Thank you so much J.P. for taking the time to make learning key board by ear simple. with your last 2 sessions I was able to easily play 9 new songs, I played after 2:00 A.M. for over an hour I was enjoying my improvement so much. I was really surprised to catch on so easily. Thanks so much to you, and the hear and play team. Dorothy Butler Williston, S.C.

Thanks Jp! I had just recently learned the melodic minor scale and was looking for a way to apply the concept to different keys. This video made it super plain for me!

    Preciate ya, Bro.
Mighty good lesson from a mighty good keyboard man.
Just a thought: Move beyond the traditional somber cadences (occasionally) to the roof-raising shout gospel that’s gonna “rock the house” (ham mercy!), and you’ll have us hooked and toe-tapping right along witcha. Can’t wait for that.

Thanks for breaking down the altered scale. Had been using it for years but didn't know where it was derived from. Also, didn't know how to use in thirds. Your insight is a blessing.

Thanks Doc, I had one of those Ha, Ha moments as you taught this lesson! You definitely connected the dots. Bless you for breaking it down. I realize that sometimes that these concepts are difficult to put into words. Music can be concrete and abstract at the same time. The Lord bless you and your Ministry.
