Superb coverage and I enjoyed your mount Fuji video. I was there in Kyoto last December. It seems you stayed near Nijo castle. The train you took after bullet train also good service called JR. the seats can be turned to both directions by just pushing the rear rest backplane. Their MOS burger is also good. It is best to get tickets from counter for bullet train. The staff explains and you get better price as well. I paid 140 dollars reserve seats just two stops from Kyoto to Tokyo. Food trolley was pushed in sold lunch items , drinks. I hope see Inrai , Arikishmaya bamboo forest videos soon. ❤take care and stay blessed 🎉.
Not the “you’re so embarrassing, I don’t know you” when Ann lift her arm up while you’re on that bullet train. Love this couple so much!!! I’m binge watching your Japan Vlog! ❤️❤️❤️
We bought a JR pass when we went to Japan since we covered Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. Also honestly expensive upfront at like $200+ USD but it already includes tickets for Shinkansen, Narita Airport express, and regular train lines that is operated by the JR line. I didn’t know the standalone ticket for the bullet train costs that much! I really enjoyed watching your videos! :) new 🇵🇭 subscriber here from 🇺🇸
Next time you guys can go visit Taiwan. I’ve been there 5 times with friends. Great food( especially at the night markets) , ppl are friendly and hospitable. You can go to the mountains or beaches within an hour and enjoy the nature. The scenery is mind-blowing. Such an underestimated country.
Congratulations to you guys after you guys arrives three weeks ago in Osaka & Tokyo, Japan to visits many great Landmarks around the cities January of 2023❤❤❤
Just thought I would mention that you guys did not go to Torikizoku… that was on the second floor, you guys went to a different place… you can see the flag for Torikizoku that clearly says “2F” at 13:24…😜🤣 Torikizoku is definitely worth a visit as well, great place for low key eats and drinks, easy to order as well!
You guys have the best travel channel ever like literally, it’s just so genuine and positive energy!! Like you guys truly make a difference more than you think and I’m so excited I found your channel, ❤
In case you're still in Japan- you can't put your suitcase behind those seats at the back - it's reserved for those back seats. If you need to use them you have to book those seats.
@@JanandAnn no problem, I figured I better comment just in case. It's free to book them, you just need to do it on the app or at the office. They changed it last year, you didn't need to before that :)
Amazing video! 😊 We are actually going to Japan this spring (Sakura🌸) with my wife and looking for ideas where to go to Our plan is to visit Tokyo, Mt. Fuji, Kyoto and Osaka I’ve watched your tour in tokyo and Mt. Fuji, probably will do the same Im looking forward to your Kyoto tour! :) Can you make a quick videos on how/where you choose your accommodations? 5:44 Ah. You should have grabbed the one below what you picked up. Those are the bomb if you have not tried it while in japan. Tonkatsu Maisen. 16:19. Got me one of those waffle ice cream in the fridge myself. Need to eat it tonight before the frost bite sets in since it has been in there for awhile now.

Hi can you also give us a detailed itinerary from tokyo down to osaka wherein you guys showed us in your vlogs. Also pls let us know which hotel you checked in. Thanks a lot.
Ann, why don’t you guys go to Baler Aurora? I know you been to 0:01 already and there more place to see besides your usual place. If you go to Baler you will like it there. It has a very historic places and peaceful place as well. I would highly recommend it so you can see the other side of the Philippines.
Baler Aurora is definitely on our list this year! We will most likely be driving there this summer to really see it in full bloom! :) Thank you for the recommendations John!
How much was the tickets? I just bought ours tru a website, ninja rail, for 380 USD for two, Oska to Tokyo. I dunno if that was cheaper than if I buy one in Japan.
Our ticket from fuji kawaguchiko to Kyoto was around $120 cad! But Osaka to tokyo was is more expensive, around $180 per person when we were there. We actually flew from Osaka to tokyo cus the flight was only $60 person, a cheaper option.
Have you ever heard of Izakaya 居酒屋? That is a place where you can especially enjoy alcohol in Japan. It is like a pub. Torikizoku鳥貴族 which you ate your dinner at was also Izakaya which is really popular. Anyway I hope you enjoied traveling Japan. I really like your videos from Japan.
glad that i found your vlog as i plan to come back Tokyo then take Shinkansen to Kyoto 😂. How did you get bus ticket from Kawaguchi to Mishima and Shinkansen ticket to Kyoto?. Thank you and enjoy your trips ahead
Not sure if I missed this, but do you think it’s necessary to buy your bullet train ticket ahead of time (smartEX app?) or right beforehand at the station is okay?
Bullet train looks so fast Jan and Ann zoom zoom 💨💨a hundred dollars per person Jan and Ann? Ouch that's way too much for me 😱That food looks good🆒🆒😋😋👍👍🍻🍻
Curious how you used the luggage storage space on the train now reserved only for people who reserved seats directly in front of that space. ??? Any issues doing that?
Hey Jan & Ann, would a 1hour gap between the Shinkansen ride and the bus arrival at Mishima station be sufficient? I am kinda worried about the possibility of a traffic jam. Thanks!
Hey! Awesome video thanks. Would you guys happen to know whether it is possible to book/reserve seats for the Shinkansen from Mishima to Kyoto in advance, and where? I can't seem to find a link to do so.

Hi Jan and Ann! Great vlog as always! What are the drone laws in Japan? Are you available to fly and film everywhere? Thanks!
Thank you 😊 and Japan is very strict on drones, most of our drone shots are from a licensed website called “envato” 😃
were you guys able to get the tickets with luggage at the machine? Great vid! Thanks for sharing.
We actually bought our tickets at the counter in the station so someone could answer some of our questions 😃
Curious how you used the luggage storage space on the train now reserved only for people who reserved seats directly in front of that space. ??? Any issues doing that?
There is actually a completely different car for those who reserved :) so there’s no issue when bringing your luggage with you!
