I do launch in Mukilteo. Right from the slip. I like humminbird helix fish finders. I have a 10” screen on mine, but that’s just because I am selling my small boat and I had it on there. Moved it to my yak. 7” is about perfect. A lot of people swear by lowrance, though. I think it’s absolutely comparable. I also have a 7” lowrance elite. Works great.
2.3-2.7 mph. Though I’m really looking for approximately a 40-45 degree angle on the DR line. I primarily use a brads superbait plug in black jack color packed with tuna in oil. The tuna in oil is a killer addition to any plug.
We got a 3 man limit in less than an hour last evening. Great video!
