I know this is off the subject, but somebody desperately needs to record some people speaking the old languages. That way, they could be taught in the schools or saved for future generations.
Our Connecticut sightings were our experience with this topic, including 2 in our kitchen window by my sister, which caused my Father 82nd Airborne Paratrooper to set a trap thinking it was neighborhood pranksters. When it appeared the second time, again my sister screamed and my Dad ran outside and sprayed it with the hose which he kept turned on. It lunged at him for this and then ran off into the nearby woods. When he came back inside he said whatever that was it was big and definitely not pranksters. After this he bought a rifle for the house and kept it by the kitchen door for that Summer. The third face to face to face encounter was by our campfire light and one appeared in the light enough where our friend could see it. He started screaming and shaking so bad that we had to escort him home. This was in Connecticut, not some deep mysterious wilderness, not some lost mountain range, but in Connecticut, Southern New England, not far from New Haven. This in a State with a well developed manufacturing and industrial base but is still considered 60% woodlands even in 2024.

Ok so everyone I have a theory, first off I would like to establish that I believe skinwalkers are spirit, probably demons as it's said that skinwalkers can shapeshift, disappear and reappear, swap between physical and a non-physical state, and possess, which is like, everything a demon is, secondly I would like to say I believe that Sasquatch is fully just another animal, personally, any sasquatch that is seen "cloaking" or shapeshifting I believe is a skinwalker, from descriptions alone we know that skinwalkers can take many forms, so why would that exclude sasquatch? Adding to this, if sasquatch is able to fully cloak or shift ebtween realities, why would there be so many accounts of them running away or being injured? Eating and sleeping? If they can cloak and shift they would have no reason to do such, but such activities perfectly reflect that of skinwalkers or demons
I don't doubt the story's I heard I'm a white man but I grew up in Washington state I found my first track at 7 -8 years old in the woods all kids looked it and we ran like hell was after us
