This just reminded me the of the reasons I hold the line. BioWare owes it to themselves to complete this game correctly. Thank you BioWare, and thank you Big Giant Circles
This music perfectly capivates all the moments and feelings of the mass effect series. I hope to see you work in the next mass effect game. Amazing work dude!
For those puzzled, look in the details. BGC is Jimmy Hinson. Hinson's part of the actual musical team for Mass Effect 2 (and he's also a gamer). This track (among others) is now for sale for $5. Unused, drafts and this, his personal thank you for being able to be a part of it on BOTH SIDES of the console.
This song is a love letter to the music of Mass Effect, and the video follows suit capturing some of the incredible cutscene and gameplay animation as well. Thank you for both.
I'm - in - serious - awe. This tribute describes all the important things and feelings in this game. Darkness, hope, true friends, greatness, extension of the mind, holding together, unimaginable secrets of the universe, death and rebirth, courage, loss of great things and great lives, desperation, danger, weight of decisions, and a lot more I can't adapt into words. I'm so in love with this universe.
Even though the third game's ending left me feeling somber, I couldn't help but remember the thrill it was to play through every story prior. There have been few games of which the finales have left my heart pounding, Mass Effect is one of them.
If ever be brought into the film out of the wonderful saga of Mass Effect, I wish to transmit the same emotions that millions of players have "lived" and that the author of this magnificent video clip has give expression in the form of tribute
Jimmy, thank you for your contribution to Mass Effect 2. The music you worked on were among my favorites. I missed your work on Mass Effect 3, but it's great to hear your take on the whole series including ME3.
My god i was about to say few words like "That was beutiful", but when i finished watching i felt a sudden need to express my gratitude. This is just an utterly amazing clip. i wish they'd put it on the end of ME3 so it would be an epic ending of just as epic saga. Amazing job mate. THUMBS UP! ALL THE WAY
Such a beautiful song. As a big Mass Effect fan (completed my third playthrough of the series a couple of days ago, working on my 4th), you did a wonderful job blending the songs together. I had "Max Effect" and I just bought "Legacy" on Amazon! Good work, sir!
I am a huge fan of the Mass Effect soundtrack, and this is the best arrangement I've heard! I dunno how many times I've listened to this song and I still get chills. Nicely done :)
I got an itunes gift card when I was accepted to my internship last year. I didn't know what to do with it, so I've saved it. Now I know what to do with it. Cheers for making the best cover I've heard in a long time!
They were in promotional trailers, not the actual games. The Thane and Grunt footage was in the same ME2 cinematic trailer (which auromatically plays if you leave the menu alone for a bit when you boot up the game); and the Ash one was in the ME3 - Take Back Earth - one.
This mix is such a wonderful celebration of how amazing the music for Mass Effect is. Gah, so emotional. Gave me goosebumps more than once, haha. Such an amazing game series with so many talented people behind it.
I recently found you through the coverart of Contingency on DeviantArt and immediately bought the album because it's just brilliant, epic, and amazing- of course I saw the legacy album too, but until now I've somewhat missed out on buying it- and now you've won something from Bioware for your stunning work. Congrats! Anyway, awesome music, I'll make sure to buy it for 25$
i was gonna say your music deserves way more views. and then i read your comment. you definitely deserve more views now that i know that. why they took you off the project, i dont know, but this is some really great music. you made ME2 so much more with your music.
Seriously though man, you have to be one of the greatest producers alive right now. Everything I have heard from you is just pure gold. Just purchased all your albums from bandcamp after hearing your Imposter Nostalgia album.
I can't even tell if I would've preferred a bad ending over the one we got with hardly any closure. Still, fantastic games, all of them, down to the choice at the end.
Light piano music is no substitute for the lack of any emotion (or any feeling besides confusion) in the ending. I wanted something heroic like this (or the ending of ME2, a reprise of the main theme).
Amazing video and music compilation. I hated the ending...but I totally agree with you that this was and incredible gaming experience. Kudos to Bioware for creating such an in depth universe...now just give us some closure lol! Love this video and thanks for sharing :)
I think it's perfectly OKAY to dislike the endings. But maybe people should try to consider that the people who made those three awesome games, also made that ending as well, a little well placed thought is never out of place people.
I saw the key themes as being unity over division, and triumph over adversity. Sacrifice happened when you failed; when you cut corners. See Wrex in ME1, your entire team in ME2... We fought to preserve this galactic civilization, only to choose the method of its destruction. We fought to protect the people we came to care about, only to abandon them to a fate worse than death. We sought to unite the galaxy, then stranded the allies we gathered. We fought our damnedest, and we failed.
I have an idea. Has anyone listened to the hilariously-terrible music that plays via Shepard's sound system in the cabin? How 'bout we take it out, toss it out the airlock, and replace it with some of this stuff? I'd totally listen to Faster than Light on the sound system. Then we'd have a reason to actually turn the darn thing on! Great job, Jimmy! Keep giving us more!
This is amazing. Would've personally liked to have heard Vigil in there somewhere, but whatevs. @Arglactable: I get that you're angry, and I know we've been everywhere talking non-stop, and I apologize. But please realize that we feel passionately about it, because this really is for some of us the video game equivalent of Star Wars. Not only that, but the precedent should be set for future debates that the core fans matter. EA and companies like it CANNOT be allowed to corporatize creativity.
Really great video! Shame that I can't forget the ending I got to the game. Loved the series until the Starchild or whatever was introduced, but I'm digging this! :D
This was epic. This musical piece should've been playing for the ME3 ending except instead of trailer footage and stock cutscenes it should've shown scenes summarizing the events, decisions and outcomes of everything the player did all throughout ME 1,2 and 3 and the characters that didn't make it, along with the characters that made it all the way to the end. THEN it should culminate into either a SUCCESSFUL or FAILED ending with the reapers.
Goosebumps. Eargasm.
The music of the ME series alone was enough for me to play it.
Great job with this one, amazingly well done!

