      A huge walking red flag in these terms, like fr no matter whether a person is married or unmarried if they will see the other going mad for him or her would definitely create a boundary but duh these dramas and the dumb characters earlier woman are being shown to be in this situation and here hero is being shown like that and ofc if it's a drama how's this possible for a woman to not be shown dumb enough for telling secretive things to the other person rather than the husband

      Murtasim's nonchalant behavior regarding Haya issue was disturbing since episode 21 itself. His explanation that he talks to Haya out of sympathy is understandable to some extent as he himself in love with a woman that too hopelessly and possessively. But his way of dealing with Haya got more problematic in episode 23 and went beyond any logic in last episode. I blame the direction and weak script as it tries to add forcefully the track of Haya. Murtasim really needs a stronger comeback from the mess he created even more than Meerab.

    In Ep. 24 , the characters totally went haywire, exposing poor writing. Characters did things against their personality. It was unlike Maa Begum’s character, shown as conservative, and also knowing Haya’s intention, to send Haya with Martsim to go stay alone in the village house. Murtasim who always kept Haya at a distance , suddenly quickly agreed to take Haya with him. Again not in line with his character, like the slap. In fact I expected Murtasim snubbing Haya, telling Mayram to sit on the front seat when dropping her at college too. Meerab couldn’t tell Maa Begum that she had indigestion but told Rohail about the contract, pregnancy, except for how much her husband loved her. All this looked forced, added just to create misunderstandings. With no Murtasim Meerab scene , the episode fell flat.

      The slap wasn't out of character for Murtasim according to the writer. In her interview with Fuchsia, she said how can someone control a person who is yelling and getting out of control other than slap? Slap was the only option for Murtasim. Well that interview made me realize we were expecting too much from this writer who has such a shallow thinking. Don't expect this drama to get any better.

    Yumna’s acting was just amazing! The conflict on her face in terms of her past and current life. Honestly the whole Haya angle is too much. Meerab has asked Murtasim in no explicit terms to not speak with Haya or interact with her. The question to ask is would Murtasim be doing the same things (taking Haya along, cleaning her eye etc) if Meerab was standing right there? Why would u do something in the absence of your wife that you wouldn’t do in her presence?

    These two episodes in summary
    1. Murtasim hires Haya as his shrink
    2. Meerub’s phone has a mind of its own. It is ChatGpt Level smart. It blocks her husband’s calls but it allows Rohail’s call
    3. An experienced woman like Maa Begum can fall to the trope of a fake pregnancy.
    4. The villain can have 3 people killed and have the whole fields razed to the ground but there’s no eye witness nor evidence left of an activity that would take at least half an hour or more to execute. This is next level shit. CIA, FSB, Putin, ISI agents take note please. This is how you do it. Hire Malik’s goons. They are next level Ethan Hunters 😅
    5. Feena succumbs to the “empty threats” from a nobody. Namak harami ka next level. As far as my experience goes, house helps gravitate to and are loyal to the senior people of the house. Not nobody’s like Haya.
    6. Meerub’s therapy session with Rohail. Both husband and wife have employed shrinks for their marriage counselling 😂😂

    IDK how people can even consider Meerab is wrong in any of this. Murtasim categorically knows how insecure Haya makes her, how insulted and vulnerable she feels because of her taunts, how she constantly belittles him - in front of him as well. She literally lied on his face about the gajras and he stood like a stone not caring how humiliated Meerab would feel.
    And not only is he not respecting her feelings, he is intentionally taking her for granted. Which tameezdar , ghairatmard family sends a young, beautiful na-mehram to stay with a married man in a village all alone for 2 nights? Does Meerab have the agency to do the same? Can meerab stay with Rohail like this EVER? And a na-mehram is a na-mehram accordIng to the culture Murtasim preaches constantly. So do not start with Haya is his cousin , thus it's okay. IT IS NOT.
    Moreover in the precap he is screaming at her while trying to make her apparently understand that he was helping her with an eye problem. But is that the main issue or him NOT TELLING MEERAB A THING, STAYING WITH HAYA ALL ALONE AND BEING OK WITH HAYA WEARING MEERAB'S CLOTHES TO ENTICE AND CONFUSE HIM? Also can meerab be allowed to be in the same position with Rohail or any guy for that matter. He had issues with a bangle seller ffs. All he is doing is trying to push Meerab so that she confesses her feelings. Why should she if all he'll do is make her feel vulnerable, little and insecure.
    Furthermore, he is trying to take all the decisions for her. Meerab can not go out to market by herself, but he can go around visiting villages with Haya? He is being a hypocrite and so is the rest of the family. I feel terrible for Meerab that she felt so cornered that she had to confide in a friend from her past. All because her parents are mute, and her husband only cares about ordering her and wants to talk of love. Her feelings really do not matter to him. Because had they mattered, he'd at least be considerate towards the Haya fiasco, even if he can't solve her parents' issue.

