- Filmed on November 17, 2018: Located in Houston, TX, in the Museum District. This is by far one of my favorite elevators in the science museum. I absolutely LOVE the dinner bell! Music to my ears, ready to ring in for the Christmas season! :D Installed in 1981.

Now THAT is a bell!
This elevator always seemed fancy and posh to me. I also really liked the huge elevator in the central hall.
The big one used to be at 90s classic Dover that it’s already been modded.
I believe the large elevator at the back has been modded as you say. But I think it older than the nineties as I remember riding it in the late 1980’s say circa 1988. It was Dover traditional from the begining as I recall. In the 90’s or early 2000’s they added another large elevator next to the swinging pendulum. Unfortunately I can not remember the fixtures on that one.
historiclift27 That elevator had Adams, it has since been modernized with Innovation Bruiser. The Dover from the late 80’s/early 90’s got modded with Innovation Universal. This is the only oldest elevator that’s still remaining in the entire museum.
I love the A Pitched Motor!!
Nice A-pitched motor!
I almost went here when I was in houston, but decided to ride the METROrail instead.
Fancy dinner fork bell
I don’t remember the last time I was at HMNS.
Interesting COP.