I found you on Pretzel while I was in live. I was like: "Wait, is this Mass Effect?" then my heart was overwhelmed. Good job ❤
Greatest game series ever!!! Every great series ends to early. This will be immortalized forever.
This has to be the most epic of Mass Effect soundtrack remixes, seriously. It's epic in both scope and sound. Simply amazing...
4:25 thought my headphones broke lol, great tribute one of the best I have ever seen.
I'm - in - serious - awe.

Very well done. With all of the ME3 ending negativity around this video put everything that made this series amazing back into perspective. Thank You.
I really enjoyed seeing the different sections of this song paired with their respective environments from the game. Great music!
I am a huge fan of the Mass Effect soundtrack, and this is the best arrangement I've heard! I dunno how many times I've listened to this song and I still get chills. Nicely done :)

Beautiful. An absolutely amazing song.
It lit up a tiny little spark in my dark and jaded heart. Might've even shed a single tear of joy.
amazing job. one of the best Mass Effect montages out there. (a specially because of the music)
Beautiful mix, it's my favourite way to remember the games.
MASTER PIECE!, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THIS CREATION
This stopped me in what i was doing and left me with a strong feeling of nostalgia. Thanks for that.
This is the greatest Mass Effect tribute I've seen so far. Your only competition would be ACAVYOS.
They were in promotional trailers, not the actual games. The Thane and Grunt footage was in the same ME2 cinematic trailer (which auromatically plays if you leave the menu alone for a bit when you boot up the game); and the Ash one was in the ME3 - Take Back Earth - one.
You did a fantastic job stringing these songs all together. Excellent
Fantastic music.
This mix is such a wonderful celebration of how amazing the music for Mass Effect is. Gah, so emotional. Gave me goosebumps more than once, haha. Such an amazing game series with so many talented people behind it.
Probably the best Mass Effect montage I think I've ever seen. Great job man.
So epic. Thank you for your outstanding work. Amazing tribute.
my god this track is epic. good fit for the series!! well done!
I recently found you through the coverart of Contingency on DeviantArt and immediately bought the album because it's just brilliant, epic, and amazing- of course I saw the legacy album too, but until now I've somewhat missed out on buying it- and now you've won something from Bioware for your stunning work. True. Let's hope for a really good cinematic this summer.
What a Game !!!!, I hope that Miranda brings the Commander Shepard to life again, and so, we can play new adventures from our Avatar again.
This stuff right here reminds me why I love Mass Effect so much, thank you.
i was gonna say your music deserves way more views. and then i read your comment. you definitely deserve more views now that i know that. why they took you off the project, i dont know, but this is some really great music. you made ME2 so much more with your music.