      Sorry but in this episode both murtasim and meerab are wrong and disrespected their marriage and partners by giving ammunition and greenlight to an outsider to invade their marriage. Murtasim by taking haya with him when not needed and when he knows meerab dislikes haya being around him, and meerab for telling rohail personal details about her marriage just after she got to know from him he is romantically interested in her. Both acted illogically, and both disrespected their marriage. Neither of the two were right in this episode.

    @gul.s ปีที่แล้ว +100

    Muratsim's actions are infuriating and outrageous. Why oh why would he agree to take Haya with him? To babysit him? Since when has Haya become Murtasim Khan's therapist? He is discussing his decisions, his guilt, his wife with her so casually as if she isn't his always-ready-to-hit-on-him psycho cousin but some great sage and true friend who he is having a heart to heart with. He never communicates like this to Meerub. It got me thinking there might be some truth to Haya's claim that he used to love her in the past, you never know, Murtasim didn't correct her when Haya told Meerub that he used to buy her gajras. God I am so mad. He is clearly currently leading her on, and that's the reason for Haya's growing confidence., which Meerub also pointed out. The last I remember she used to be be-haya and "nafrat hai mujhe be-hayayi se" was his argument to tell her off. Where is that nafrat now, since the behayayi has only been increasing and becoming more and more blatant. Oh well he feels sorry for her then he might as well marry her in future, afterall he only feels sorry for her. Since Murtasim has no concept of boundaries, Meerub is right in asking why the hell did he not marry Haya instead. Can't wrap my head around the fact that, of all people, Murtasim took Haya with him to the village! The writer has gone absolutely mad, why show such a ridiculous flip in the character we all have been loving. They could have presented so many different scenarios to create a misunderstanding without compromising on the characters of the leads. They are making him a dim and dumb character and of course he'll still be the hero because his "intensions" were "pure", it's just Meerab misunderstanding. Knowing the writer's bias I know Meerab will be blamed. Taking a woman with you who is openly declaring and professing her love for you while you're married is nothing but dishonourable and dishonest. He is breaking Meerub's trust and how! Meerab is what she is, she never made tall claims of loving Murtasim, nor any grand gestures. Murtasim did. Meerab has always been straightforward about what this marriage is for her, still she is shown adjusting, carrying out the tasks assigned to her and gradually coping. Now when she begins to trust Muratsim, he gets cosy with Haya. How is she supposed to trust him then? Some folks be like Murtasim has done so much for Meerab this and that blah blah, what exactly? He loves her fine, but on his own terms, he doesn't lose anything by loving her. He has everything he had before he got married, not a thing changed for him, on the contrary he got the woman he loves, so he's good. Meerab ki jaan bachaayi as if he did some ehsaan, rash driving was HIS fault, Meerab could have died and everyone saw that Meerab was actually right in the panchayat scene. On the other hand, what did Meerab gain with this marriage? Trauma and more trust issues. She lost everything, her freedom her lifestyle, her every move is questioned, she is slapped for happily dancing and a responsibility of keeping accounts is thrust on her. All rules are for her, none for Haya madam. All Meerub asked from Murtasim was setting boundaries with Haya, and what is she getting? Haya disrespecting her every chance she gets, gaslighting by Murtasim, brushing off her concerns by calling her jealous!?
    After all this Murtasim will have the audacity to question Meerab's character? I know they'll again make Murtasim the hero while Meerub will be again blamed for being a victim of ghalat fehmi. Murtasim tou hai hi perfect behen ki nazar se Haya ki aankhen saaf kar raha tha....I bloody hate this filthy mysogynistic writing.
    There is no explanation for Murtasim's behaviour except that he is enjoying Haya's attention. I mean dude she created such a big misunderstanding between your wife and you only recently and you just forgave her like that? As if nothing happened? And letting her walk over Meerab? Only saying the words main meerab ki narazgi bardasht nahi kar sakta doesn't mean shit. What has he done to gain her trust? She already has trust issues being abandoned by her parents, and instead of building her trust Muratsim is gaslighting her and hurting her even more. Such a long comment for such bad bad writing ufff Yumna and Wahaj only for you lol sigh. Sorry for such a long comment wanted to rant big time.

