- "The Blossom" is a short cinematic trailer dedicated to the Ying storyline from the Paladins universe.
A talented young spellcaster, Ying is a master of illusions and trickery, able to befuddle her opponents with bewildering misdirection. That same magic can also soothe the minds of her allies to ease their suffering and mend their wounds.
She made good use of those skills to escape imprisonment by a bandit king and during her time spent as an adventurer afterward. When the Magistrate began its campaign of conquest, subjugating the Realm in an attempt to restrict the use of magic by the common folk, she felt it was her responsibility to join the fight against their oppression.

Paladins Champions of the Realm is a free-to-play, online-multiplayer, class-based first person shooter video game developed by Evil Mojo Games (development studio under the Hi-Rez Studios publishing group) and launched out of beta on May 8, 2018 with the A New(er) Frontier - 1.0b Update. The game is rooted in a colorful fantasy setting featuring Champions, playable characters that have their own unique fire-function and skills. Combat in each game mode is also nearly entirely skillshot-based, meaning projectiles can be dodged. Although each champion has their own personality and abilities, to get around Paladins' maps, the real character variation comes from the Cards and Item Systems that augment a champion in different ways. - เกม

Yo dude, this masterpiece SHOULD be accepted by Evil Mojo and Hi-rez! Music, Graphics, shadows, lights - everything is awesome! I was already shocked when I have seen butterfly, a little fricking butterfly. I was playing a LOT in Paladins but ended up because of content and some other problems. You made me fell nostalgic! Stay with us and make more!

Okay, wtf. This is so well animated and modelled that it looks more like a live action with CGI and an animation! And the fact stuff of THIS quality is being dedicated to Paladins of all things is actually kind of hilarious.
I was thinking that.. Like why Paladins of all things but who am I to judge? lol. I like the game, as well as its lore and character design but personally, I wouldn’t go this far. Amazing work nevertheless. Hope the team back at Evil Mojo return some of the love to this guy
@@needlessnash Some people, myself included, have very fond memories of the game and hold it dearly. We get shattered the most when game goes south. I hope, I pray, that this game will never get shut down as I will lose a very dear part of my past that I hold dearly. There is a very strong nostalgia that some of us have for this game and it's what makes it one of the best games. Old vgs, top play, camera, old talents, essence, radiant chests, vault keys, rise of furia, unused voice lines, SLAYED instead of KILLED text, legendary sprays and so on. There are just so many elements of sheer nostalgia this game offers.

Wow absolutely stunning. I loved the end with the music perfectly fitting her movements and all the illusions. Great take on Ying and how she goes from loving and caring to absolutely destroying everything.

It is always a pleasure to see such a talented person making some videos on a game like paladins
Wow, I had goosebumps. Incredible. It was like a level of "League of legends" cinematics. Very talented ♥
Out of all the characters in Paladins, Ying always struck me as the one with main character potential. One, because she (Along with Androxus) has appeared in the most amount of promotional material when the game was still in beta. And two, because her young and bright personality along with her braveness and determination are the kind of traits you'd find in the likes of Aang, Naruto, and many others.
And if not main character, she'd be perfect as the flagship character (Like Tracer from Overwatch), and as the kind of character who doesn't push the plot forward, but instead encourages the prominent characters with her words and actions.
As for the video itself:
- The presentation is amazing
- The camera work and close-ups are well done
- We get a glimpse of Ying's story and background
- The scenery is both simple and breath-taking
- The lighting is pleasant to look at (Especially the purple lighting)
- Ying's model is lovely
Everything in this video was well-crafted, and there is so much love and effort put into it. Which is why I am very disappointed that one person could release a higher quality video that's double in length, and tells a lot more story, than the stuff Evil Mojo has been releasing lately. Their recent character trailers don't tell us much. Little story, not enough personality, and they are way too short for us to really enjoy.
Azaan's trailer for example. He shows up, kills Yagorath, and that's the end of that. No story, no glimpse on his personality, nothing. Wanna learn more about him? Go to wikipages and watch their liveshows to learn more, which is NOT how you introduce a NEW character.
The last good cinematic was the Yagorath trailer, which told us so much, and was much longer. No disrespect towards the outsourced cinematic team, they're just doing as told, but I don't understand why Evil Mojo/Hi-Rez told them to go with these shorter trailers, especially after Yagorath's left such a excellent impression. Probably budget issues and time constraints, but I can't really say. I don't work for them.

I downloaded Paladins and Ying was an instant pickup for me... I've never one tricked any character but Ying is so fun and it got even better when she got the Mermaid and Siren skin.

I love this, you actually give us a visual context on what could have been the Paladins lore. All we have is some in-game text that barely tells us anything and the rare footage that Hi-rez used to give us every now and then. This kind of video gives a good in-depth perception of the characters. I hope that you'll make more in the future. ^^

I knew when the calm relaxing scenery's too long and without music, the next scene must be a bold opposing scene of chaos/destruction/scene involving fire nation attacking the peaceful land

I'm with most of the commenters here, they seriously need to hire this dude, or at least endorse his channel and toss him some commission work for Paladins. This is every bit as good as the studio-made cinematics for Overwatch and League of Legends, just a bit on the short side. Which, since he's *one* guy working for free, totally makes sense. AMAZING work, dude!!
