    藉由拍影片開始與臺灣人交談,這經驗好奇妙,大家看到攝影機,腎上腺素應該都會開始飆升;
    Cole 昨天已完成了365天的挑戰,非常恭喜他;臺灣是世界最安全的地方,你們應該留在台灣,
    衛斯理也可以考慮做 365天的挑戰,繼續加油!你們好勇敢,那些古怪山產,我沒有一項敢吃!👍😄👏

    那瓶酒裡泡著的應該是(虎頭蜂),一般不會有人泡(蜜蜂),虎頭蜂泡的酒據說是因為虎頭蜂的蜂毒在經過酒常時間的浸泡之後,會有祛除風濕病痛的效果,而且虎頭蜂是會危害人類及蜜蜂的一種蜂,所以下次再看到的時候不妨嘗嘗看吧!

You and Cole brought tears to my eyes... just the way you talked abt Taiwan. I left TW in 80s to come to Canada. I spent 2/3 of my life in Vancouver. Vancouver is my home but Taiwan is my country. Brought our girl to visit Taipei in spring 2019. She loved it so much that we planned to go again spring 2020. However we had to cancel the trip due to Covid. We can’t wait to visit again! 我愛台灣 🇹🇼

Wes is such a good story teller and a gentle courteous person. It will be great to see you upload daily or every other day. As to Taiwan or Canada, being a long long time expat myself, I'd say CANADA for Wes for sure. Visit Taiwan as much as you want and explore the world as far as you can, but home will always be home... For Cole, where his family is will be the place he needs to be.

Great video, your amazing work always comfort my expatriate soul. The rat you ate should be what Taiwanese call "flying rats", aka "flying squirrels", they belong to the squirrel family, and the official name is "Pteromyini". They glide from tree to tree in the Taiwanese mountains with the aide of their patagium. Flying squirrel is one of the Taiwanese aboriginal tribes favourites. One of my cousin-in-law was an Alishan Tsou people, he hunted flying squirrel once or twice a year with his indigenous friends although he had lived in Taipei since he was a teenager, and had never moved back to the mountain till he passed away. The aboriginal soul has a craving for this dish. It's really hard to appreciate this kind of food unless one has been brought up with that kind of special tastebuds.

When I was young living in India, one of my neighbours works in the restaurant, he would bring back chicken testicles (Free)for all of us neighbours. We were all poor at that time and we were hungry, free chicken testicles, who care, we ate them all. My father would go to the slaughter house and buy the cheapest meat....... bull testicles. Yes, when I was young I ate a lot of testicles. No joking and .yes when we are hungry and poor we eat just about anything. Eating internal organs, and animal blood (black pudding) were our life line.
French cuisine has something like rats too. My colleagues from south America says they ate fired hamster.
I have yet to taste crickets, insects......I am very adventurous.

Taiwan has 5 mosts. Convenience stores, night markets, sheet metal houses, scooters and temples. Although it's way far from comparing with the lifestyles of beauty and graceful architectures, designings of Europe, great combination of the old and new cultures and infrastructures and magnificent art works of China, Japan and Thailand, entertainment, fashion and prosperity of the U.S., Korea and H.K., or healthy, simple and harmonic environment of Singapore, Canada and Australia. Yet in terms of food and convenience it's performing over the average.
With this World first or second amenities of life and convenience store we need to thank to a lot of talent, friendly and deligent staffs working in the industry.
Taichung, Taidong and bush walking of Northern coast are some of those tourists are not that familiar but also worthwhile to visit.
There's a lot of cousines with chicken, Beef, tepanyakis, noodles, hot pots, soups, dumplings, bread and pastries, snacks, fried stuffs, breakfast, coffee shops, fruits and beverages.
In terms of hygiene, platings and decorations, environment and atmospheres, accommodation and friendly communication are probably can be much improved. But amounts and prices which is cost performance ratio is above the World average. In Taiwan people like salty sweet, bittery sweet or hot sweet taste so food tended to be a little bit smooth sweet than the other places. Some of those good food come from the famous shops and some from small shops or shops in traditional markets are even better. There's still ones not that good but the propotion are relatively less. So will be some suprises to explore.
Great filming and editing and welcome to Taiwan. All the best👍。

It's not bee wine but the hornet wine. The hornet is dangerous for human being and sometimes fatal. Hence, nearby hornet hunter will try to remove it during the night and make the hornet wine you saw. Wish this clarify the concern.

I think they are hornet, not bee. They are strong and invade to human settlements sometimes, people capture those that near human settlements to make hornet wine.

Are you sure that the “rat “ you had is not wild guinea pig ?? People there don’t eat house rat tho , as they are too small and poisonous sometimes,
I had tried the barbecue style , eatable but not enjoyable, You two are so brave