    I remember in the initial episode where Murtasim had denied to take even a single glass of water from Haya, was constantly annoyed by her blabber(had even thrown her out of his room when she tried touching him) but now we have this Murtasim who is constantly entertaining Haya and her antics in the name of his kindness and pity for not being able to reciprocate her love. We do understand it to some point, but he clearly knows about the psychotic love that she holds for him ( to the extent that she tried slitting her vein in the name of his love) and even tried instigating him against Meerub several times. He even knows the insecurity that Meerub has from Haya, but he just brushes it off naming it as her jealousy and turns the conversation to a point where he's making it a joke, and riles up Meerub even further. I'm not saying that he's cheating on Meerub or he has feelings for Haya, but I'm trying to say that he should not flow away too much in his kindness because this is adding hopes for Haya, wherein Haya also continues building castles in the air about her future with Murtasim. He didn't even speak a single word to Haya when she forcefully claimed the gajras in front of Meerub as hers.That's such a contrast to his character that was in the few initial episodes ( Murtasim showing Haya her place) This might lead to Haya doing something similar in the future which means stripping off Meerub from having what is her right to have..
    Also, he seriously denied to go with anyone in the house to the village, apart from Haya. That was shocking from his character. And even Maa Begum allowed that despite knowing everything, and still she hid it from Meerub!
    Anyways, I feel that Meerub sees her past in Rohail ( the life she had before marriage, her dreams, her freedom). She felt safe with sharing her situation with him because maybe she feels that he wouldn't ask her to give up on her old self, and become someone new who is adjusting a/c to the laws of the Khans.( Something that she has to hear everyday - "change a/c to the situation and everything will fall in place" ideology) But I'm not justifying her for sharing the contract details with Rohail, she shouldn't have shared such personal details with him about her marriage.. apart from this, I didn't find her wrong
    Both characters are flawed, no one is perfect but Murtasim did disappoint!

      Murtasim's behavior is inexplicable. There is no reason for him to be soft with Haya . May be the makers don't want to show Murtasim being harsh to a woman. But in the initial episodes, he had put her in her place. He can do the same even now. May be he doesn't feel threatened by her advances anymore now that he is married. But whatever it is, as viewers, we are disappointed 😞
      Secondly, even if for a moment we forget that Haya goes with Murtasim to his village, him touching her face and standing close to her is absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous. There can be no explanation for that. I will have to fast forward the scene when it is released
      He better not doubt Meerab because of Rohail now and should stand by Meerab . That can be the only redemption for Murtasim.

