drained.
On a lighter note, this episode was very informing. I think now people will start treating influencers like humans, that they are.
This episode also got me thinking that we should get another episode of people who work hard daily to get a platform to impact other people's lives, but are denied those kinds of opportunities simply because they don't have 'this' amount of followers or because they don't look a certain way. I would definitely have a lot to share with that regard.

I relate to the father who was never there and now history repeating itself through my relationship, my baby daddy did what my father has done to my mother though it's not exactly but is not nice cause this keeps on reoccurring in my current relationship and i'm losing trust.
