@DMCarReviews a stock SRT dies 0 to 60 in 4 5 secs and the qtr mile in 13.1 @107mph that srt8 from Car and Driver when they tested it all i did was add CAI to mine
@@BlacKnightRising I really doubt those numbers correlate with reality. More like 5.2 0-60, and 13.4-13.5 @ 103
@DMCarReviews so Car and Driver was lying in 2006 during that review, go read the magazine, meanwhile I can attest to my # s since those are consistent on my Jeep the 6.1 ltr Hemi is a force to br reckoned with, always was
@@BlacKnightRising Do some Dragy runs and post your results. Not too worried about what a magazine got in 2006 on a press car.
Well damn. Didnt know these cars were that slow...
6.1s in 90 degree weather is "not slow"
what app to test 0-60
I use the RaceBox device, and the Dragy GPS device + app (which you see on the screen).
First mod the rims please
I like the stock ones
It’s actually slower than the rt that does have all that stuff on in
How so?
LOL I'm surprised that car passed the Virginia inspection. In Virginia, if the spotlight is on the vehicle, it must be functional.
The spotlight is functional!
That's somebody distracted driving . Thanks for doing the illegal stuff , so I don't need to .
Thank you for watching!
when your v8 barely has better 0-60 than a 147 hp Elantra. lol.
Which Elantra besides the N model is capable of a 6.1s 0-60? The regular Elantra is over 8 seconds.
where can I get me one?!
Call Dion on the number I posted on the description! He is selling this Charger for a very reasonable price.
Market place
My 2011 charger pursuit did a 5.99 0-60 first run. These cars are good for what they are. Not fast by any means though
Did you get the 5.9 by Dragy? That's a very fast time.
@@DMCarReviews yes
my 3.6 did quarter mile in 14.6....
The 3.6 did a 15.2s in my testing!
This is honestly hilarious. Can gap these fools in eco mode😭
Only difference you don't have sirens or radios, so no one is moving out of the way for you. Also, 6.1s 0-60 is a fast car.
@@DMCarReviews lmao people in my state barely move for real cops with lights and sirens 😂 And thats a nice 0-60 but its awd v8... my old 1.6L 2001 mini cooper s did the same lmao.
I think its silly that they used awd and the 5.7 for "pursuit" cars. The regular 5.7 rwd already has abysmal 60-130 times, i cant imagine how bad the 60-130 is on this thing with the awd drivetrain slowing it down on the top end. A fast 60-130 is the main thing you really want in a pursuit vehicle.
I appreciate the video though, I've been trying to find draggy numbers on one of these.
@@mizaqenyad4269 A 2001 Mini Cooper doesn't do 6.1s. Many new ones don't even do such times. They have a good top end. Watch some ASP/GSP chases.
@@DMCarReviews oh im sorry, 6.6 sec for the 2001 mini cooper 6.2 for the 2020😂
what im saying is thats nothing compared to low/ mid end sports cars these days.
And 1) ASP are often using rwd chargers 2) they DO NOT have good top end, they struggle to keep up with average sports cars on open highways.
@@mizaqenyad4269 Those Mini Coopers are 8-9 second cars... Most ASP cruisers are AWD. The GSP have more RWD ones.
Those wheels or wheels covers gotta go, gotta have the black steelies
I love those covers.
@@DMCarReviews i've never seen a charger with them, I am not a fan
Theres no 200 lbs of equipment.
The V8 is more robust and will last much longer than these s***** V6's.
The V6's are good too!
@DMCarReviews Oh I bet they are, but from my experience. V8 engines are more robust than any V6 I don't care what anybody says. A V8 engine will last longer in the long run VS a V6 Because nowadays a lot of these V6's are Turbo charged Turbo chargers will basically take about 40% of the life of the motor and just get rid of it instantly. So an engine that would normally last 200000 miles, for example, with Turbo charges. You'll probably get about a 120000 out of it. This is just for an example I hate how all these pickup trucks now. Are these V6 turbos absolute junk I have an old school Sierra with an actual 5.3 l vortex V8 with no active fuel management. Know nothing naturally aspirated with the KNN air intake system. Which was installed by the dealeri wanted it done right. No engine light came on and I have had this installed now for about 3 years now. Definite improvement in horsepower.I could definitely feel it right after it was installed. Plus an airline tank has a certain sound to it when you're wide open throttle almost. Plus my V8 has a nice cat back dual exhaust system. There is nothing like that sound from a V6.

No
@DMCarReviews yes
and testing times is how quick it is, not fast
It's very quick!
My truck would destroy this and the ecoboost explorer 😂😂 . Im jp but i guess its not all about speed. I remeber the crown vics werent fast but they could hang at 130 mph for hours and take abuse like crazy.😂😂
What truck?
gets destroyed by an audi RS3
Okay, and?
Ford explorer police int are slow and they a re ford's ask any mechanic
They aren't very fast either. Not faster than your Toyota Camry 2.5L from 2010.
my infinity m45 is faster
I doubt it! I tested one recently by Dragy, got ~7 seconds. I'll have to upload it soon.
@@DMCarReviews i have timed mine 0-60 5 seconds 0-100 13sec. this is slightly faster than the charger police pursuit top speed limited 145-unlimited 170!
@@super20dan Let's see your Dragy runs, because that car does not do 5s by GPS.
@@DMCarReviews no can do -the car is for sale now and i am not supposed to abuse it. you have to drive one of these cars to believe how fast they are. 3700 lbs and 345 hp = a lot of go power
@@super20dan I've driven one!
lol my wife’s Palasade is faster hahaha
A Palisade does not do 6.1s 0-60💀 It's a mid 7s car!
no its not
Palisade is SLOOOOOW
Dealership “call for price” 😂🤡