    While I agree that Meerab shouldn't have overshared with Rohail, it's understandable because other than him & her other friend, she has no one else to confide in, plus she's conflicted, immature, and impulsive. Also, the way Rohail aggravated meerab (btw he spoke FACTS) by reminding her of how vocal & active she used to be for women rights & ended up helpless in this situation reminded Meerab of her life before marriage; the life she was made to leave behind. She knows she's losing her identity & is stuck in a dilemma; hence, she immaturely overshared. But what Murtasim did was UNACCEPTABLE. Him teasing Meerab, & the jealousy thing was cute to an extent. So what if Maa Begum didn't have the brain cells to understand that she shouldn't send Haya (an unmarried girl) with her married son for an overnight trip, He should have declined. I don't care how many grand gestures Murtasim makes for Meerab; he couldn't do the most basic thing she asked for, which is for him to set boundaries with Haya. She repeatedly keeps asking him to maintain distance from her; Haya has done so much worse for Meerab, & everyone in that house is aware of her intentions; also, she constantly keeps hitting on Murtasim and berating Meerab, YET he just doesn't want to understand his very own wife. His heart is empathetic only for Haya. And all the rules and regulations of that shitty Khan house are only applicable to Meerab; everyone else does whatever they want to and faces no repercussions.

    In one of the earlier episodes just right after her marriage Meerab remarked on the great KHAN family: " Iss ghar me sab ke sab pagal hai". Thursday's episode literally proved that Khan family members only go by one rule: madness 😅. On other side Meerab's meeting with Rohail should not come as shock. Rohail very tacitly reminded her of her free spirited days before marriage and which is true. Being the wife of Murtasim Khan means you have to desert your own identity. Given all those madness going at home and absence of Murtasim made Meerab more impulsive than before and She shared a secret with a 'friend', it is a grave error of judgement but still can be explained. She has literally no one to share with anything personal n her new home , except Murtasim who is more interested only to be in LOVE and Romance but not so much in proper communication. AND Meerab isn't aware of the ill intention of Rohail, to her he's a really good friend.

      No she shared the intimate details of her marriage to a man who just earlier declared his love for her, presented her with a ring, that to me is absurd!If Meerub sincerely only saw Rohail as a friend, then she should have introduced him at the market like one does of a friend whom one meets by chance, or when meeting him, and he declared his love, to actually correct Rohail by telling him that Murtasim does love her! Rohail inferred that Murtasim doesn’t love her and married her for Izzat and family honour!

      @@gerryburntwood9617 Yes, She committed a serious mistake by sharing secret of her conjugal life with a third person. Ans she's gonna suffer for that as well. But my point is her behavior wasn't totally beyond any explanation. She has already been shown to be an impulsive character since beginning. After meeting with Rohail , she encountered many conflicting emotions added to that sudden pregnancy shock. At this point honestly both Husband and wife are doing any good to each other. They both let the third person enter in their own affairs. Murtasim shouldn't repeatedly discuss his love life with Haya and So does Meerab regarding her relation. As for why Meerab did't introduce Rohail at market because he simply vanished after one glimpse that it left Meerab confused. And Why Meerab didn't correct Rohail that Murtasim loves her, because just before that Rohail cleverly discussed her old days where she used to be in charge of her own life and also that infamous birthday party where Murtasim simply dragged her from her own birthday celebration. If you look at those event from a slight different perspective it would make any Person to hesitate to be in the love of such an angry and violent person. Murtasim is not toxic but he has definitely anger and controlling issue which popes up time to time , more so in earlier episodes. All in all Murtasim and Meerab both are actually flawed characters since beginning and I like that.

    I had commented this under the Tere Bin promo, and I’ll say it here as well, that it is truly ironic how Meerab meeting with Rohail is so frowned upon, but Murtasim staying overnight with Haya, gets no backlash (despite Murtasim knowing Haya's intentions and how his wife feels towards Haya). Funny how things are so different for both, men and women. Also, isn’t Murtasim aware that Meerab is uncomfortable with Haya being around him? Yet there were so many people who were supporting Murtasim and had asked me whether I go out with my brother or not? But that’s exactly the point. My brother is my mehram, but in this case, Murtasim isn’t - and for God’s sake, Haya is in LOVE with him. And wasn’t Maa Begum telling Meerab that she knows how to control Haya? This is how she’ll control Haya? By sending her with Murtasim ALONE? And to the people saying that Meerab also went to meet Rohail, I’d like to say that she clearly told him that she doesn’t reciprocate what he feels. However, I do admit that she shouldn’t have shared things of their marriage with him. Both are in the wrong, but this time, Murtasim has a bigger role in playing what’s wrong.

