Her words carry the weight of truth in them. It's easy to see that she's speaking from experience; and not inventing stories, or recounting tall tales.
    Thanks for posting this! 👍

I'm thankful these recollections are being documented as time and memories fade. In 2017 while camping deep in the Olympic national Forest I encountered one and it has forever changed my perception of what I know and what is.
Thank you doing this and those who contributed, as it is validation for one's experience however frightening or unbelievable to know your not the only one.

I love WY and it's people. The Wind River Tribal lands are enormous and just beautiful. We met some men at the small rest area there and they were going to POWOW. Invited us to go. We were meeting people near Cody that evening and had to turn them down on the invite. I was so honored and humbled by that experience. I am a believer also!

Scary! I used to live in New Mexico and northern Arizona and go hiking by myself. I had no idea that these things existed or I would have never gone out hiking alone! Fortunately, I never came across one.

These stories were wonderful. All the details she remembered about each sighting or encounter made a clear picture in my mind. When she spoke of the ranchers horses & quickly added in that she had seen them herself, I felt this was quite significant. Even though she was just 11-13yrs old when these took place, obviously the type of thing you remember vividly your entire life! Thank you for taking time to speak with & record these tales from our true Native American & First Nations people of the Northern American continent. Their knowledge of this land needs to be shared. 🧡🙋🏼‍♀️👍🏻

When people experience something “abnormal,” I believe it gives them the ability to tell if someone is telling the truth about something, or if it’s BS. For myself, if it feels true, I get the same “gone” feeling deep in my gut that I felt when it was happening, just from hearing somebody tell their stories. When I feel nothing, or somehow I start feeling really annoyed, then I don’t believe what I’m being told. This woman is telling the truth, based on my internal barometer.

Interesting interview. I grew up in that area, and have lived in the Wind River valley my entire life. I remember the story of the Sasquatch seen by Ray Lake. This would be between the town of Lander and Ft. Washakie. I was about ten years old at the time. There were quite a few sightings back in those days.
I had a frightening encounter back in 1993, in the Wind River/Absaroka Range around the Brooks Lake area. It is approximately 90 miles northwest of Ft. Washakie. My encounter was one of three that I know of near Brooks Lake.

Her accounts, I feel, have a high level of credibility. She is so humble and honest sounding. People have to realize that there are many different PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS. Sometimes the veil between dimensions opens up and people have experiences like what she describes. Then, for whatever reason, the veil closes and people wonder why there isn't more physical evidence. But, of course, the veil closed and it was lost. Blessings to all.

Thanx for sharing makes me feel better about unexplainable experience I stumbled upon myself in 2017. I hunted my entire life and lived in the same place since I was born. And I know exactly what lives here and I know what I had seen that day was not anything that I had ever seen in these woods in all the 45 years I had spent in em until that very moment! We were 30 yards apart at most and we had a very good and what seemed like a very long look(too long)at each other.(there were 3)Wish it had never happened really changed alot of things for me and it's not something that you will or can forget any time soon I assure you! God Bless!

This video has been UPDATED with an improved sound track. Please go to th-cam.com/video/Cb7Nj_TwPsI/w-d-xo.html to see this improved version.
The original sound was recorded with the camera mike after a quick hike to the location. In addition to wind sounds, there was my heavy breathing and assorted camera noises. A viewer from Africa offered his services as an audio engineer to work on the sound. So THANK YOU, Marc Blaze for the much improved soundtrack!

My mom used to tell my brothers and I a similar story. When she was a kid, they would hear something running around their house late at night. Like real heavy footsteps, just going round and round the house. And if a window was cracked, they could smell something foul.
One incident was that her dad came home late. He'd been out drinking with a few friends and a cousin. They pulled into the driveway, and their headlights landed on this big hairy thing standing in the yard, near the edge of the yard. My grand dad jumped out of the car and started chasing it. Grand dad passed away before I was born.
Years later, in my 30s, at a family get-together, my grandfather's cousin is there. He was talking to my mom about the old house, and then he's like, "Hey, 'member that time Tommy (granddad) chased that Bigfoot into the woods? He was a crazy sob!". It was a genuine memory. Gave me chills.

Thank you for the great interview. As a life long Wyoming resident, your comments about flying kites in the snow was great! Anyone who has grown up in Wyoming has likely done this. I was not aware of Sasquatch sightings among the Shoshone. I was aware of the Nimerigar/Nunumbi or the cannibal little people and find that fascinating as well. Shoshone have a great history.

Thank you for sharing these fascinating accounts. It's interesting to see that the different Sasquatches had different moods. The first one when you were 11 seemed to be mostly curious about all of your antics with the kite. The second one was murderous. Hard to say what the stomping one was thinking - playful, trying to scare you, ...? On a personal note, I wish my hair and face looked as good as yours!

Blackfeet Nation Reservation MT, My Mother’s Home is 3 miles from Glacier National Park. There is absolutely No Wildlife because of this Bigfoot Creature, but Not only that but there’s more than that around there, my brother scared one away from there & all he could see was a big tall figure running away. My bro could hear the ground pounding with every footstep, it ran behind a little hill and within moments came out from behind the hill was about 8-10 Horse's running for their life.

I've had an encounter(s) with these beings. I live at the base of Mt Hood in Oregon. Spent many years on the mountain with my sons- camping, fishing etc. Didn't really give bigfoot much thought. All of the sudden one day in April 2018 it became very real. It scared the shit out of us. I don't believe for one minute it is an ape. They are a tribe of people imo. Way to smart to be an animal. They are MASSIVE!

Second handed info. Two weeks ago, around July 9,/2021, several tribal members had a Big Foot encounter on the North Fork road ( Popo Agie river ). They were a little bit past the end of the asphalt, and on the gravel road. The creature started throwing 6" to 8" inch cobble rocks at them. They quickly got their fishing gear together and left, so this is a believe it or not story. I found it a bit hard to believe, but I do believe they encountered something. This wasn't far from Fort Washakie.

When my granpa was 11 yo, in Panama, C.Amer, living in the countryside, he was sent on an errand .In those days/even today-kids are sent on errands all the time. Night caught him, as as he was returning, it was dark, and he was still outside the house, and he heard the most horrific sounds behind the house- it scared him something awful. At that time, A couple of Generations ago, everything was still wooded, not developed like today. It sounded like the creature called "Tulivieja". But you know, there are reports of Bigfoot all the way down to So. Amer.

I seen a bigfoot in Elko Nevada in 1993, It walked across a bridge at night in the street lights that are along the bridge. It looked like a very big male.
