Good Assault players realize the weaknesses and upsides of each rifle upgrade. If they want a direct upgrade to their Rifle or just fish for Noobs, they choose the Harpoon Gun. If they want to handle hordes easily, they choose Bolter. Or, they just die because they're the new player that just spawned in. ENGINEER I salute these guys. They're always busy defending their turret from Saboteurs and Tanks, whilst also not having any real ranged options. The engineers who don't want to defend a nest usually pick MADs Kit, whilst the polar opposite pick Governor. that's all the info I got on Engineers. RECON They're usually just, eh. They can reliably land headshots, but don't expect them to nail a headshot across the map first try. Most of them ditch their SMG, or overuse it. The Recon players who can't always land headshots pick Armor Peeler for a faster bullet speed, and a hitscan-ish weapon. Players who are sniping gods pick Gift of Fire, because they can land any headshot needed to ignite the flame. They probably hate Achilles for "stealing their job." MEDIC they're either chill, or really toxic and impatient. They'll heal the players and pull off revives, but there's not really a true stereotype to them. Judge based off their gameplay I suppose. SPECIALIST These guys are as chill as a glacier in Antarctica. They usually don't talk much, and can clutch/carry their team when needed. They go for Steelforge, unless they're feeling quirky and wanna try Stonewall for a more offensive role. They're perfect for any situation, and can always pitch in.
finally, someone bringing up scout kill stealing, i gotta say, playing with one sweaty scout player in your server doing literally everything is not fun at all and probably one of the worst type of players you can play with, especially if they don't revive anyone at all because of the "i am better than all of you and reviving you is a waste of my time" mindset

They'll peek angles and use cover to snipe down an engineer nest, or just use Aerorig to blaze right through it. in all honesty i have that "i am better than you" mindset but i don't trash talk or avoid reviving. i usually just sit there and only speak a few words when necessary

I main assult and whenever I use rallying cry, I shred everything with it. Even shileders by only shooting them once and timing my melee correctly. I also use up a lot of reserves getting terminal velocity to speed across the map in seconds. I don't want to hear it aerorig mains. (Ok maybe I use aero sometimes)
not a recon main, but i usually get torque blade at the start. it lowers my ammo consumption for the first few waves and i don't have to wait much longer anyway.
ngl playing medic is insanely fun. I even made a subclass like the mediknight. the feeling of having a weapon that heals your teammates and revives them, while having a sword with a charge that basically turns you invincible is a really great combo. try playing medic and getting the vita-bow and the overcharger (the upgraded shovel that gives you temporary invincibility) you won't regret it.
That's a pretty neat mix of combat and defensive medic, I'll have to try it some time. I usually get rally with the vitabow and overcharger with the recurve.
Overcharger+recurve= actual godlike being who can do a ton of damage while being able to avoid tough situations with invulnerability to projectiles and being able to save the entire team
I play as scout but then moved on to Assault to be versatile and eventually become a scout with Crowbar so that I can tank alot of hits and still be the awesome Aerorig main I am.

As a scout main, I've never EVER tryout ANY classes before and how they work in my opinion, also I shower but oh boy sure I will grow up and find out that I'm stinkin' as a garbage dumping place.

Usually when i play Scout, I only used akimbo for 3 waves then i main aerorig with side weapon rpg (rocket stormer), medkit and shovel (rallying cry) for quick crowd control, dmg reduction support from rallying cry and take down platform/tank/apu asap.

also 1v1ing sparta is fun to do and also allows for the rest of the team to revive and heal up

As a specialist and medic main, everything I do is considered a warcrime.
assault main here, i love my bolter and i can confirm i shred when i am actually trying and not just messing around (which is basically only when its 200% and mutilation modifier)

Not the grenade launcher, the bolter. The grenade launcher is usually your secondary since it has no good upgrades.