  • @anaazimran6276
    @anaazimran6276 ปีที่แล้ว +25

    I was sorely disappointed with both episodes of Tere Bin. I feel that Meerab's character has been poorly written. Even when she does something commendable, she is portrayed as having done something wrong. Whether she is supporting Naila or attempting to convince Murtasim that forgiveness is the noblest act one can perform, Meerab's actions are always misconstrued. Her apology caused the death of three individuals. I don't like the aspect where, when wives say something good to their husbands, it always has a bad outcome
    I cannot fathom how a family that had previously been opposed to Meerab's dancing has suddenly become so liberal as to allow a cousin to spend the night away from the family with a married man. Everyone is aware of Haya's deep infatuation with Murtasim, yet they still allowed her to go with him. While Maa Begum encouraged Murtasim to take Haya with him, Murtasim was well aware of Meerab's unease due to Haya's presence, yet he agreed to take her anyway. Haya is actively trying to come between them by making food, joshanda, and seizing every opportunity to be with Murtasim, even touching him. Before marriage, Murtasim was stricter with Haya and even reprimanded her. Why doesn't he do that now? His actions with Haya only fuel Meerab's suspicions of him. Murtasim needs to draw the line with Haya and set her straight. If he truly desires Meerab's affection, he must stop giving her reasons to doubt him first
    Aamna, you're absolutely right. I was also thinking that if Meerab didn't know about Rohail's love for her, why did she appear deep in thought after seeing him in Dupatta Gali. Meerab ki toh jaise hawaiyan hi urr jaati hain Rohail ko dekh ke. It didn't make sense at all
    And Hassan, you're also correct. Rohail previously did have a conversation with Saba where it was made clear that Meerab had changed her phone number. Also, in Episode 2, Meerab's friends told her that Rohail likes her because no guy would plan a surprise party for someone's birthday unless he's interested. Despite being aware of Rohail's potential interest, Meerab still chose to meet with him. What disappointed me the most was that Meerab shared everything with Rohail, including the fact that she and Murtasim did not have a physical relationship
    I hope this drama doesn't turn out like Fitoor, where Haya, like Mehmal, intentionally makes Meerab jealous to the point where she starts talking to Rohail or uses him to make Murtasim jealous. I just hope that nothing like that happens

    Maa Begum even suggesting that Haya should go with his is beyond me.
    The whole pregnancy track is so bizarre and useless.
    Now onto Meerab. From day one she's not shown to he brightest person, but her blabbering about her married life to a friend who she just met after so long, and was purposed few minutes before is just beyond any logic.
    And then the fact she is going to see Murtasim next day as if she hasn't just told Rohail how thin her marriage was, telling Murtasim haq hai bullshit, Nooran wrote such a weak and stupid character.

Both of them gave ammunition and leeway to a third person to invade their marriage this week.

    Aamna, Meerab is shocked to see Rohail because she didn’t want to meet him or anyone from college as she thinks she lost her identity and has complexes about that. They mentioned this a few times when she got to know that she is adopted. She would try to call Rohail but then stop as she was thinking this. Also, Rohail is a friend, not only a classmate.

    I agree with Hassan 100%. Please save this drama. Reshoot it or cut whatever. We are happy if they end it here but we don't want to see the nonsense behaviour of all the characters that we saw in last episode. Murtasim entertaining haya, Maa begum sending Haya with Murtasim alone. What in the world chacha sahb does all day. Why doesn't he accompany Murtasim in such serious situations and Meerub sharing such personal matters with Rohail. No human mind can understand all these actions. Or does writer think audience is idiot. Really angry over the last episode. They have taken all the charm and warmth of this drama from us. Please drama makers don't do this. Give us our Alpha male and Alpha female back. We don't want stupid, weak and loose characters anymore. 🙏

