That collection is amazing. Iam extremely jealous. but so glad i got to at least see it. Im actually just trying out Command Mission for the 1st time and im really looking forward to it. Megaman is by far in my top 5 Favorite series.
great review. back in the day I didn't play X1 or X2 that much (I didn't have a snes) but as soon as I got me a PSX, I really enjoyed playing from X3 to X6.
the level design in Gates lab is pretty ridiculous, i actually had to look up how to get past the spikes in Gate's lab 1. i can definitely agree with you on the music, the final form of sigma has the best sigma music out of the whole series
Excellent job as always Rob. And of course, it couldn't have been possible without Johnny's editing skills. But of course, the question becomes, if/when will you do a MegaMan Zero series review? That series really brought back the hardcore elements I feel. Maybe next year? Thanks again for this one.
Great review can't wait till the next one. Johnny great job on the editing has also. Rob man great job talking about the games. Your passion and desire for the Mega Man series really come through. Great job guy's. By far your Mega Man reviews are the best on TH-cam. Keep up the great work.
I unfortunately didn't get into the X series until X7...which was unfortunate. Because I decided that they must all be rough. After a few years I finally gave X8 a shot...and WOW! boy am I glad I did. It opened up the whole series for me. Great stuff RobMan!
Very awesome :D I didn't know there were Gameboy Color X games, so I learned something new! :) And I'm glad to hear you enjoyed Command Mission. I loved it when I was younger, but it seemed many of my friend hadn't heard of it or played it. (Though I do remember one of the party member's special moves had you spin the C-stick at a fast pace....another case of a nintendo game hurting the palm of my hand from joystick spinning lol)
Great stuff Rob. What game is the footage for Megaman Xtreme 2 actually taken from though? There's no way a Game Boy Color game could look that good. Is it one of the SNES Megaman X games?
I really want to get the Megaman X Collection but it never was released here and got the NTSC version of Megaman Anniverary Collection on Gamecube. It is pretty pricey on ebay and that when I look for a copy. I've played X3, X4 & X5 from the series and really enjoyed them and want to experience the rest. Great review Rob.
Wow, great information. X5 was my first ever Megaman game, however I wasn't able to understand any of the story because I was too young and also didn't speak english lol. X6 was my favorite, but always use to creep me out so bad as a child. Even though I couldn't understand the story, the Zero ghost, the music and the overall vibe of it gave me chills.
I love how you guys do series review. Respect on the hard work. Cause of you guys playing Ys and Mega man Series and I love it. You guys should do a resident evil series review and I would like to hear your opinion on the Horror Genre in games. Or a silent Hill series Review even.
Glad to hear you mention the Mega Man Xtreme games. Mega Man Xtreme 2 really is one of the best games in the X series - great graphics, good story, and some totally wild boss fights.
I got to say I respect you saying you didn't play the game cuz you haven't finished the other one yet that's how I am as well like I'll get to it after I finish them in sequential order
Dynamo as a guy in a Capcom game... conceded I think so! Because before this they had the Dynamo cab aka dynamo cabinet for their arcade games such as street fighter 2.
Amazing review, Rob Man! You have to make a review of the Mega Man Zero series someday. I've always found them to be fantastic additions of the Mega Man franchise.
@VAST56 Not sure where you can find the collection in Europe, but just to know that the PS2 version is cheaper, but the Gamecube ver. (may be more expensive) can let you play it with a SNES gamepad with a adapter.
very nice review. could you do a more in depth review of each of the megaman games? my personal fav is megaman x4 (it was called Rockman x4 at that time)
@43riot I have the DVD box sets of the North American cartoon series, as well as the Japanese OVAs "Upon a Star". The final episode of the MegaMan North American series did have a crossover with X.
man mega man x8 came out when i was a kid and was the first mega man game i ever played. I loved it, had no idea what was happening in the story but it was fun.
Awesome series review guys!! I've never played any of the Mega Man X series, in fact I've only ever played Mega Man 2, but now I know which Xs to get and which to skip entirely. I love to see your passion and enthusiasm for this franchise, Rob Man. It definitely makes me want to get a few of them and start playing these Nintendo classics myself. Well done Johnny on editing such a monster review together. I look forward to "Next Time".
Just for sake of completeness it would be nice to have had point out that the weapons got from defeated bosses were the weak points of others. My last X experience was X3, sadly it wasn't ported to N64 and I never had a PS... so... as a big fan as I were it's nice to know what happened after X3! Thanks
Since a lot of the music is so damn awesome (especially from MMX4) I'm rather surprised you don't have the MMX1 to X6 Soundtrack Collection, or does Johnny have it in his gamesoundtrack collection?
That's right, X5 was "the last one" but onestly i'm in love with X6, the opening is stunning and I enjoy the X armor. But absolutely YES i don't wanna put my hands on X7 e X8 in that 3D stuff!!
it's a great show and all bro very informative but i noticed something while you were showing your collection. I noticed your shelf is bowing down a little bit under the weight of your guides lol you might want to stick a support beam before it busts under the weight but otherwise good show dude.
+Clouse Hands There actually is a support beam in the form of a plastic tube and a copy of Double Dungeons for the Turbo Grafx 16 behind the game boxes.
Have you seen those Megaman D-arts figures Robman? Those are something you might really like especially if they release the rumored Megaman Volnutt version a.k.a Megaman Legends version. :)
I paused the video when you got to the ride armor to tell someone that I had been trying to get that for years but it was $150 the one time I saw it in a store. Unpaused and you said it was $150 XD Great look at the series. I'd recommend trying out X8. The story from X7 doesn't mean much and X8 was actually really fun. To me it was the best one of the post X5 games.
Excellent review!! A really interesting insight into the X-series which I totally missed out on back in the days.. played the first one though. Must find the time to play some of these gems!! Great Job Rob Man!!
Hey Rob Man, Big fan of the all things Mega Man and was wondering what was your take on Mega Man Legends. I absolutely loved that series and really wished Capcom didn't scrap the third installment. Great job on the series review.
hey Rob quick question was megaman x6 in 2006? or earlier? cause you said 2006 so was it released after x7 and x8?
Great stuff guys, your videos are always a pleasure. Also, it's great to see Rob get his own episodes every now and again =D
so is X4 the best?
It was really interesting to see you dive in on this series. Thanks for the video.
Love your passion for the series. What editing software do you use to put your voice over the clips of the video games as you continue to talk?
Awesome inside on a great series, good Job as always Rob man
The soundtrack of mega man x7 is called lazy mind? How hilariously ironic
lol right?
Command Mission was soooo good!
Also, Storm Owl's music is playing during part of this video :) ! One of my favorite MM songs :3
Cool video, you should do something about the DS entries, it seems there's so many of them
X4 was always my fav. But I do love them all. Another great video!
Nice one, Rob Man, Enjoyed that
great videos rob, covering my all time favorite game series
5:36 Lololololol!! I was not expecting that!
That collection is amazing. Iam extremely jealous. but so glad i got to at least see it. Im actually just trying out Command Mission for the 1st time and im really looking forward to it. Megaman is by far in my top 5 Favorite series.
BIG FAN of the X series! Have you played the Zero series that came out on Gameboy Advanced? Very cool games!
Love those games.
I would LOVE if you guys did a series review on the battle network games and maybe even touched on the nt warrior show...
great review.
back in the day I didn't play X1 or X2 that much (I didn't have a snes) but as soon as I got me a PSX, I really enjoyed playing from X3 to X6.
Great review vids on all the games. Have you played any of the Battle Network games or Megaman ZX for the Nintendo DS?
Fun fact: Xtreme 2's story is referenced in X6 after you beat Gate.
Speaking of X6 and Xtreme 2, they''re both my favorite games in the X series.
the level design in Gates lab is pretty ridiculous, i actually had to look up how to get past the spikes in Gate's lab 1. i can definitely agree with you on the music, the final form of sigma has the best sigma music out of the whole series
Awesome review! I don't believe its complete until you play and review X8 though!
Excellent job as always Rob. And of course, it couldn't have been possible without Johnny's editing skills.
But of course, the question becomes, if/when will you do a MegaMan Zero series review? That series really brought back the hardcore elements I feel. Maybe next year?

