Yay you answered my question! And yes I agree, eBay is much easier in terms of visibility and a lot easier to be seen than Etsy is. Also have to agree on Scandinavian glass! I'm one of those weirdos that prefers the clear stuff, especially the ice texture stuff by Iittala, Kosta Boda and Pukeberg who I think are very underrated!

I have sold on Ebay for over 20years or so , I do sell more vintage and a sprinkling of other things , But I enjoy the vintage items the most , ..so I feel to do what's best for you and I think its your favourite as well , I feel like I am rescuing things from landfill for the future x

Would say I had a similar encounter in a club with a male who told me not to give up I would find someone who loved me then vanished. I believe in both cases they were angels or spirits sent to guide us.

Havent started a website myself but do know someone who did (with over 100,000 items - collectables - on ebay) and after the best part of 3 years (items listed both there and ebay) working hard on it and publicising it, found it just was not getting the traffic so gave it up as unviable. Ebay is not perfect (as you and Nic will attest to ! ) but is probably still the best online platform overall, especially for collectables. Without having money and tech knowledge and a decent advertising budget, ebay remains likely to be the best option. And those who put extra effort, like you and Nic, into the likes of a YT channel, can also generate traffic to their ebay shop.

Maybe just try it and if it dosent work in 2 years then close shop and continue on ebay original store good idea i think but it will be hard work

The church is beautiful… But it is extremely inappropriate to use a church to have whatever sales! That is not what churches are for! Churches should always be used for Worshiping Almighty God…and a place to me to know Him in an intimate personal way through Jesus Christ!

Thought you might have gone for the Paragon/Royal Albert Belinda coffee set. The Chesterfield brown stoneware lidded casseroles are absolutely the best thing for cooking hot pot . Loved the Edwardian Country Diary napkins x

You passed on a portmeirion cruet and the brown glazed item was portmeirion planter that didn't go with a lid. I liked the villeroy & Boch naif mug. Matches 3 lidded storage cannisters I picked up for 80p each, selling on internet site for £80 each. Loved the Copeland bowls - old but looked such a modern pattern. Happy jumbling x

I've never heard of a jumble sale. What a pretty church.I would love to sketch and paint the graveyard and church. Its a rummage sale. I'm a clear glass/crystal fan. The stopper was very nice, but you're right, not a match for the bottle.

Was a pretty good jumble sale, they had really strange pricing for clothes, the sign said dresses and jackets were £5 each so i left alot behind expecting they would be expensive but she only charged me 20p an item anyway so that was a bargain!

I used to absolutely love going to jumble sales. Every other week there was at least one in our area. Now we have none !! I really don't understand why we don't have any anymore. We do, however, have many charity shops, which i also like to have a good rummage around. Unfortunately many have gotten quite expensive. Thanks for the video.