    Hasan sir, Tere bin fans are grateful to you for bringing up this issue Truly in spite of the flaws in the storyline and directions I attribute the unprecedented success of Tere bin to the phenomenal acting skills of Yumna and Wahaj They have changed an average romantic story into a masterpiece with their on screen chemistry which is so believable that their characters seem real in life No one other than Yumna and Wahaj could have done justice to the characters of Meerub and Murtizim The communications through eye contacts needs no dialogues Their eyes and touch speaks in volumes Their on screen chemistry is magical which makes the viewers gravitated towards Tere bin Moreover this drama is not stereotypical It exhibits unconditional love of a husband for his wife who is gentle kind and tolerant towards her Additionally the role of a mother in law is represented as a positive person who supports her daughter in law because of the love her son has for his wife These are the positives that’s highlighted in Tere bin It’s amazing to know that Tere bin is watched in so many parts of the world and mostly due to Yumna and Wahaj in their roles If the storyline is leading towards separation or a worst ending then Tere bin will lose the charm It has become an addiction and an antidepressant as it’s a good distraction when we are down Tere bin is a blockbuster drama and a great achievement for Pakistani drama industry It should not be ruined because of politics or any other ulterior motives behind it Some senior artists have reiterated negative comments about this drama I don’t need to mention who or to whom

    I think Meerub was shocked to see Rohail because the last time she saw him was on her b'day. That day, Murtasim misbehaved with him and took her away forcefully. She hadn't heard or seen this guy since then. Also, as Hassan said, it is a reminder of her past life. So him coming suddenly in front of her could shock her.

      Except his pants are too short and we see his discomfort in these while he was sitting in the garden during the romantic dinner scene🤣 irony is that Meerub dressed better to meet Rohail than she generally did with Murtasim, even the nice sari was ostensibly bought for her by Murtasim !

    I think point of Rohail is to offer Meerub an option. We are now to believe that Murtasim is not the only or default choice. Meerub will now choose Murtasim over Rohail because she wants him. Not because she has no other option. Would’ve made more sense if a history was established in earlier episodes.

    Tere Bin - P.S (these are my thoughts on the two episodes so it’s quite a long comment 😅)
    I loved episode 23; the scenes between Murtasim & Meerab were brilliant. I loved the scenes when they try gol gappey & go out together. The chemistry between Wahaj & Yumna is fabulous. Murtasim was acting like he is too cool for going to that market haha but inside he was loving it esp when he smirked & smiled when Meerab looked behind at him. Yumna & Wahaj acted so well there. Rohail entry in the drama is important guys and I’ll tell you why (you both answered that Q yourselves a little bit earlier in the review) - he doesn’t just reflect someone who loves her, he represents her past life - her freedom, her life before marriage, her ambitions, the independence she enjoyed & everything that has now been taken away from her. She will have to choose between Murtasim’s love & the life she wanted in Karachi that Rohail can give her. He holds quite a lot of significance. The scene where Meerab becomes confused & worried after returning home was performed so well by Yumna - her expressions were on point and pushing Murtasim away was a symbol of her resentment towards her husband & this household as she they took all her dreams of an ideal life away from her. I also loved the scene when Maa Begum schools Haya and then has a heart to heart with Meerab - it shows the layers the mother in law has and it was refreshing to see them both have a good conversation and Maa Begum offer her support to her daughter in law.
    Episode 24 - Totally absurd points in this episode which spoiled it. I won’t repeat them because you both covered then mostly. But from Haya being sent with Murtasim to Meerab revealing her marriage’s biggest secret to Rohail wasn’t just absurd but disgusting. Meerab is totally wrong here & it’s absurd what she has done. It is actually considered a big sin in Islam to reveal your “bedroom” secrets or whatever is happening to anyone outside your partnership. And then the whole pregnancy matter - it’s funny for sure esp in the next ep teaser but totally absurd that not even a test has been done for confirmation and its been announced all over.
    25 Episodes in & performances are fantastic in the drama - but Wahaj Ali is totally stealing the show! His performance, dialogue delivery, expressions, wardrobe… everything is impeccable. So happy to see my favourite actor doing so well & getting the credit, praise & fame he deserves!
    I’m now taking a break from drama’s for Ramadan so will wait to binge watch 8 episodes of Tere Bin after Eid - Just wanted to give a shout out to you both for your reviews that I’ve loved. Being a huge Wahaj Ali & Tere Bin fan - this has made my Saturday evenings!! Can’t wait to watch your reviews that I miss too 😄

