Being unbiased O Malley has some nice hands for MMA he knows how to step back on the counter to create distance and get ko power. He has good enough foot work to catch Aljo on the take down attempts.

Suga definitely has the reach and the striking advantage. Sterling has proven not to fold under pressure. This fight will likely end in a decision and I’m favoring suga by a slim 3/5 rounds.

Suga is a very smart fighter, overall and especially in the Octagon. He has mad skills and speed, as well as the confidence it takes to go all the way to number 1. His footwork and hands are phenomenal. I think that he can take Sterling and get the belt.

I remember the Almeida fight. He got stunted on hard by this guy, who seemed to want to finish the fight with a spinning elbow, and wouldn't stop trying over and over and over. It was like target practice.

The screenshot that I clicked on shows the 'skinny guy' in the ring with a significantly larger and just as tall opponent, then the video shows only other skinny guys obviously in his weight class, I was waiting to see him destroy someone a lot bigger, never happened though.

Everyone has the shot at winning any right. And as one progresses in their carrier, it comes down to this, who is the one with the greatest hunger. Sean is going to need to come in their just about starving. But then, Sterling is going to watch the video of Sean's fight with Yan and think that he needs to come in as a roaring lion ready to dismantel because if he does not, he could very well be another notch on O'Malley's glove.

So Sean's only loss was to Marlon Vera, and his first title defense was Marlon Vera.. I guess that's Cheetoh, as they kept calling him.. Sean just looked so out of it and afraid to touch Cheetoh when he badly hurt.. I don't know if Sean's loosing it or what, but the announcers just kept saying that Sean was fighting so great when he really wasn't.. Anyone else agree..??

A Non Focused on Wrestling /Submission ---fighter. I missed the old days of Mixed Martial Arts , Wrestling and submission is Real on the Streets , but it isnt Elegant or as Exciting as a Stand Up Fighting, Sean, He Goes, and you cant run or flip him when he's coming SWINGIN. So Far Anyway , Gracie Group style might try to get under and In , but he isnt letting that happen so far.
He didn't "destroy" Vera. He layed on the mat and whined. He sure didn't destroy Yan either. He was gifted that bout. No, O'Malley is an abomination.
After I rewatched the match with Petr Yan O'MALLEY definitely won the fight. I mean O'MALLEY hurt Yan. Furthermore Yan didn't really hurt O'MALLEY throughout the fight. It was a great fight. It was an overall better fight than with Sterling. He kicked his ass.

Aljo is on a whole nother lever then the rest of the competition seriously did you just not see him break Henery and he did it at his own game like seriously how tf do you go out there and make an Olympic gold medalist look like that??? Sean is special and 100% can win this fight his striking is a smooth as it gets I'm in no way counting him out but historically the wrestler gets the win aginst the specialist. And where Sean has historically had the advantage is reach aginst his opponents but Aljo has long mofo arms man he's not easy to get close to and the threat of the take down.... Sean needs to bring the kicks and keep distance and be fancy with it nothing slow and noting to the outside where it can be caught. With Aljo having a 71" reach vs Sean's 72" reach is going to be interesting very interesting. I'm not willing to bet money either of these guys and don't want to see either loose but we are going to be in for a good show when it happens.
Dana Groomed him. Done for his own good. A guy like Shugga.might get in over his head if he had moved to fast. You can see what a guy is about as he gets better and better fights. The Yan fight, I feel was the turning point. He is not gonna walk through top dudes in the first round like he has in the past. I am not saying he fought some tomato cans but yeah…a few of them were not up to his level. He has the grit to fight through a guy like Yan (I feel Yan lost because he just wasn’t able to solidify his approach) Meaning most guys won’t be able manhandle Yan.

Hello. I agree. I lost any respect I had for when him when he cheated at weigh-ins. I am 🤮 when he's "octogon side comentating" basically just saying what he would do. It's not about him.
