Wow. That last split was amazing. This game is still new, and I'm looking forward to the future when even more strategies and better routes are discovered. Congrats on the WR.

It feels like there should be a better way to route around that last set of fury blocks, but it also looks like the lucky island is something you have to wait for either way so it's forced to be longer no matter what... huh. Also this speedrun taught me a few things about the game I never knew... like the lucky islands being nearly pointless since you can just warp to them without ending the storm. And that you can carry cats on plessie despite all common sense telling you that it'd be a bad idea. (What lunatic discovered that little trick?) And bowser JR can just... massively extend a propeller block jump for some reason. And that bunny hopping is usually faster than the max speed panels for some reason. And that the Tanuki suit is only useful for carrying keys but I can't tell if you gave up on the proper key throwing timing the first time around or missed.
Honestly lucky island seems like it's going to enforce a hard cap on time for the second half of the game (Unless you're doing an amiibo allowed run)
The level design of this DLC is great. Very fun to watch runs of this.

I don't get it, why do you bunnyhop in a zigzag? Does the triple jump slow you down?
triple jump? there's no triple jump in 3DW or Bowser's Fury

mmm kinda embarrassing but i literally still have no idea how this game works and im pretty sure I spent over an hour and a half just covering one little island so…

Why is he loading the game after the bower fights?
Idk but maybe it's for skipping cutscenes or to load him in a different place.
Loading the game again (dubbed as double loading) just makes bowsers timer for him to spawn in faster. This is a short explanation, but it's way more complex than that.