      😫Rohail toh abhi aya hai and Meerab ko pehle pata nahi tha ki Rohail likes her.... Lekin Haya toh Murtasim ke sath ek ghar mein rehti hai... Haya ne humesha apne feelings batayi hai Murtasim ko phir bhi woh Haya ko badawa de raha hai..... Before marriage he used to hate when Haya entered his room or talked about marrying him and now after marriage he is entertaining her by behaving nice with her 😤😤.... After knowing about the truth behind meerab living the house he should have hated Haya but he is giving false hopes to her😑😖😖😖🤯🤯

    • @gerryburntwood9617
      @gerryburntwood9617 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Rohail mouthing off about what Meerub use to be is fraught with errors,as he doesn’t know the circumstances of Murtasim’s relationship and real feelings for Meerub! He just assumes as this was a forced marriage, that Murtasim is lording over Meerub, and she didn’t even correct him! Where I differ with you is the way Meerub’s character is written is so weak after the revelation of her true parentage! Firstly, on numerous occasions Murtasim had told her how a) he likes her feisty,b) how she is still the same Meerub, courageous, fearless, fighting for truth and justice and that her marriage to him should not be seen as a cage, and that SHE CAN DO ANYTHING and still be a good ‘hum safar’ with him! So madam Meerub fights for Naila’s rights but doesn’t fight for her own rights! She doesn’t even include in her marriage contract for Murtasim to fund her law degree, she could take up her studies, and despite this being a feudal home even Maa Begum equates Meerub being more educated as a good match for her son, Marium is still continuing with her studies! So if Meerub wasn’t on a revenge mode, she could within the confines of her marriage get her education which would have served her better in case their relationship went pear shaped! So to me Meerub isn’t written as an women’s empowerment character but more an annoying, naive, stubborn,hell bent on revenge character who actually attacks the one person in the Khan household who backs her solidly, ie Murtasim! The strength of anyone is making good within the state you find yourself in, and we don’t get any sense that Meerub is trying to better herself, take up studying, but spends most of her time taunting and being rude to her partner and taking umbrage at a pathetic low IQ Haya! This isn’t women’s empowerment it’s a mockery of it!😩 Rohail is also forcing his feelings upon her, and Meerub had clearly told her friends including Saba that she only saw him as a friend, yet she didn’t chastise Rohail in the manner Murtasim did with Haya! So she too has lead Rohail on, by confiding in him all the most intimate secrets she only shared with Murtasim!This too is a betrayal! She could have shared this with Saba her female friend, not a man who just minutes before declared his love for her! Murtasim was out of character agreeing to take Haya, but he never stopped letting Haya know how much he loves Meerub and that she loves him too, and doesn’t want Meerub to be upset with him! Oh such flawed characters, which I guess is the so called ‘hook’ to ostensibly engage the audience, but to me this episode is an insult to the viewers!😩

    The way they absolutely destroyed both the leads. But Murtusim's actually hurts a lot more for me because he was always shown to be level headed. He was understanding and supportive to Meerub who had gone through such emotional distress. They made a standard for male leads and boom this happened. I have got like absolutely 0 hopes for the show now. They knew criticism for slap will happen, still aired it. TB is a big show with the male lead being an imp charm to the success of the show but destroyed it to create drama. What assurance that they will mess not up the plot to carry story ahead. Atp we understand the charecters better than the makers. So disappointing i can't believe I am writing an essay about it.

    Episode 23 was ok but after watching 24, my heart just sank. I think we can all see that there wont be any good Meerub Murtasim scenes anymore for atleast the next few episodes. Obviously with a title like "Tere Bin"; it automatically means that they are going to separate and possibly even go as far as a divorce. Haya will be happy and maybe so will Rohail and we are going to see a lot of crying. Honestly I think I am going to stop watching the drama for the next month or so and pick it up to see how it ends. You are right, this is disappointing and honestly from feel good drama, its going into feel bad territory. We love both Murtasim and Meerub too much and cant stand to see either of them in pain. Its one thing if both of them disliked each other from start until now, we would say; Yes, let them find people to love and be happy in their own separate ways but thats not the case. In Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha, I want to see Saad happy and I dont think Maheer is right for him. Anyways, I hope and pray that the makers of this drama dont break our hearts.