I freaking love your collection :D

Thanks for sharing your passion Rob.
Awesome series review!!
Good job Rob and especially to Johnny for his hard work!!! :D

So happy to see this in my sub box!
Do the Zero series review! An awesome series and really challenging.
Thanks ive always wondered about this series n never understood the story but now I do thanks johnny n rob u guys r awesome
Great stuff Rob. What game is the footage for Megaman Xtreme 2 actually taken from though? There's no way a Game Boy Color game could look that good. Is it one of the SNES Megaman X games?
i would like to consider buffers evolution as part of the megaman collection :)
Speaking of merchandise you should check out the Vile D-Arts figure. It can equip two shoulder canons!
Was there a console/PC version of Extreme 2? cause I don't recall the game looking that that footage.
Great job guys!!
Excellent work!
what's the theme that starts from @2:58??? I've heard it before but I can't quite put my finger on it...
Cyber maze core. Mega man x5
I have the Megaman X Gamecube controller too. Great collectors item :)
@VAST56 Not sure where you can find the collection in Europe, but just to know that the PS2 version is cheaper, but the Gamecube ver. (may be more expensive) can let you play it with a SNES gamepad with a adapter.
very nice review. could you do a more in depth review of each of the megaman games? my personal fav is megaman x4 (it was called Rockman x4 at that time)
A great ending to an amazing and passionate review Rob!

Great video. I applaud the fact that you are so knowlegable of this series. I love the mega man series. Keep em coming.
X4 will always be the best on the series for me. But man did the style up to x6 (i guess) continues to look iconic to this day
Robman is the guru of Mega Man. Really fantastic two part series, and I found it very entertaining.
Great review dude
Just for sake of completeness it would be nice to have had point out that the weapons got from defeated bosses were the weak points of others. DAMN SON! Forget that I want the shield and sword!
Rob I hope you talk about the Megaman Zero series for the GBA and the DS. They also have a very great storyline and traditional gameplay style.
isn´t the zx series it´s own thing?
I enjoyed the Megaman X series.
it's a great show and all bro very informative but i noticed something while you were showing your collection. I noticed your shelf is bowing down a little bit under the weight of your guides lol you might want to stick a support beam before it busts under the weight but otherwise good show dude.

Hey rob how about a video on the megaman zero series for gameboy advance and zx series !?
Derek Washuck the zx series only had two games
command mission was pretty damn fun. i should replay it again...maybe
Really, really great video. I love Robman!
Well everything in the Epilogue of X5 picks up very easily and nicely with the first Zero game. To X giving Zero's saber back.
great review Robman X!
Cool Robman
Excellent review!! A really interesting insight into the X-series which I totally missed out on back in the days.. played the first one though. Must find the time to play some of these gems!! Great Job Rob Man!!
Nice review. I've never wanted to play any Megaman until watching this. I'm going with the PSP version for starters.
Hey Rob Man,
Big fan of the all things Mega Man and was wondering what was your take on Mega Man Legends. I absolutely loved that series and really wished Capcom didn't scrap the third installment. Great job on the series review.
you should do the NT Warrior and Zero series
