I have this Bible but I must sell it as I can't see the notes at all. Text a struggle too. Font too small and print way too light. Huge disappointment. I'll never use it.

Which version is your wife’s? Is it just a regular sized study Bible? God bless x
She has a Personal Size ESV Study Bible which is a smaller size than normal study Bible, this is the personal size
7.5 font? Oh, man! My eyes are too bad for that!
