Well the Tefal Easy Fry link here again www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B... has been amazing in the sense of no more waiting for the convection oven to preheat to a certain temperature before we can put food. Items such as chicken or other meats and chips to name a few can now be done straight away without the need for preheat. Example here is myself i might say i want chips and chicken for my dinner, i wont have to wait 25 minutes or so for the convection to reach the temp of 200 or 220 before i can put food in. Now thanks to the Tefal Easy Fry i can take the food straight out the freezer place inside the compartment in the Tefal Easy Fry and select a cooking temperature and a time limit and then press to start the food. I can trust Tefal that them saying i dont need to preheat first like i used to with the convention oven and also that my food will come out hot and edible to eat. I must point out that with oven food dont cook it and leave it because your busy doing something, as the food gets colder each time and will just end up eating a not piping hot meal. So as soon as you hear that bell ring quickly get your food on the plate or bowl ready for consumption prepare your salads before hand so its all ready to go soon as food removed from the Easy Fry. My convection oven used to always trip the the circuit breakers turning power off in the house, this no longer happens with the Tefal Easy Fry. I have also got some potatoes from a bag normal potatoes and cut them up so they smaller and placed in the Tefal Easy Fry also with the skins on as they are baby potatoes. The results were nice they were not crunchy as i dont add oil but they were still very nice to eat. So this along with my other Tefal product i have featured on The Garner Collective the Tefal Pressure Cooker have been 2 products that make cooking at home a fun thing to do. Isn't the grill plate meant to go in no matter if you are air frying or grilling? You just flip it depending on what you are doing. Haven't seen in the instructions anywhere to not use the plate.
Grill plate comes out so the empty base can put chicken or chips or things. leaving grill plate in takes up space.
Hi is their a cook from frozen option? I wanted to buy this model, but I read quite a lot of reviews saying it was very loud, 72 decibels, apparently. The other negative is it doesn't come with a decent manual, just basic diagram instructions, which for the price doesn't seem right. I'm still undecided for now. Many thanks 😊

Is the 4.2L capacity big enough to cook a whole chicken?
And can you turn the beeping sound off as you press the controls?
The beeping can not be turned off and if chicken not huge yes.
Is there any smoke coming out from the back of the air fryer as mine does have plenty of smoke coming out when I am trying to air fry something?
Mine is perfect i make sure it's not near the wall when using and it's clear of things around it.
i dont like the ones that dont have an inner basket because when you tip it all the fat from the bottom falls onto the plate and the food
he has to put the tray first and then food on top of it so that oil drips to the bottom and wont touch the food, i dont know why he didnt do it, tray has two side, one side up when you want to grill

so the grill plate does not need to be used to air fry correct ? its inconclusive in the picture instructions. Not clear at all

Grill plate for Grill and need to be pre hited for Grill. The instructions book is very bad

Hi you don't need 2 preheat.
you do need to preheat using the grill plate for steak, it's 15 mins with the raised side of plate facing upwards, as per instructions in box and on Tefal video..
no preheat for normal air fry.
Looking at getting one can I cook a ready meal in it
Hi a ready meal means just need heating up so put in microwave for that.

Can you cook a proper meal, like curry goat and rice?
Hi this is a easy fry grill and oven so I don't recommend it unless the goat your doing is frozen but it won't cook rice in this.

Hi you don't put air fryers in dish washer as its a electrical item.
