everything vlogXD Nope, I’ve probably put another 100 hours on the bike if not more since the day this video was filmed. Still on the OEM Honda bottom end, put a piston in it about 20 hours ago and the rod bearing was still tight. Honda 2 strokes are just noisy engines.
Chris Balcom 217 what should I use when i get mines rebuilt ima do top and bottom it’s still fine bt not sure if the hours on the motor bought it from a friend
Mr. C's stuff actually for some reason it doesn’t take much rain it just gathers all in the few spots. I’m at J&D offroad, which is just north of Joplin, Missouri.
I love the bike. I need to upload a current GoPro clip. I’ve gotten the bike a lot more dialed in and I’ve gotten a lot faster. I’ve been riding a lot of hard enduro and single track the last year or so. I need to upload some of that.
It’s an 04. In this video it’s just a newer front fender I made to fit on it. Now it’s got a polisport restyle complete kit on it to look like a 17-20 model.
Looks fun and nice job. Man I love the sound of 2-stroke bikes. Overall, how did the '04 CR 250 do as a woods bike for you? Is the power controllable? Did you mod the bike in any fashion?
drumdover thanks man! And yes you can’t beat the sound of a 2 stroke in the woods. My bikes got a full pro circuit exhaust, and I’ve rejetted the carb to my liking, it’s got a wiseco dome piston in it, and I’ve revalved the suspension softer. But other than that the bike is pretty much stock other than some flashy anodized parts and handle bars.
the engine breaking 😳
Nope. 4 years going strong, only done a top end once and the bottom cases have never been split since factory. The cr’s are just noisy engines.
good trip 👍
that rod knocking

@@MegaShotgun21 nice looking forward to seeing them
Man I've been doing some single track myself on my xr650l
What year is that or is that just an aftermarket fender kit?

Its rich on fuel. Can you hear it?
Yes it was. I’ve since done a lot of carb tuning.

drumdover and atleast for me the power is just as controllable as a 450 would be. Just a lot more fun to ride.
Nice CR... check my 1995 CR vids
There's nothing raw about this lol sorry bro