The last 6 mins of SH review was on point & a sincere request to Terebin makers to not make it a stereotypical Pakistani drama. I don’t remember the last time I wS hooked to a drama like this especially meerab and Murtasims characters and their journey. Don’t mess it up with illogic and absurdity. This drama must be a trendsetter in worthy way not just because of views and TRPs. The way we connect to murtasims love for meerab and meerabs pain when she him with haya…these emotions of viewers are special and please consider this feedback for future episodes. An honest feedback from India.

      Every time I see feedback on twitter about Terebin..we all genuinely love meerab and murtasim though they are fictional characters. We fell in love with their romance, pain, emotion etc..please don’t ruin this experience for us by adding too much haya with no logic and dipping the character arcs of murtasim and meerab. Meerab and Murtasim do exist in real life but haya is someone I cannot fathom and her actions are beyond ridiculous. These characters do not exist atleast around the society I grew up. Please do not exaggerate her character.

    I so want Meerab to leave this Haveli , ma begum with her sher beta who can’t even respect meerab. Then they can do whatever they want to do with their favorite Haya . Haya is more suitable for these people. Murtasim can be loving but he really doesn’t even care what meerab really wants. His support towards Haya is clearly disrespecting his wife’s feelings

    • @gerryburntwood9617
      @gerryburntwood9617 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is so untrue! Murtasim was also forced into this marriage, he only agreed to marry Meerub upon her request, and he thought he was doing the right by her( being now a daughter of his uncle and destitute too)! An orphan as Meerub told him! She also told him she doesn’t hate him any more!He further said yes we will walk together in this marriage and see where it takes us! He didn’t expect her to surprise him with that intimacy contract either, yet he felt protective towards her in as much as he did for both his sister and Haya! Meerub is a weak character in terms of women’s empowerment, because Murtasim has repeatedly told her their marriage isn’t a cage and that she is still the same Meerub, strong, courageous fighting for truth and justice and very capable to do anything the trouble with this Meerub is she is hell bent on revenge so her priorities is to attack the only person in the Khan household who cares deeply for her and stands by her! Education is valued in this feudal household which is why Marium is still studying, and even Maa Begum was proud that Meerub is well educated to be on par with her son! So no, Meerub is a flawed character who isn’t trying to better herself through studying or anything else she may have wanted to do! Murtasim would have supported her in this regard!

  • @RubyCahn-cl4lg

    Why are people worked up with Murtasim? He hasn’t slept with Haya. He did not ask her to join him. He was fuming when his men were murdered. Chachu and Baktu were not around and Meerab was asleep. Haya offered to go with him as Maa Begum wanted someone to keep tabs on him and as haya offered she quickly agreed. Drama is called Tere Bin which means without you. So it is expected that something will happen that will cause rifts and possibly separation. Plus this is a drama it needs to keep viewers entertained and is not used for teaching life skills. I certainly won’t call it poor writing not at this stage anyway. Momentum is building and Meerab getting jealous is a sign that she feels possessive of Murtasim. Drama has definitely not dragged but the wait for it seems to have. Loving it from London

    About the ending ,you both are right but I also feel like we need to give writers a chance to tell their stories too, we shouldn't try to influence the stories, but decide at the end ,when the drama is finished, if we like the story or not, i read a comment from India on another review video and she was saying that pakistani reviewers try to influence the writer instead of just enjoying the drama, and i kind of agree to it.The drama writers and directors also need to stop, unnecesarily stretching the plot if they want to keep the interest of the audiences. I think ppl are disappointed in Murtasim a lot due the fact that he was not like that in the beginning of the drama with haya but now suddenly he started act like this. And despite Meerab telling him multiple times that stay away from haya. Do not be nice to her too because it will give her hope. And meerab man she has been through a lot no one listen to her not even Murtasim she wholeheartedly told him that stay away from haya that was the only thing she asked him.
