    Hi Tom, I truly appreciate the content of the entire series. I would like to have more on multiple projects, say five to ten for a year.

    Thank you!
    I have been searching for videos on inserting CO's and Delays. If you have any suggestions for other videos to watch regarding CO's and delays, please let me know. Again Thank you.

      If you click subscribe and check the msproject play list you will see more videos, there is one on file naming protocols including changes that is helpful. I will be doing many more in the coming months.

    Hi Tom, really love your videos. I have a question on Change Order. Once we insert the change activities,how do we need to re-baseline as it has impacted cost and schedule. Do i need to make two copies of the baseline ? Any tips ?

      @TomStephensontraining  ปีที่แล้ว

      Check my MS Project the course video on changes in my playlist. I'm pretty sure I show how to baseline selected tasks e.g. the change order, by doing that you add a baseline only to the change so you can track it as well

    Hi Tom, I have a master project plan consisting of 4 different projects(not linked via subproject). I have several tasks going on at the same time. How do I manage resource allocation and scheduling for tasks going on at the same time?

    • @TomStephensontraining

      Hi sorry for the slow reply, It maybe be difficult to do now but you could create a resource oool where your projects share the same resources. Over allocations will appear if there are any.

    Dear Tom, when we will use the update project icon? Thank you.

    • @TomStephensontraining
      @TomStephensontraining  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use it instead of some of the ways I indicated in the video. MSproject lets you do the same thing often many different ways. Hope that helps.

      @@TomStephensontraining Thank you Sir. In another youtube channel I found some people used the project update for rescheduling the activity. What do you prefer between move the task after tbe status date or used the rescheduling task. Would you please, make the video for this matters. Thank you Sir.

    The suggestion made around 23 minute mark is money guys

    Why wouldn't you just put the start date of this change the day you found out or actually started it instead of linking it as SS+?days?

    • @TomStephensontraining
      @TomStephensontraining  ปีที่แล้ว

      You certainly can the only issue is that you are using a constraint and that often makes the critical path on the original project before the change disappear by turning blue. In other videos I do it like you said if it is soon to be marked complete it does not matter much.

    • @HunterGyp
      @HunterGyp ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TomStephensontraining Is the critical path prior to this change important enough to link the starts together. I see that this change is what would drive the schedule and not so much ther previous path, at least where it was inserted at. Maybe if this change was identified a little earlier the previous path would still be applicable enough to need the start link. Just a thought as i went thru all your videos.
      By the way thanks for those as yours series was by far the best in presenting usable knowledge.