Thanks for this video, you obviously put a lot of effort in it, great footages, good selection of scenes, I really enjoyed watching it.
Wow, this video gave me chills. The combination of the most epic francise ever + an epic version of the soundtrack is so awsome! Thanks :D
What a beautiful tribute, I'm moved to tears!
My favorite franchise of all time. The endings were a bummer but by that point I had already enjoyed 34 hours of fun. I love Bioware.
Amazing, man. Gave me chills.
Dude you deserve to compose an entire epic game soundtrack yourself. best of luck
Amazing track!
Especially I loved the signs of Illusive Man´s theme that was pretty nice mixed in the main music.
Bravo!
AMAZING ! Just Uncredible, I want to live in Shepard's ERA !!
Thank you for this, Mr. Hinson. Brought back many memories.
Goosbumps by watching this video. Awesome job.
its been one hell of a ride.. thanks bioware!
Gives me the shivers.
Great arrangement, sums up the series pretty good.
Amazing video and music compilation. I hated the ending...but I totally agree with you that this was and incredible gaming experience. Kudos to Bioware for creating such an in depth universe...now just give us some closure lol! Love this video and thanks for sharing :)
I just watched it again, and there is no way to 100% tell what happened.
That's the beauty of the ending.
Plot holes!
Time to return to this song with the remake releasing ah memories
This song is ending, but the story never ends. Thank you!
It's actually pretty damn scary how well it fits, great catch!
omg i forgot to mention the video is brilliant.whoever did this deserve a medal:)
You managed to make Mass Effect more awesome. Man...
Excellent clip and thank you Bioware! :)
I still want the "ending situation" fixed/resolved/addressed however.
Video music xd everything is off the hook huge fan of mass effect been playing it since it first came out and will never stop playing it
Love the soundtrack, already bought it, keep up the good work.
I love the portion where it transitions from Leaving Earth to the Mass Effect Theme.
I think it's perfectly OKAY to dislike the endings.
But maybe people should try to consider that the people who made those three awesome games, also made that ending as well, a little well placed thought is never out of place people.
You know, this song REALLY should have been used for ME3's ending credits. It just fits so well!
Absolutely loved it.
That was awesome. I love this series.
I love this. Very well done to you sir. Bought the album :).
the ending was great. Yup you heard me. I loved it.
I saw the key themes as being unity over division, and triumph over adversity. Sacrifice happened when you failed; when you cut corners. See Wrex in ME1, your entire team in ME2...

Man this is awesome work...
Love ittttt! :) Mass Effect is definitely one of my favourite video game series of all time~
Incredible.
This is Legend
This is now officially the end-theme to my headcanon.
I have an idea.
Has anyone listened to the hilariously-terrible music that plays via Shepard's sound system in the cabin?

Great job, Jimmy! Keep giving us more!
i wish they can make a movie like this, i hope,
the best story ever told in video games...
Whew! this is a GOOD video! Loved it! Fan requests one for Dragon Age?
You have talent!
You got a magical trip ahead, mate. ;)
2:36 is my favourite part. The collectors theme is just awesome! :D
This was awesome. ME1, ME2 and 98% of ME3 were Amazing.
This is amazing. Would've personally liked to have heard Vigil in there somewhere, but whatevs.

This needs lots more likes and views.
Very nice music video !! keep up the good work !!

Easily the best "tribute to ..." I've ever heard.
Mass effect legendary!
so beautiful.i love this song to pieces especially the first 3 minuets:D
They've even fixed that ending now to give Shepard a proper send off.
THANK YOU BIOWARE
Her ME1 death scene is actually also in the video.
Thanks bro!
A lot of the video pieces that you saw were from promotional trailers from ME 2. Like the parts of Grunt and Thane you asked about.
Awesome. Awesome to the max.
Well done. Very well done
I love it!
