    It is unlikely that one human species eliminated another. Their numbers were too small for the vast geography and resources. Other primates have existed side-by-side in more constricted habitats without eliminations. The other human species disappeared for reasons other than competition, the same way mammoths and other species did.

      It’s true that many factors could have contributed to the disappearance of other human species, like environmental changes, diseases, or even interbreeding with Homo sapiens. Competition might have played a role too, but it’s unlikely to be the only reason. Thanks for sharing your insight!

    These Homo sapiens look European-what happened to African Homo sapiens from about 200,000 years ago?

    You hit the point exactly with the advent of "articular language". This is what gave us an incredible advantage over other Homo species. The ability to not only dominate other local competition but to also pass down this knowledge over generations and to build on it.

    It was the time when humans learned to use fire. It was game over. Humans instantly became masters of this planet...

      A species that can create civilizations and begin leaving its own planet to explore its solar system is not a trivial thing. Additionally, until proven otherwise, the Fermi Paradox points to the possibility that humans are the only interplanetary species in our galaxy.

    • @CIMAmotor
      @CIMAmotor 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@RandallvanOosten-ln5wf I wouldn't call humans properly 'interplanetary' yet, but I agree with you otherwise.

    Didn't different human species interact with each other? There was no cross breeding? Could our species just be a blend of many?

    I have news for you Insanely Curious, you can read about the miracle in Genesis 1. All you have done is describe what you thing happened giving no reason why we should have developed all these abilities. There never was an evolution there never were hunter gatherers and the simple clear explanation is that man is God's special creation. There, you can stop wondering now.
