the santa Polar express is brilliant fun, they run trains through the summer some diesel some Steam, nothing nicer than sitting in the garden with a beer watching them go through Ki,mberley Park on a summers day, nice pick ups from Dereham
Lovely haul Andrea. So good that you can bring such special individual items to a wider audience. Such a shame if they languish in a spot that doesn't see high foot traffic. Everyone benefits. UK is such a treasure trove of divine artefacts xxx cheri
Hi Andrea, not sure where in Norfolk you moved to but my brother lived down there for nearly thirty years mostly in Hethersett but he actually had his wedding reception at the hotel in the middle of Wymondham .Beautiful quaint place as I remember. Take care x
Lovely haul, absolutely loved everything I'm a sucker for glass, I would have brought the glass frog and hedgehog I spotted on the shelf. The last two tea light holders were really nice. And I've just picked up to stoneware animal friends owls
I think the apple shaped bowl is Ravensglass? We had a set at home when we were kids mostly ate Angel Delight out of them 😅 If you want to walk Jeff before leaving Dereham, if you drive out towards Fakenham about half a mile up the road on the right is a pull in and a nice woodland walk.
I initially thought Ravenhead due to the bark texture design but actually it was first manufactured by an Italian company and later by Rayware. Thank you for the tip on where we could walk with Jeff 🙂
Hi Andrea I think I was in Dereham this week to Come to kings lynn loads of very good charity shops and two more on the industrial estate where wicks is x
Hi Andrea! Love your videos, thank you (and Nick's too, obviously!!😉) I was just wondering if you have any 'go - to' books / websites / apps etc to research your ceramics and glass - or do you rely on your own knowledge and experience? Please keep the videos coming! Love to Jeff! 🐾
Hi Ann, I mostly rely on Google 😆 Especially Google images. I find other websites with information on the items by searching that way. I haven’t found any particular sites that have comprehensive information. I do have an Antiques Encyclopaedia book and a Millers book for reference too, which I picked up second hand.
@@andreahills74 Thanks Andrea! I am clearing some family 'stuff' at the moment and find identifying some of it almost impossible (particularly glass/crystal). It's fun researching it though 😁
Had the whole set of frutella on ebay for ages could'nt shift it, ended up donating it :( it's a cute set i don't understand why it did'nt go but hey ho.
it's not a car boot sale!!! - it's a charity raising funds for those who need help - should not be haggling. makes for uncomfortable viewing, when you bought so many other things so cheaply and then re sell for a profit.
Have a day out in Holt there are lots of great independent shops and Charity shops to explore , lunch in the Feathers hotel and a stop at Holt Antiques centre just outside of town is a must 😊

Just FYI although it reads as Wymondham, it’s pronounced Windham not Wimdham!
That’s the English language for you… makes no sense sometimes 😆
@@andreahills74 having lived in this area all my life I’ve heard some really funny pronunciations of Wymondham so Wimdham wasn’t a bad shot! 😂

I clearly said that I didn’t haggle and don’t agree with it. I’m very happy to shop in charity shops as I know the money I spend makes a difference.
